@Ashvarna, factfictionmyth I dont know how CVs are going to show Bhagavad Gita. But as a person who have read it, I know one thing for sure about it, it teaches you to live. It teaches you to have self belief and own your actions. It teaches you how to burn and become a lamp. And the critical 8 lines are the assurance from God himself and have absolute faith in them, no matter what is happening and if the world around you is dark, if you have dharma by your side, he will lift the chakra and show the sun at the right time. Never walk back, walk forward and forward only. Understand he knows what you want, he will open the oppourtunity for you. Be prepared to grab it when it is opened. It is the best book that will help you understand time as not even God is the owner of time and cannot stop time. But it will teach you, how to understand time and use it the right way.
@anshvi Arjun a man bought up with some love creates a golden cage, Maya a girl who has lost her innocence as a child, a girl who has been pushed again and again in the darkness, who is afraid of a man pushing her in darkness creates a cage. Yes they cannot be compared. But the mother Jhanvi knows right why the daughter is like that. Why she has a controlling nature, what she has undergone. Did she made any effort from her side to give assurance to the girl that in the next available oppourtunity she wont run to Ashwin. She could have directed the girl. A child need direction which at first comes from parents. With a baggage this girl grew up and Jhanvi expects her to give freewill to her, when she watched the freewill of the child repeatedly being taken away by her father. Dont tell the child could have defended. She learned life the way her father showed her. Because her father was winning, while her mother was crying and whining when each time she was pushed to darkness. If she had to come out of her father's ways, Jhanvi should have taken solid step. Now Jhanvi has got children who has been given upbringing by a different set of parents.
In making Maya the monster Jhanvi had a big role to play. But everyone thinks as if she has done nothing. Maya was born the way she was from air. All problem to Maya.

When Maya created the cage of Arjun it was again her insecurities which he never understood because he didnt wanted to hear her past which she was going to tell. He told the past doesnt matter. Past matters, because unless you understand past you dont understand why a person behaves a certain way and then provide them the right kind of support. Look at Arjun today. This man is waiting with a gun that has a bullet in Maya's name. How much ever Saanjh tells, the bullet is between them. Because the past is not closed . Ayan is feeling his life is over, again he is unable to move from past and he is given support to move from past and still neither Arjun nor Ayan can move. How could a girl who didnt had any emotional support come out of her past. Come out of that dark room. hadhsejyada you know psychology better than me. Tell me is it possible for a girl like Maya who had suffered severe mental abuse in childhood to come out of that without continuous adequate emotional support, love and acceptance of what happened to her was wrong.

In a way I was happy they showed Bhagavad Gita in Maya's hand. That book should have been in her hand long back. Because that book offers direction to those who are direction less. That book gives hope to people who believe this world has only matlabi people. That book offers solace to those who are feeling lonely. That book tells you, you own your actions and no one is responsible for what you have done, never blame any external person, situation or place for your problem. The problem is you and your incorrect thoughts. It applies to everyone in the world. Dont expect the world to change, change the way you look at the world. Let whatever be your background if at any point you have to fight a war to see the light, and even if no one is there for you, that book will be there for you. Always. The word of the Supreme Power will at any time form your direction. Trust it with all might. You will lose the battle and win the war.

@Shruthi
Yes I empathized with that child Maya whom Ashwin tortured, yes Jhanvi was not a good mom to her but she did try to be one when he confronted Ashwin and even tried to kill him

But Maya not only killed Ashwin but after that tried to put the blame on Jhanvi who by trying to drive her mad and then pushed her from the window.

Then instead of telling Arjun about Ashwin's murder she decided to kill her mom instead and then separated Arjun from his family

What Ashwin used to do to her cannot justify what she kept doing later on...Yes she had insecurities , but instead of looking at the bright side she decided to look and concentrate only on her insecurities and her need to control, instead of having trust and faith in God, she went on to become Arjun's God and control his life

Yes past doesn't allow us to move on easily...Ayaan is sad today..Arjun is posessive today...but they haven't destroyed lives...Arjun used all his energy in constructive work and has become a business tycoon today, he went ahead and fuliflled his responsibilities and took care of Ayaan and Arohi.

His insecurities have turned him into the protector of his family while Maya turned into a destructor...Our past do teach us a lot of stuff but our present is equally important...if one keeps looking at the negative aspect of life then only negativity will spread.

Maya had a husband who loved her, who left his mom, his brother, his best friend for her, who stayed with her for 3 years, who was ok with the fact that she made him look like a wife beater in the eyes of the world.
before that she even had Ayaan who supported her
Even Jhanvi did the right thing for once by confronting Ashwin, she did that for Maya and no one else

but

what Maya wanted was complete control over Arjun.

from a victim she turned into a criminal and made others her victim...That point just like my empathy was with Maya in Ashwin's case, my empathy shifted to her victims.

Coz one's past was painful doesn't mean the person will turn into a criminal...if this was the case then monsters like Ashwin can also claim that they had a traumatic childhood where they were abused and so his insecurities led her to do the same with her daughter...In no way one can empathize with a man like Ashwin no matter how traumatic his childhood was.

Same way Maya's childhood can't be taken as an excuse for her crimes which she keeps continuing , at least i can't

Loved it shruthiravi. Loved your posts and analyses about yesterday's episode and yesterday's episode as well.
Started watching the show again from Monday after a week of abstinence and thoroughly enjoyed yesterday's episode. Yeah I too liked it when Aarohi was shown to be Ayan's daughter and also liked it when Maya was shown reading the holy Bhagwad Gita. Yes the spoilers and segments do mislead most of the time and wean away the interest from the telecasted episodes. So I feel it is better not to give them much importance.

The show has turned interesting after the leap. Hope still floats for a different ending and karma to catch up with all.

@anshvi Karma has caught up with Maya, she is in jail, but karma has not caught up with Jhanvi. She has not realized what she has done to her daughter, she has not understood her part in the crime.
Same with Arjun and Saanjh, they have not realized their part in what happened to Maya. Sound is heard with two hands, never alone. So Karma cannot be with one person, it has to be with all person who contributed to the situation.
Regarding Arjun using it for constructive purpose. Maya also had used it constructively. She had also build F&C. But she was living in the fear of Ashwin, just like Arjun is living in a mental prison waiting for Maya.

For me Maya was not the only problem, problem was Jhanvi, Arjun and Saanjh also and when you pay for what you have done, you realize in true sense what you did to the other person.

That lack of realization is what made them go and instigate Maya again and again.

@fragrance exactly karma has to catch up with all and the world has to tell, what happened to the child in the dark room was wrong. Ashwin Mehrotra was wrong and a criminal and Jhanvi Mehrotra a much bigger hypocrite who gave clean chit to her husband, while pushing all the blame on her child. I dont care whether Maya the woman lives or dies. I dont care whether Arjun is married to Saanjh or he will come back to Maya, what I care is the pardaphash of a man called Ashwin Mehrotra and a woman called Jhanvi Mehrotra who destroyed a child, its innocence, its ambitions, its calibre for their selfishness and punishement for everyone who directly or indirectly supported this man in killing the innocent soul of a child.

I hope Maya used this constructive energy when it came to her personal life...She destroyed lives and kept blaming others for it...Even now she wants revenge.
Saanjh lost her dad

Arjun lost his mom and his brother is in a mess

Jhanvi got paralyzed and I am sure she is going to die either at Maya's hands or while saving someone from Maya

Vandana lost her life the day when one son blamed her and other was battling for his life in the hospital

In my opinion they have paid a much bigger price for their mistakes, not sure what more they have to lose to pay for their mistakes

Maya on the other hand is still hell bent on destroying more lives...For me more than anyone it is Maya who is responsible for the mess she has created of her life...We clearly have different opinions here

In this saga of obsession many more will lose their lives and I will not be surprised if Arjun in order to kill Maya might sacrifice his own life and in the end it will be proven that hadh se kuch bhi accha nahi pyar bhi nahi coz it will destroy lives not only of the one you love, but of others as well as yours.

Maya in her obsession has destroyed lives not only of others but her's as well

@Shruthiravi Do you think when Maya said that the bullet is gonna reach her through Arjun it meant that both Arjun & Maya is gonna die in the end ?

Saanjh stopped Arjun from killing Maya telling him if he kills her what would happen to heras he would either be hanged or end up in jail . So how's that gonna change after 5 years if Arjun shoots her ? He's gonna meet the same fate for taking law in his hand even if its 5 years later !
Maya came back from death twice because Arjun was alive . But if Arjun dies Maya will die too & others will live peacefully.

Ayaan is seen brooding over his dead wife& feels lonely . But he does have a daughter . Usually a child lessens the pain & the parent gets engrossed in the child but not so in the case of Ayaan .

Saanjh has a husband . But it seemed shes leading a lonely life too as her husbnd is busy thinking about Maya & his revenge & is moving around with a bullet with Mayas name engraved in it.😆😆

Why in the middle of the night he's working out is beyond me 😆

One thing is certain now . His revenge from Maya precedes everything. No wonder he kept on visiting her in the jail giving him shadi ki news pulling an injuired Sanjh in a wheel chair & kissing her . Where is that love for Saanjh now ?

I think Maya must come back to rekindle that love of Arjun towards Saanjh .When only he sees Maya he starts loving Saanjh & at least bichari will get Arjun's attention. 😆

Aneri is looking pretty in S3 & I feel she looks so cool with Ayaan ,

How much more do u want them to be punished Shruti? Anshvi listed everything and all horrendous stuff that happened to them for their one mistake of hurting Maya, intentionally or unintentionally. Why u saying Karma not caught up with them? Just coz today Saanjh and Arjun are married and living a luxurious life? Look at how Maya has managed to destroy a major chunk of their psyche ..and that too for what? For trying to protect their loved ones from Maya? From ur posts it almost looks like u want them to perennially suffer, just coz according to u, they made Maya who she is. By shifting the blame on others and playing victim all the time Maya cannot just cannot get away with the horrendous crimes she has committed.
Yes, she suffered...yes I totally empathise with the 9 yr old Maya locked in a dark room and tortured by her so called father, but what exactly did Arjun Saanjh and Vandana do to her?

They all, barring Vandana and including Ayaan accepted her as a part of the family. Gave her love and respect initially. What did she do with that? One potential thought of being separated from Arjun and this woman Maya went out to destroy a whole family?

If u don't blame the victim Maya of Ashwin's crimes, or don't hold her as responsible for the horrendous crimes she committed as much as she should be held, then I just don't get why u hold the victim Vandana, Saanjh, Arjun so responsible for Maya's crimes. They are also victims right. Who only reacted to what Maya did to them(read killed father, mother, sent brother to jail, almost got them hanged, etc etc)

And Even I can say that Ashwin suffered a traumatic childhood, he too was provoked, hence it's not Ashwin's fault he tortured maya, it's the people who provoked them that are responsible for torturing Maya. Will that be justified?

@lepcha that line had a very metaphoric meaning. See at this point the story is if Arjun is not there, Maya also will not be there. So Maya is there because of Arjun. The bullet will show the truth of that line. lepcha the child not able to make the man move ahead I feel is normal for a loving husband. It is pretty much humane to feel for one's dead spouse whom they have loved dearly especially when they might not have even lived for long as a couple. The child looks 4 years and from Ayan's dialogue it is clear Simi passed away when Arohi was still a baby, who knows maybe she died during child birth that means they might have hardly lived together for say 1-2 years. Ayan had told he is not Arjun. He is not callous like him. When married to Maya he was running behind Saanjh, now married to Saanjh he is waiting for Maya to kill her..I love you to Maya one day, Maya went away ILU to Saanjh. He loved Simi a lot, hence he is not thinking of remarriage. But then he has to let go and move ahead. There should not be any guilt in his mind if he remarries that means he loved Simi less. It is not like that. Saanjh says Arjun closed Maya's story, but then Arjun knows he has not. That scene of him on the gym machine wass really good and KT did good too. His mind's turbulence, it looks like he is taking step forward, but then each step he keeps is on the past as the machine brings the same paraphet in the circular fashion. It seems like he is running, but then past comes in front of him.

@anshvi yes we differ in opinion, so let us agree to disagree and @lumos we have different perspective so let us also agree to disagree.

Is Maya confused in her thoughts or the writers themselves?

Why? What happened?

1. Maya threatens Saanjh that Arjun's life is in danger! But, every time, whenever she meets Arjun, she behaves with all smiles to him & is ever ready to go with him, as if, to restore her life back with him!
Does she have still 'pyar' for him or only 'nafrat' as she claims, of late!

2. Maya says God is with her, in her difficult times! But, she calls herself a rakshas waiting to swallow a Rajkumar & Rajkumari or a rakshas waiting to defeat a devi!
Will God support such a rakshas? May be, that is why she is reading Gita to find her answers, if God is going to help her in her murderous attacks!

3. She says that she can die only at a time of her choosing! But, she did not die even when she chose to die, after burying herself below the ground! Her tombstone engraving said she is ageless as no one knows really when she was born! She is even now deathless as she can't die, no matter, whoever attempts to kill her, including her own numerous suicidal attempts!
Is she really a deathless rakshas?

4. What is her goal in life, if at all she has any, now in her life?
To kill Saanjh & re-claim her life with Arjun! or to kill Arjun & herself, together!
Does she have any plan to live, in this world? Then she must stop killings, first! Complete her sentence & get out of Jail, if possible based on good conduct!
But, her demented mind has no such plans! She wants to terminate the entire clan of Sharma-Mathur -Mehrotra families!

Best of Luck, Maya! Think of Peace if that has any meaning still for you!
Live & Let live is not a bad policy, after all!

PS: Maya, Rita & company were supposedly punished for a solitary confinement for their "suspected" killing of Jailor! That is what one heard, when the magistrate pronounced his verdict!
Then what happened? Now, we are seeing a well dressed Maya in a comfortable (don't know if the good looking prison library has air-conditioners!)environs of prison!
Clearly, Library facility & Hospital services etc means, it is anything but a solitary confinement!
So what has changed for Maya to live-in a model prison!
May be, she has turned to be a model convict- I mean, a well-behaved convict!
Hmm. .. the history of Maya does not give that kind of confidence! Has she bought the corrupt system with her infinite resources of money and unlimited access to external world!?
If a duffer can do a 'Dhirubhai Ambani' in just five years of his entrepreneurship, an all-weather hardened & seasoned Maya could do much more things to help herself, even sitting in a Jail!
What do you say?
