@Hadhsejyada exactly. I am comparing timelines only. Maya came to her marriage mandap with a bad past hoping to have a new beginning, but the past came to her. We always have to see it was Ashwin who always came to Maya. Maya baby. Maya on her own never went to this man. Only Jhanvi went. She didnt wanted him, she created a physical prison to stay away from this man. But Jhanvi bought him again and again in her life. Still she tried to reason out with Jhanvi, please dont go to Ashwin. Ashwin tried to kill Jhanvi, but Jhanvi didnt had any problem getting married to him again and then committing suicide for him, not thinking about her daughter who will be left alone. And the situations post marriage aggravated it. I have not yet to comparison of this phase.

Now look at Arjun. He also takes Saanjh as wife after a turbulent past with Maya. What we need to differentiate here is that, in Ashwin's case, Ashwin went for Maya. In Arjun's case also Arjun went for Maya. He told when divorce paper signed. Never to see you Maya Mehrotra. But he went again and fed her ladoo, told her he is getting married to Saanjh and Saanjh told when she dies, they will take saat phere. She reacts. Then again he goes and kisses Saanjh in front of her. She reacts. Post marriage actually she does nothing. Saanjh suffers paranoia. Jhanvi goes to order Maya's murder. Maya calls.

Maya tried to push Ashwin away from her life as much as possible. Jhanvi bought him. Now Saanjh, Arjun and Jhanvi have bought Maya back into their lives. It is they who went behind her and not she who came behind them

Bold 1 & 2- He says goodbye after the divorce paper.

She then arranges to kidnap him, scores an own goal by not paying her kidnappers, and then goes on hunger strike, and forces the jailor to call up Arjun when he is in a date with Saanjh.

It's after the call, that he goes to meet and feeds laddoo, and the scene with Saanjh giving her the invitation card plays out then. She then plays the white saree-bangles card and every time she does something to harm Saanjh, Arjun goes to jail (after the glass incident for example)

The whole chain of them meeting in jail starts because Maya arranged to kidnap Arjun, not because Arjun and Saanjh were dying to meet Maya in jail.

Maya is clearly the initiator here, not the reacting party.

@aekiel yes I agree to you on that point. I missed that. She was on bhoo harthal. But instigating her was not necessary. you know what she is. Saanjh instigated her. After your death we will take seven rounds. There was no need to give her wedding card also. She is a woman on death row. Let her die, that's her punishment. If you are human that's what you will do. Give human dignity to the criminal who is serving the sentence who is going for the noose. Because court has punished her.
Marry post her death, who is stopping them. Sound is heard by both hands. Here Arjun and Saanjh played their part by instigating her knowing very well what she is capable of and then crying victim, Maya did this and Maya did that.

Ok guys so that co relate to another incident also. Ashwin kidnapped Vandana and then the whole incidents started. Maya kidnapped Arjun and then the whole incidents started. Once again that symbolism. Maya running behind Jhanvi and drowning and Ashwin bringing her out as a living corpse. I dont know how the firing by Arjun is going to affect Maya. Will she be a living corpse. Point blank shot usually people die, there is no scope of escape. But then in hindi shows they show most absurd medical miracles

Woah, announcing that they are getting married to each other on the day u die to somebody who has killed ur father, mother figure, almost got u jailed and ur best friend hanged, tied a bomb to u and tortured u by strangulation, got ur best friend/love kidnapped and then almost killed, is inhuman. Right 👏

Nobody is claiming Saanjh to be a Devi here, the way so many of u assume. She's no sachchai ki Murat. She's a normal girl with flaws, precisely why she's human. She has made her share of foolish mistakes, none of which are 'inhuman' as some ppl wrongly assume or judge. But yeah, she is a 1000 times better actually infinite times a better person than Maya will ever be.

But no one will understand that, and will pinpoint her thousand small mistakes while ignoring all the good things she did for Maya, eg: taking a stand for her against Vandana, spending her own money to arrange for a honeymoon for ArYa, getting ArYa married and Maya to come to the mandap. Nobody will acknowledge that, but will readily blame her for hurting poor Maya baby by 'almost kissing' Arjun. Or in this case, telling Maya that she's getting married to her best friend and Maya's ex-husband on the day Maya gets executed.

@factfictionmyth you asked it. Yaa I have not been able to connect it solidly at this point. But I wont leave that scene out. As CVs are really co relating everything in S1 now and post leap we should go to S2 and S3 corelation as time enters the field directly.
In S1 we only had time as metaphor, where Maya gifts the watch to Arjun via Saanjh. And again in Mauritius where they tell within this much time the tide will rise and Arjun stands there.

We need to see who is the representative of time post leap. As someone has to be there.

@fernandes CVs have shown selfless love. unfortunately it is not Dusky's love. It is not selfless. The people who displayed it in true sense was Prem Mathur. His love for his daughter was so pure. This man made a lot of sacrifices for the happiness of his child.

Second was the girl who came and owned up the murder of the jailor for the sake of Maya. The gratitude that nameless girl showed for the woman who stayed hungry for her.

In both these characters love was not just seen, it was felt. And love has to be felt. It has to touch the heart and not the eyes.

Another character who almost came to selfless love was Ayan. He did lot of mistakes, but still he was a character who had a lot of potential and this is one character also I feel sorry for that CVs didnt use to the complete potential. Not sure whether they will give justice to Ayan's characterization atleast in the final episodes.

The instances you have mentioned are some flashes & not main track story! I thought it has some thing to do with major three leads-if one were to believe what they mentioned in the plot, that is still available in IF for all of us to read - the selfless love was another shade which they wanted to show, apart from Maya's obsessive love!
Now, out of the three main persons one combination is accounted for obsessive love! Then , by default it has to be other feasible combination, namely Saanjh & Arjun!
And, there is an attempt to project it also, but not done very convincingly, so far!
May be, if Saanjh is going to make a supreme sacrifice of putting her life on the block to save Arjun or something like that happens, one may possibly agree!
Now, on a different point, Maya should have called Jhanvi & warned her, after Jailor's death! But, Maya is targeting Saanjh, in stead! She should think of punishing Arjun for kissing Saanjh in front of her & then forcibly marrying Saanjh! Lalwani clearly told her how the wedding happened! The video was even clearer! But Maya wants to scare & psyche a chicken-hearted Saanjh! How unfair! She is threatening Saanjh's sindhoor! But Arjun knows maya won't do anything against him! According to Maya, no law or God can break her relationship with Arjun! Even death were to happen, it has to happen together for them!
Then why Saanjh is still afraid Maya would harm Arjun? Maya may harm anyone around Arjun but still may not touch him! Or has she made-up her mind to take on Arjun, directly & then kill herself after that?
Will she attack the little girl of Sanjun, converting her as a pawn in this deadly revenge-love games? One shudders to think!

It was a well thought out plan to separate Arjun from his family since Maya knew very well that Vandana could be her raaste Ka kaata in owning Arjun. If u don't believe that, what did Ayaan do to Maya before she separated him from his brother for 3 years. Didn't Ayaan take a stand for Maya in front of Vandana? Yet, he was made to blame his brother and hold him responsible for going away from his family.

About Jhanvi, I have certain doubts which I don't think it's best to reveal now. If ur so called ex daughter can try to get u killed not once but twice, make u live like a vegetable for 4 long years, and another adopted daughter who has taken care of u even though she suffered the most at the hands of her so called real daughter, then I don't think Jhanvi was wrong in choosing Saanjh and wanting Maya dead. Yes she was wrong in bribing the jailor, but not wrong in supporting what's right. A monster like Maya doesn't really deserve to live.

I said she made a genuine attempt to change...but once she realised that she would never be accepted...Yes she did revert back to her old ways. This is not something that i have made up...This is what we were shown in the show...but if you want to make your own assumptions then thats fine. Yes according to me Maya and Jhanvi are even. Maya tried to kill Jhanvi and obviously that wasnt right and Jhanvi paid someone to get Maya murdered...and this also isnt right...it doesnt matter if Saanjh took care of Jhanvi for three months...this doesnt make it ok. Maya is the reason Jhanvi remained like a vegetable all these years... and Jhanvi is the mother who allowed her nine year old daughter to be tortured by the love of her life for so many years. They have both wronged eachother.

She said no matter what ever role you play if you can do full justice to it & play it out convincingly then the audience is bound to accept it . When you cant do that and people are not liking you means you are failing to convince them. She also said you need to have a broad mind and a big heart to understand Maya & where all are insecurities and thoughts are cropping up from. If you cannot do that you cannot love Maya 😳 Interestingly one thing she also mentioned is Beyhad is breaking of stereotypes , so the ending might not be a clique . Another interesting thing she said is when she got to read the whole script she was blown away by the story and after the meeting ended she told her manager she has to do this role. Don't think dying a death of a petty vamp would have blown her away and got her excited .

JW also said for you to play something convincingly theres actually a secret & then she stopped herself and said shes not going to reveal that secret now but on the last day of Beyhadh 😆

Actually I see people who support Maya does see from where her insecurities and troubles crop up from , at least I do , kept my thoughts flexible not rigid .

The latest interview does give some hope but I don't know whether I should trust her earlier words since they have either modified the earlier script or just didn't have a full script in mind when they pitched the show to Jenny. 😆 . I genuinely think she was carried away by the S1 Maya and hence was dying to get this role. I will still say that it was a smart choice by her taking up this role even if they ended up obliterating her character since it really showed how talented she is and could portray an entirely eccentric character with impeccable finesse.

I hope we get to see S1 Maya back with no rona dhona, only badassery with terribly cute looks.

When Maya does a Samay, does illusion follow time?

Samay returned back in Maya's life after 8 years!
Maya returns back in Arjun's life after 5 years!
Both have/had gone to Jail before that!

Samay wanted to get back his love of life!
Maya wants to get back her love of life!
Both are/were beyhadh lovers!

Samay did not care Maya got married & moved on, in her life!
Maya does not care Arjun got married & moved on, in his life!
Both are/were obsessed psychos!

Samay was ready to kill an innocent person (Prem), for his love!
Maya did kill an innocent person (Mansi), for her love!
Both had survived many near deaths & returned back to harass their victims!

Samay was used by Maya for her sinister manipulations!
Maya was manipulated by Arjun to get his own divorce
Both were let down by their respective love of life, finally!

Maya & Arjun both were/are carrying guns!
Maya ended up killing Samay, even though her gun failed once!
Will Arjun end-up killing Maya, even though Saanjh blocked his gun?

You know what I loved about the episode most. And this is one of the reasons I ask people not to discuss actors comments/ SBSS segments photos etc in my thread. Because you does go with a pre conceived notion, somewhere those segments await you. I always prefer to do episode analysis with fresh mind with no pre conceived ideas. Something when I learned doing analysis of SKR. Where I had to unlearn the Ramayana I knew to analyze certain episodes with the objectivity it required.

So just like the photographer, I too was misled by the fact Arohi is Arjun-Saanjh's child no she is not. She is Ayan's daughter. A motherless child. Well we dont know when Ayan married, but let us assume he was engaged earlier and married immediately post his brother's wedding and had a child. Yes that is how the perceptions are created. Till the child went to Ayan's arms we all felt she was Arohi Sharma daughter of Arjun Sharma and Saanjh Sharma. What you see is not always true. And based on your experiences you make perceptions or illsuions of what you see. And Arohi means musical note and the girl plays piano whose tune is not correct and Arjun says he will correct it. The beautiful music is created when the keys are pressed in right sequence. One wrong key and the music goes for a toss and you have to break and start once again. Just like life that brings you back where you started.

When Arjun created the golden cage everyone is happy. No one has any problem that they are so many body guards, the house has a number lock just like Maya's apartment and instead of CCTV Arjun moves with armed body guards. The problem was only Maya's cage, its restrictions. Look at Jhanvi how happily she stays in the golden cage when Arjun made it. Yes when a man makes a cage it is normal. It is his need. After all they all had to be protected from bad and mad Maya. But when Maya created the same cage to protect herself and Jhanvi what did Jhanvi tell you are also putting me in a cage. What did Arjun tell, where all you will follow me. Now this man has no qualms moving with body guards.

Saanjeshwari Devi yes you stopped Arjun from killing Maya. But that gun became his companion more than you. I loved the symbolism of gun and time. Yes with the gun he wanted to end Maya. But Saanjh stopped him and made it look like she is giving Maya the boon of life. What are you doing Saanjeshwari Devi. Maya had no fear of death. She has nothing to lose. Nothing Dusky nothing. By stopping Arjun what you gave Arjun is a mental prison where each day he waits for Maya to turn up.

Yes Jhanvi bought Ashwin again and again in Maya's life. By stopping the execution of Maya, by showing her mahanta once again Saanjh has bought that gun and time between them. Yes Saanjeshwari Devi, Maya will come. If she cannot live with Arjun, she will ensure atleast the bullet written in her name he fires at her. And he will live with that gun, keeping everyone in golden cage never living in true sense. I want to know who will break the golden cage.

Finally Bhagavad Gita makes appearance. It makes appearance in the hands of Maya. The book which teaches you how to fight the battle Maya reads earnestly. It teaches you how to swim in this bhavasagar. And yes you can always understand the essence of BG if you read it through the eyes of Arjun, hear it through the ears of Arjun and feel it through the heart of Arjun. Unless you understand Arjun you wont understand BG. It is like seeing a flower without knowing the fragrance, it is like seeing light without understanding vaccum. In another words if you dont know to whom Krishna gave BG, Why Krishna gave BG, When Krishna gave BG, How Krishna gave BG you wont understand what is the essence of BG.

When Saanjh had told Lord Ganesha what is written for her to Maya, everyone thought it was Arjun written for Saanjh. No it was not Arjun, but the astrologer told Saanjh will have to fight a long battle. Saanjh gave that long battle to Maya. Maya woke up to fight that battle. For what was rightfully hers she was forced to fight a battle in which she lost. And what better way to fight the battle second time to take her Arjun who belonged to her from Dusky with the right direction if she understands BG the right way.

And I have hope for Maya. CVs will never risk the most sacred book of Hinduism, the knowledge which Narayan himself gave to Arjun in an evil spirit's hand. BG always stand for the victory of dharma and it can never be shown for the victory of adharma. There is something out there when the metaphor Maya or illusion lifts.
