Yes drift. Watch that scene closely. in one scene where Arjun tells he cannot leave Maya her expression changes as she looks at Vandana. She has Arjun with her.

Oh I see. I only read the written updates, so did not know as I have not watched the episode. I will watch that scene. Gotta love Maya. 😆

Superb analysis. I guess the battle will now be between Maya and Vandana. It is not going to be easy for both. If Maya continues to work, she will be with Arjun most of the times. Maya was willing to walk out of Arjun's life but it was Arjun who stopped her. If Maya is not there, Vandana would have lost Arjun as well. She will neither have son nor DIL and would have to marry off Ayaan to Saanjh to make her as her bahu. I hope this show does not become a typical saas bahu drama.

Mata is going to kill Saanjh emotionally with her Maya paranoia

When Maya came in colored saree . firstly my thought goes

The Girl who always used to wear white now changed as she told she didn't want to go back her colourless life.. she even told this to Arjun and yeah she not pretending to the world..

and I don't feel the way that the whole drama are fake but ll watch it again.

@divya Maya does what is acceptable to Arjun. She is real in terms of what she told to Arjun. That's why she doesnt care when she comes in colored saree. Because whatever others feel Arjun will be fine with it as he knows Maya-Ashwin stand off.

I was also thinking Maya was genuine but if you closely observe there is a point where her expression changes. There was truth, but not everything was true. She prefers to be a abla nari in front of Arjun which satisfies his ego. But in reality she is power incarnate. She is much assured when Arjun says if she goes then he will die.

Ummm I don't know but I feel Maya was not pretending/acting that day of leaving Arjun.

Because had she be pretending/acting then why did Maya have flashbacks of the Mauritius pandit's words mostly? I felt Maya was genuinely hurt and feared that the Mauritius Pandit's words would come out true. She literally was hurt and feared after listening to Arjun's words about Kaala Saaya.

And plus they didn't really show that Maya was acting. Untill and unless they don't show it I am not going to assume that Maya was pretending. I am going to give Maya a benefit of a doubt. Lol

No Offence to you though... You could be right Shruti.

@sumz I was also thinking it was true for most part, except for a very small moment where Maya give a different look in Vandana's direction. It's a very very small moment actually. Maya cannot go like that. That's so unlike of her. Character changes 360 degree. But still I thought maybe. But that small moment ensured Maya is Maya though for once she has accepted her demons

Well yes there was a small moment... But could that be because Maya might have regained her Confidence back after seeing Arjun's reactions?

Could it be that after seeing Arjun's reaction she snapped back to her old self gaining confidence on Arjun?

But let's see what they show in the future. If they don't clearly show that Maya was pretending then I am not going to assume that Maya was pretending... lol

I always love the way Maya plays the wife. I mean she is wife first and then everything else. Now coming to the episode.

In Maya's prayer today I found a woman who earnestly wants to start a new life. She wanted to find her happiness in her husband's happiness, wanted to consider his family and friends her family and friends. Her prayer was a request to God not to bring her past into her present. Once again Lakshmi is trying to come to Vandana's place.

But does Vandana Mata wants her. No in fact her perception what Lakshmi means makes her tell all the venomous thing about Maya. If Maya was accepted she would have earnestly tried to be the Lakshmi of Vandana's family. But Vandana is looking at all the omens of Lakshmi coming as she knows it.

She talks about Maya's family as bad and Maya has to be bad. What she forgets is her past. How did she marry Arjun's father, when did she marry him. What happened when she entered Arjun's house. What relation she made. A little boy felt lonely, his relation with his father was more or less destroyed. On what basis then she thinks herself to be Lakshmi. Whole life she was trying. The woman who has known the pain of trying, why cant she give Maya a chance to try. No she wont because as per her definition of Lakshmi's qualities Maya doesnt match.

This lady forgets the most important thing. Mahalakshmi sits in the Lotus which blooms in mud or rather Mahalakshmi is that lady who is associated with mud, yet someone who is able to rise above the mud.

No she wants to know the truth of Maya's past. Now Maya comes. Once again for a second we see Maya looking at Vandana. Her eyes have both pain and anger. She goes without telling anything. I loved Maya for this. Instead of falling at Vandana's feet crying she just refused to enter the house that is not ready to welcome her. I would say Lakshmi came to Vandana's door and went back.

Now Arjun takes charge and she tells his mother his wife will be in the house as his wife, her bahu and Ayan's bhabi. Just like she had barged in told him at 6 years from today she is his mother.

Only when Arjun says they will go Maya tells they will go back to their house as she wants to convert Vandana's anger into love.

What we need to know here is that Maya's need for approval has become genuine. But instead of being a door mat she is keeping Arjun in front and then doing things that is beneficial for him and his family. Arjun is her centre, not Vandana.

And she wants Arjun to be convinced fully that she is not bad, inauspicious or anything. I guess yesterday epi also she was asking for that conviction. For every accusation of Vandana she wants proof from Arjun what he considers her.

So Maya wants to leave her past, but Vandana Mata wont allow her. Also she have instigated Saanjh today. I hope Saanjh doesnt fall into Vandana Mata's trap.
