Anyways, think about this without having a prejudice against Samay.

I couldn't agree more.

Samay did not show an extreme behavior in the beginning!

He was shown somewhat hesitant to beat her & cause injury marks on her body when he was asked! But maya insisted him to do it!

He was ready to harm himself by cutting his finger when Maya pressurised him to go through rituals! Maya raised his hopes & motivated him to do it for her with double meaning talks with Arjun! Samay saw the 'loyal' wife's behavior, that time itself!

Maya's 'in spite of you being there' comment & 'in the name of your love to me, stop the video' comment drove him mad to commit a horrible crime!

Maya asked him to destroy himself to prove his beyhadh love, when he met her after Prem's death! He was quietly listening to her & did not jump at her! She was in control & she shoved him out of her house then!

Then what caused her to lose control over Samay! Why is he now getting so cringy?

She blew a kiss at him, while she was hugging Arjun!

It was not the kiss that emboldened him! They would have done even far worse things before!

It was her daring to do such a thing when Arjun & Saanjh were present in that place, caused the transformation!

The stealth did the trick! He got the courage & came to her bedroom to do all those filthy stuff unmindful of Arjun's presence! It was very illicit & immoral! And he was thoroughly enjoying her dilemma & awkward situation to break her morality as a loyal wife!

He was precisely using this 'stealth & illicit/immoral dimension of their contacts' for the second time when they met in godown! He took her phone & sent a message to Arjun to come and catch them in compromising situation!

Clearly, he was trying to break her moral authority & control her! Rape was not in his mind! He wants her to submit to his authourity & control! He has shown all the incriminating proofs, against her!

What will Maya do? Can she expect Arjun to back her up, if he comes to know?
Will she make another deal with this evil man? She can't put him in jail because she also may have to join him if he decides to expose her! Can she silence him?
How? By killing him or paying the price he is asking her to concede?

I don't want Samay to be totally silenced. I want him to be there till at least season 3, to put some pressure on Maya otherwise what difference would his entry have had made? Maya was winning before he entered into her life and she will continue to do so if he dies.
It depends on whether Piyush has a only a cameo role or not. I don't think he has a cameo; articles would have mentioned it.
This can go either way;
Maya bumps off Samay,
she blames him of kidnapping her- the Gone girl way. I am rooting for the second because at least he won't die.

We should actually think over this. People would argue that its against feminism but what if men are too somehow becoming victims of feminism? Did we ever think about this?

Yeah off course. Well, people often have misconceptions about feminism. The thing is feminism is about equal rights. It stands for everyone who's been oppressed by the society. It does not mean empowerment of women only.
Because of these misconceptions people are scared of the F-word. And some pseudo-feminists make it worse for people to understand this beautiful concept.

A man's or a woman's modesty should be respected in a marriage too. Consent is needed in a marriage too. Either spouse cannot treat the other like their property. This ages old belief that "I have rights over you because you are my husband/wife" needs to be demolished.

JW responded to Piyush greetings with some enthusiasm! She was looking forward for the crazy scenes, as per her IG reply to him! A short stint of Piyush might not have drawn such a response from her, I guess!

It's appalling to see how some people think that molesting or raping a woman is justifiable. No one, no man or woman, or any human being, should be subject to sexual harrassment, no matter what crimes they've done.

There is a reason we have a law system, which punishes criminals according to what they have done. There's no reason for us to take the law into our hands. The fact that some people don't care about what's happening to Maya is vile. Absolutely disgusting. She may be evil but she does not deserve this. Samay is no better than Maya.

And some people seem to think that Maya knew what she was gettimg herself into when she made a deal with Samay etc. What? That's no different than victim blaming for the type of clothes they wear. Absolutely horrible.

And then we wonder why statistics for rape crimes are rapidly increasing. Unless we change our views ourselves, we can't expect any change in the world.

No one has the right to intrude on a woman's modesty irrespective of whether she is bad or not. Rape is the worst crime against a woman. A woman's bad needs are to be punished but rape and physical abuse are crimes which cannot be digested at all.

Maya has done bad deeds but that does not mean Samay can rape or physically abuse her and get away with it. Who is he to choose this sort of crime to take revenge on a pregnant woman?

The episodes of the last two days showed that this Samay is a lecherous guy and unfit to be called a human being. Right from the day he made his entry to the show I had a feeling that he would turn completely negative. His non innocent looks and creepy body language were enough indicators.

He is even worse than Ashwin, Samay is the worst character of the show and deserves a punishment worse than death.

What is Modesty? the Oxford Dictionary definition of Modesty is "(of a woman) dressing or behaving so as to avoid impropriety or indecency, especially to avoid attracting sexual attention."

In what way do you term Maya as Modest.

A woman who has offered an open invitation to a man, exposed her body so that he could inflict all that a man would have done during the rape - in what way is she modest? Then she blows a flying kiss to him as a thank you while she is in the arms of her loving husband - in what way is this modest?

I would say that she has been inciting him all along. Tomorrow if she cries rape why should we call that a deplorable act. She has been asking for it and leading the man all along.

I agree rape is the most repulsive and demeaning act one can resort to. But a woman who clearly invites them upon her does not need any sympathy or support.

But sorry in this instance I don't see it as her modesty being tarnished. Maya has done enough to tarnish her character without the help of others.

Who would visit a Rapist's den armed with a Cricket Bat when she searched high and low to find her Pistol. Maya knew what Samay is after yet, she chose her alliance with him. Sought him out promising favours in kind. Why do we blame the man now?

@BOLD: DISAGREE, I might not have my sympathies with such a woman,I will still call that a deplorable act. Without consent touching or having sexual intercourse with someone is a deplorable act. If someone put forth such an argument in the court, that won't work. Accused would still get jailed. That's not only morally wrong but also a culpable offence.
