I have seen many cases being thrown out citing incitement. Please don't quote the court of law judgement procedures if they are not clear to you. The judges are not stupid to not consider other evidences leading to the act of Rape.

Maya clearly invited this. She was playing with fire, there shouldn't be any suprise if she herself got burned.
What took you so long to decide samay is a worst character? Didn't he kill prem who was totally innocent? Wasn't it enough to prove him a creep? Or we should wait till someone does something wrong with Maya to decide whether he/she deserves worst than death or not?

Maya clearly invited this trouble named Samay/Rajeev but was there any way out for Maya? The way there was no way out for Arjun similarly Maya also had no other choice except the time she chose to get Samay's help in form of a business deal she could have refused Samay straightaway but could she afford to refuse him? Even if she was in vulnerable state she was wrong. Even if her psychological condition, circumstances or anything made her sell herself she was wrong...but that was her past...What about her present and her future? If she want to live with her husband than nobody should force her to fulfill his lust only because in the past she was paid the price of it or because her criminal acts could get exposed if she didn't...Also those who think Maya is paying the price of her crimes than do u guys think she shouldn't be punished by law? As she is already paying the price this way...For me Maya should be punished by law... No Rajeev, Saanjh or Ashwin should punish her...Whatever is the punishment of wrong allegation of attempt to rape she should get punished for it...regarding humiliation faced by Ayaan...well she already faced a lot of it...

Just to clarify, rape is the worst, most heinous of crimes right? So it will hurt more than going to jail or losing your husband will. So why doesn't Maya tell the truth to Arjun and the police and save her "honour" by going to jail? Let's not kid ourselves. Unlike most rape victims, Maya has a choice here. And she chose by submitting to Samay didn't she? So from which angle am I supposed to feel sorry for Maya? Calling her a rape victim is actually diminishing the severity of the crime, isn't it?.

By going to jail Maya won't be able to live with her child and her husband...she might be deprived of a new beginning she wanted to have from long time...she might be sentenced to death for killing Ashwin...Her submitting to Samay is wrong...I would not have felt an ounce of sympathy if she was willingly submitting to Samay without any "pressure" without any "blackmailing" if she was feeling pleasure instead of pain in that intimacy...

What is Modesty? the Oxford Dictionary definition of Modesty is "(of a woman) dressing or behaving so as to avoid impropriety or indecency, especially to avoid attracting sexual attention."

In what way do you term Maya as Modest.

A woman who has offered an open invitation to a man, exposed her body so that he could inflict all that a man would have done during the rape - in what way is she modest? Then she blows a flying kiss to him as a thank you while she is in the arms of her loving husband - in what way is this modest?

I would say that she has been inciting him all along. Tomorrow if she cries rape why should we call that a deplorable act. She has been asking for it and leading the man all along.

I agree rape is the most repulsive and demeaning act one can resort to. But a woman who clearly invites them upon her does not need any sympathy or support.

But sorry in this instance I don't see it as her modesty being tarnished. Maya has done enough to tarnish her character without the help of others.

Who would visit a Rapist's den armed with a Cricket Bat when she searched high and low to find her Pistol. Maya knew what Samay is after yet, she chose her alliance with him. Sought him out promising favours in kind. Why do we blame the man now?

These are regressive and chauvinistic views. Rape is having sex forcefully and without one's consent. No one invites rape upon oneself. This heinous crime is committed by people who have rape mentality in their minds. A good person will find other ways to punish someone in a lawful manner.

Whatever Maya did she never thought one day Samay would control her and resort to sexual harassment/abuse.

'No' means No. Watch the movie, 'Pink.'

Agreed. There are so many other legal methods to punish someone. Rape and sexual harassment both physical and mental are the mindsets of perverts.

No one openly invites rape. Rape is a heinous crime and no evidences can support such a crime.

You are so right. Even if we detest someone we would never applaud if that person is raped. Instead we would condemn the rapist and ask the rapist to be punished.

A women's modesty lies in her mind and then comes the body...Here Maya has lost it long time back when she allowed samay to stage take drama .Here Maya doesn't care about her modesty at all...Samay is a criminal and no one can do so even with animals.,same shoes to Maya ..I would say Maya never has any modesty nor goodness.,her every cell is corrupted with criminal tendencies...
But if the same thing happened to someone innocent I would have felt bad...But Maya and samay makes me feel disgust!?!

Personally speaking I totally disapprove of any woman getting raped or being sexually abused. However evil a woman is rape or sexual abuse is a highly punishable offence against her.
