As the name of ur thread suggest past come calling is very apt...

Maya's prayer was a genuine one in which she wanted to restart a new life which has no relation with the past ... She says "ashvin k saath purani maya bhi mar gayi" this is the new maya we see who wants to mend things fight to gain the love ... whenever i watch maya i keep my eyes on her eyes ...her character speaks from the eyes. ... Eyes tells a lot about the character ... And her eyes are soft now which reflects love amd care ... The maya we knew is not in the scene now its long gone ... But the point is till when ... The old maya is attached to ashvin ... Where ashvin-there old maya ... Ashvin gone-old maya gone ... Bit is actually ashvin gone ... Why the indications of him being alive are shown like the photo fell ... I'll wait for it to unwrap

Ashvin represents maya's fear ...is her fear back,

Or her fear took a new form , will return in another way ... The inspector may be just a guess ...

Vandana creating problems for herself now ... Being admant like a child ... Now her eyes reflects the emotion of hate and roughness ... You very well explained vandana- lakshmi part i have no more to say...

Yes Maya speaks from her eyes. yes purani Maya went. When she got Arjun to fight for her. You are right. her fear took a new form in Vandana. That's why sometimes her eyes show a bit of anger and insecurity. She goes because this fear also she can fight only with the help of Arjun.

And Arjun fights, fights for her to Vandana. But then how long. I want to see how much that old Maya will remain submerged as Vandana with her nagging will bring old Maya out.

you know there is honesty in maya when she is praying, there is warmth in her eyes. but due to vandana, it won't stay long-she will revert to the old maya soon enough. the girl wants to try but no one gives her the opportunity, she has been ostracized all her life and vandana is doing the same now. I'm waiting for that hypocrite to fall off her high horse.

BTW shruthi, there is a new on zee tv titled "bin kuch kahe" it is a finite show of 157 episodes. I'm not sure if it is your cup of tea and I'm also trying to get into it. to be honest, the lead girl annoys me and the love story hasn't hooked me in yet but im giving it time. only the dynamic between the lead girl and her family interests me. the father died, the oldest sister eloped but came back after a divorce and the middle sister is a selfish brat and it is up to the lead to balance everything. they love each other but very dysfunctional. the entire show has a very fresh youthful vibe so i'm trying to give it chance. if you have time, you should check it out

also, forgot to tell you before but meghna mallik won best supporting actress for dahleez at the ITA. I can't believe they gave it to her considering the show was so underrated and finished back in july, but so happy because no one deserved it more than her.

What is wrong with Vandana?! Today in the precap when Maya was injured by stepping on the glass, instead of trying to help her, Vandana again makes a sarcastic remark!

Initially one could have said that it is a worried mother, but now she is going overboard, and her behaviour was obnoxious today, if we take into account the information that she knows about Maya.

Arjun was right to call her out for her nastiness, though it had no impact on her. Also, it seemed that she was going to bar Maya from entering her home, on the basis of what she said to Arjun?

Both Ayaan and Saanjh tried but failed to knock sense into her that calling another person a Kaala Saaya, etc is nonsensical.

Arjun was right that no matter how hard a person tries to strive towards betterment after living through darkness, the world/society does not let that person do it.

I have no words for Vandana mata :|

She BLINDLY hates Maya and is only looking for excuses to kick her out from Arjun's life. She herself was a victim of burri kismet imagine if the people had behaved and thought the same way as she is behaving and thinking for Maya.

Jiske kadam parte hi Arjun's mum died and later after marrying Arjun's father his father died. What can be said about Vandana mata ha? She is such an Insensitive Hypocrite.

@pom I didnt check out ITA awards. I mean I was fed up reading the awardees. No good show actor/actress is there. But happy to know Meghanji won. She truly deserved it. I had loved Suhasini Sinha. She had her opinions. But what stood apart was if you prove her wrong, she wholeheartedly accepted the mistake. I will never forget her long walk after knowing the truth of Abhay's death. Her walk to Asad's mom to say sorry. There was so much truth in that apology.

But Vandana Mata you can never put in that category. She is plain talk. This is right, that's right. Even Saanjh and Ayan are trying to adapt to the new situation in an earnest way. But Vandana Mata wont allow anyone. Her question to Saanjh what will you do if you know there is some truth in what Ashwin said. She is instigating Saanjh. Putting doubt in her head. And her dialogue of Saanjh meri beti. Blah. Will you instigate your daughter 🤢

@Drift didnt see the precap connection had some issues. But the point is Maya genuinely want to change. The best dialogue I liked of Arjun was that of destiny. The way he told you say God write our destiny. Did Maya asked pain to be written in her destiny. If God had written pain in her destiny why punish her for that. In a way he questioned the concept of God itself. Do God write pain in our destiny. Definetley only some misguided humans who think themselves to be God put pain in other's destiny. And Vandana Mata belongs to that category.

@Sum old Maya will come back as she will have no go. To survive with a woman like Vandana that woman will have to come out. Once again she will feel the loss of love and no one to look at. Exactly when Vandana entered Arjun's mom died. She doesnt take that blame telling Raksha had cancer. Then his father also doesnt seems to have lasted longer. So she is inauspicious. She is all venomous dialogue.

Not only that shruthi, suhasini also accepted swadheenta when she brought abhay back to her. Both adarsh and her had flaws but they were good people and very well rounded characters. Forget vandana, no character will match the dignity of suhasini sinha.

as I've said, for better or worse arjun and maya are married. her son loves the girl so why can't she just try to accept? make an effort? a girl walks into her sasural with a lot of hopes and optimism only to be met with taunts. it is sad how no one gives maya a chance,forcing the other maya to come out. Vandana is nothing but a big bully, horribly closed minded and mean.These kind of women never learn and girls have to use manipulations if they want any resemblance of peace in their new life.

@pom she decides what is right. She doesnt understand one relation. She bullied herself into Arjun's life when he was a child, now she is trying to bully his wife.

And even if Maya manipulates I am with her. To survive with this bully like MIL who wont give you a chance, you have to do some manipulations to defend yourself. Manipulations for defense is approved even by lord if the attack is the way Vandana Mata is doing.

Vandana constantly talking about bad omen, and just collect it to blame Maya. She judges Maya, as once Arjun and the society judged her. And now, looking at all this, there is a question - she deserves that Arjun accepted her?

She never acknowledged her error that occurred her family, her home all this years. Blame was to Arjun.

And now she blames Maya, she judges her, she is gossips, who talked about it.

If Vandana has not created at the wedding all that Vandana-drama, if not burst the marriage, Maya are not locked in the room, Dusky would not have to intervene, it would not happened a fire, and Ashwin have died in an empty room, not on someone wedding. Now she says that Maya injury - is a bad omen. But this is not bad omen, it is a bad job. She did not fulfill her duties Saas, has not made preparations, maybe broke glass, she was opposed, and as a result her Bahu suffered.

Furthermore, Vandana forgets that she called Maya light of this house, even she did not know that this is Maya on that moment. But now she chuck out this light, she extinguishes the light, she turns it into darkness.

Maya will surely give Vandana cards, as well as gave it Dusky, but Vandana will have a choice how to use it. Dusky has not made the right choice, and lost her friend. Vandana has much less potential to make the right choice.

If you are disrespectful, negative, strange to expect from person in return kindness, love and openness. In the answer can only come insecurity, suspicion, and self-preservation instinct on alert - and it is quite normal reaction, I think.

@Laska a woman like Vandana expects her bahu to be a mango tree. Throw stones at it and it gives mango. But in reality if you keep on giving thorn, you will also only get hurt.

And this woman had never acknowledged her mistakes, it was always Arjun was the problem. She sees problems in others not in her. So she will bring problems only.
