Very good post Shurti. Whatever d reasons for d way Ayan behaved, it was wrong. Period.

D mentality of a rapist is, she is wearing short clothes, so shez inviting me, she is sleeping with dt guy so she wudn't hv probm sleeping wt me she is a bad woman, she deserves rape as a punishment etc etc. The worst part is majority of ppl in d forum r woman n dy support dis thought.

PS: If possible can you write abt husband wife relationship? I guess u r married. Ppl comparing Maya's actions with dt of Ayaan's were puke worthy. Now a wife can't sleep on her husband's chest without seeking his permission? Drugging, abducting, keeping cameras may be wrong, but how can normal touches be wrong?

The episode just proved even saints like Ayaan Vandy are capable of animal like behavior if provoked. Vandy threw garbage... Ayaan was pulling her hair ripping apart her dress and mouthing obscenities !!!

Wasn't Maya abused and provoked by Ashwin since childhood... the reason why she turned out to be the way she is? Ashwin used to taunt her since childhood in front of her friends calling " Maya Pagal hai '' .& today this Maya has surfaced who can go to any extreme to achieve what she wants!

The same thing Ayaan was saying while provoked... he kept on saying he will cross all limits to get what he wants ..in this case the key even if that meant tearing apart her clothes!

Vandy was stubborn in not accepting her... no matter how much she tried she wouldn't budge. Maya's insecurities have risen from her fear of losing and not being accepted by society.

I dont look at it as Men vs Woman. For me it's Right vs Wrong.

Let's not make it gender related issue.

How long could you remaim 9 years? This reminds me Dev Dixit from KRPKAB, who went through a lot when he was a kid, probably 8 years old, then refuse to grow up mentally, remained 8 years forever. Same is case with Maya, she has been stuck in a particular time zone. I can sympathise with little Maya, but not this grown up kid.

Coming to Ayan and Maya, not at all trying to defend Ayan. If this was his way to rescue his brother, he should be jailed. But if this was Maya's plan to trap him, still I would say Ayaan should be punished, but it would make maya more sick lady who used sensitive issue like rape for her benefit.

But then what about the way Maya kidnapped Arjun, drugged him, tied him, loved him without his consent? Should she be set free just becoz she went through something terrible when she was 9? How long she'll use her 9 years excuse and escape?

Overall both (Ayan and Maya) were wrong and both should be punished. There's nothing to take side.

Maya had started losing even with respect to Vandana. Even she is left scot free despite the atrocities she had done in the name of protecting her Arjun. Yes, Arjun left his family for Maya but the cvs have proved her right despite her crude ways.

So without knowing for sure Ayaan started ripping her clothes and giving that lecherous look just based on assumptions!

No wonder Maya knows the actions of these people so well... a slight indication, provocation and they will start behaving like animals!

Apart from Maya even Ayaan should not be left Scot free& nei t her Vandy He should be charged with physical assault and that Vandy for mental torture as well.

All 3 should be behind bars.

So on what basis was he biting her neck? Just assumed the keys were somewhere there?

It is not an assumption. If I ask you for the key, and you clutch your pocket, isn't it obvious that I would think the key is there?

Slight provocation? For most people, seeing their brother drugged, kidnapped and tied up is not a slight provocation.

Mental torture? Vandana should be jailed for warning her son that he is about to marry a murderer? By that logic, about 50% of India's MILs/DILs should be in jail for torturing each other.
