Hi Penfolk, I liked your analysis. Please don't leave the forum. Ignore the fan wars. You and some other ones, who had nothing to do with it, in this thread should just ignore and don't go those topics or take sides as it will just bring you all into fights for no reason.

Other than that, it's your choice! :)

Guys, since it was my idea that we create a separate EDT for people who have different opinions but also have some basic discussion etiquettes, could someone help locate CC forum? I will make a thread there. Or anyone of you guys could initiate it as well...

Made this thread https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/chat-clubs/4824670/beyhadh-discussion-thread

Please invite all the folks who know how to have a healthy discussion.

Presence of DT there might help mitigate unruly members.

Hi,

If you want to stay on the forum you HAVE to support Maya. Thats just one rule to follow. You must never praise Saanjh or any other character which Maya doesn't like. If we follow those rules, we might still survive in the forum. 😆 So far, that's difficult for me, hence I tend to avoid as much as I can and just be here as silent one reading all for entertainment.

you are wrong my 1st post was supporting maya i got so much rudeness from saanjh fans that i no longer post much even though i was really active user in my previous forum so stop putting the blame on one side both sides have bad apples

All of us agree that the unruly members are the real problem, let's stick to that.

Can't there be two threads in the CC?
I am keeping it. If we see interested people we can discuss there.

okay then, we could let it be..especially since the other thread requires PM invite - the other thread's people could spot people eligible for their thread from the one made by me..

Here's the thing with this forum. You're either a saanjh supporter or maya hater, and if you claim to be a neutral fan, then you are lying, a verdict given by maya fans when you tell them that their hatred for saanjh when she does nothing wrong and their constant applauding and defending of maya when she clearly is doing something wrong isn't right.

I have been accused of being a maya hater, when i'm not a maya hater, but hate the immature attitudes of people on this forum who think that if a person is a victim of abuse then society is obligated, out of sympathy to forgive every wrongdoing of that person, and that just because a person has a bitter past they should be treated like an incompetent adult and more like a child who makes petty mistakes without bad intentions and should just be forgiven.

No matter if a person had a messed up childhood or not, even in the eyes of the law this cannot be used as an excuse to forgive perpetrator of crime, so why should maya's manipulations and her controlling attitude towards arjun be looked at as "well her dad abused her as a kid, her mother failed to protect her, as a result she is now mentally scarred, but she is doing all these bad things as a result of her bad childhood experiences, but we should forgive her for all the bad things she is doing, because we feel sorry for her."

It doesn't matter whether constantly forgiving a person only encourages negative behaviour, just forgive them and let them get away with it so the next time they can do something worse, because that person will be forgiven just because people feel sorry for what happened to them as a child. Can you imagine how detrimental such a thinking would be to our society if all the judicial systems in the world functioned under this belief?

Also i hate that just out of favouritism of the character maya, other characters are called characterless, ugly (which is actually attacking the actor themselves), they should die and other derogatory things said by people. If you try and explain all this to maya fans, they just say derogatory things to you or about one of the other characters instead of understanding how inhuman their views towards their favourite character maya and the other characters are.

@sammy: I agree with you. Since I am one of the people who label themselves as neutral views - let me speak on my own behalf. I meant to say that my opinion is made on the basis of what I see on the show and not my like or dislike for any character. It also means that my opinion may change based on the progression of the story and that I may prove my earlier selves' opinion wrong. Like in the episode showing Ashwin's death, I didn't think that Maya is the killer, but since the episode which showed the method used for killing aired, I started to think that Maya is the killer - connecting Ashwin's death to that of the priest in Mauritius, who too died of sudden heart attack like Ashwin.
