Initially one could have said that it is a worried mother, but now she is going overboard, and her behaviour was obnoxious today, if we take into account the information that she knows about Maya.

Arjun was right to call her out for her nastiness, though it had no impact on her. Also, it seemed that she was going to bar Maya from entering her home, on the basis of what she said to Arjun?

Both Ayaan and Saanjh tried but failed to knock sense into her that calling another person a Kaala Saaya, etc is nonsensical.

Arjun was right that no matter how hard a person tries to strive towards betterment after living through darkness, the world/society does not let that person do it.

But Vandana Mata you can never put in that category. She is plain talk. This is right, that's right. Even Saanjh and Ayan are trying to adapt to the new situation in an earnest way. But Vandana Mata wont allow anyone. Her question to Saanjh what will you do if you know there is some truth in what Ashwin said. She is instigating Saanjh. Putting doubt in her head. @Drift didnt see the precap connection had some issues. But the point is Maya genuinely want to change. The best dialogue I liked of Arjun was that of destiny. The way he told you say God write our destiny. Did Maya asked pain to be written in her destiny. If God had written pain in her destiny why punish her for that. In a way he questioned the concept of God itself. Do God write pain in our destiny. Definetley only some misguided humans who think themselves to be God put pain in other's destiny. And Vandana Mata belongs to that category.

@Sum old Maya will come back as she will have no go. To survive with a woman like Vandana that woman will have to come out. Once again she will feel the loss of love and no one to look at. Exactly when Vandana entered Arjun's mom died. She doesnt take that blame telling Raksha had cancer. Then his father also doesnt seems to have lasted longer. So she is inauspicious. She is all venomous dialogue.

as I've said, for better or worse arjun and maya are married. her son loves the girl so why can't she just try to accept? make an effort? a girl walks into her sasural with a lot of hopes and optimism only to be met with taunts. it is sad how no one gives maya a chance,forcing the other maya to come out. Vandana is nothing but a big bully, horribly closed minded and mean.These kind of women never learn and girls have to use manipulations if they want any resemblance of peace in their new life.

And even if Maya manipulates I am with her. To survive with this bully like MIL who wont give you a chance, you have to do some manipulations to defend yourself. Manipulations for defense is approved even by lord if the attack is the way Vandana Mata is doing.

She never acknowledged her error that occurred her family, her home all this years. Blame was to Arjun.

And now she blames Maya, she judges her, she is gossips, who talked about it.

If Vandana has not created at the wedding all that Vandana-drama, if not burst the marriage, Maya are not locked in the room, Dusky would not have to intervene, it would not happened a fire, and Ashwin have died in an empty room, not on someone wedding. Now she says that Maya injury - is a bad omen. But this is not bad omen, it is a bad job. She did not fulfill her duties Saas, has not made preparations, maybe broke glass, she was opposed, and as a result her Bahu suffered.

Furthermore, Vandana forgets that she called Maya light of this house, even she did not know that this is Maya on that moment. But now she chuck out this light, she extinguishes the light, she turns it into darkness.

Maya will surely give Vandana cards, as well as gave it Dusky, but Vandana will have a choice how to use it. Dusky has not made the right choice, and lost her friend. Vandana has much less potential to make the right choice.

If you are disrespectful, negative, strange to expect from person in return kindness, love and openness. In the answer can only come insecurity, suspicion, and self-preservation instinct on alert - and it is quite normal reaction, I think.

And this woman had never acknowledged her mistakes, it was always Arjun was the problem. She sees problems in others not in her. So she will bring problems only.
