These are basically the reasons people sympathies with her. But still what's wrong is wrong. She has committed crime for which she has to be punished.

But the saints of this show also show their animal sides when provoked.

Yes, Maya's kaand shouldn't be overlooked. Apart from Ayaan, even Vandana was wrong. Even if she was able to sense some danger, her ways & approaches have been wrong. She should have given a chance to Maya but at the same time kept an eye on her before confirming.

Good that you pointed this out.. Just let us forget how and what happened between Maya and Ayaan, And let us start thinking from where they are standing now..

From Maya's POV: Had Maya really thought Ayaan was trying to rape her?

If Yes, then Maya needs justice.

If No, she obviously lied and there is nothing more disgusting than a false accusation of rape.

From Ayaan's POV: Had Ayaan really thought of raping Maya? (here, I am not talking about physical assault but the assault with intent to commit rape)

If Yes, he should be punished brutally.

If No, then Ayaan also needs justice as his motive was not rape.

But either of their motive was not shown clearly to us.

Maya is always at the receiving end. She will be punished. But will punishing only help? What about those people who create people like Maya?

Another thing is yes Maya is definitely wrong in terms of behaviour with Arjun but where did this serial killer part come?

Did I miss something? Who exactly did Maya kill?

I agree with you, to be honest his behavior was outright disgusting. He bit her neck , tore her clothes and said dirty things to her and then he says I did nothing.

Well that's what my point is... if mahaan atmas can react and behave like an animal under certain circumstances and when provoked then why can't Maya react?

If these mahaan atmas can be forgiven then why can't Maya be forgiven? Although Maya badly needs treatment and security which Arjun is unable to give her.

And yes if Maya has done some severe crime then she should be punished.

Exactly! That's what is the most irritating thing. Why can't Ayaan just tell the truth if he had no bad intentions at all?

Given the circumstances and going by Maya's manipulative nature we can guess... and also hints were given that all the murders are committed by Maya .

But I don't understand why they didn't specifically show it's done by her! Saanjh finding Maya's ear ring at the pandit place.. ...Jhanvi's dialogues to the person who pushed her out of the window... Ashwin pointing at Maya before dying... that office guy ..(forgot his name )whom Maya tells to watch his way in the road and later is seen gets killed on the road... All these just incidents points to Maya.

But why didn't the CVS show her doing it but just gave hints that point towards her and left the matter for speculation!

Her trying to run over saanjh and Vandy was shown... Her spiking arjun and Saanjh's drink was shown ..her misleading Saanjh was shown so that a rift is created between Arjun and Saanjh ... even her drugging Arjun and tying him up was shown... but why were the murders just hinted on her and not shown her doing it!

Is it cuz they want to reveal all these later? But I don't think that would come as a surprise much cuz we all kinda guessed it
