Since the current Dulhan storyline is focusing on memory regain I felt like bringing SV into my FF! Not many parts left now, probably just 2 or 3 more.
Apologies for making this one a bit too long!
Part 6
The next day…
He was joyfully running and jumping through the corridor, in his own world. Divya was coming from the opposite direction. "Ouch!", they both winced together, as their heads banged. "Watch where you're going Mr. Kangaroo", she said with her hand on her forehead. "I'm so sorry, did I hurt you? Let me kiss it better". He gave her several kisses on her forehead. "Okay okay, that's enough. I'm fine now. May I ask why you are so excited?." "I'm going to sneak into that ghost room, and you're coming with me. You know how I love adventures", he informed her. Her hand dropped in shock. "Are you out of your mind? Badi maa will kill us!". The "kill us" comment made him think for a minute. "You know I don't know why but that just sounded very familiar, it felt familiar actually. She'll kill us", he repeated. "Anyways she won't find out, don't worry". "I'm scared", she sounded like a little child. "I thought you were brave! I'll be with you, nothing will happen." It took him quite a few pleases to convince her. He literally begged as he went down on his knees and pleaded with his hands folded.
Some moments later, outside Sagar-Vidya's room…..
Excitedly he walked up to the door and began to open it, he waited but she was still rooted to the ground. He held out his hand. "I'm right here, with you", he assured her. Some of her fear was replaced with a slight smile, and she took his hand. They walked in, hand in hand. As the windows were open, the wind forced the door to close, making her frightened. She jumped and grabbed him, one hand on his shoulder and the other around his neck, clutching his shirt tightly with her eyes shut. He stood there, motionless and clueless. The white ghostly room was completely empty, yet it immediately had an effect on him. "Vidya you are my angel, my wife, my life". "What did you do Vidya? Not fair". "Will you play in the rain with me?". He heard voices in his head, both familiar and unfamiliar. He turned his head to look at her, took her delicate and frightened face in his hands. She opened her eyes and looked at him, she saw tears. "Vidya!", he suddenly said. For a second she was too stunned to react. "Vidya!", he cried out again. "Amar? What happened? Why are you calling me Vidya?, she asked, puzzled. "Vidya!", he said yet again, ignoring her questions. This time he embraced her, tightly with some more tears. She was frozen, and didn't respond. Then she moved away, grabbing his shoulders and shaking him. "Amar! Amar! What's wrong with you?". He suddenly snapped out of it. "I want to get out of here, right now!", he panicked.
Outside…
He was sitting on the ground, breathing heavily and shaking his head. She watched him in horror. "What happened to you in there?", she asked, putting her hand on his shoulder. "Huh? I don't know. I heard some voices, which sounded familiar. Then I felt as if someone took over my soul, like I became someone else", he explained. "But why were you calling me Vidya?". He shrugged. She sat down beside him, thinking deeply about what she just saw and heard. She was stunned when she heard him chuckle. "Got you!", he shouted. "What? Amar that really wasn't funny!", she huffed. "Was I trying to make you laugh in the first place? I win!." "So sir, what can I do for you?". "Give me some time to think. I'll tell you tomorrow." She nodded slowly, and walked off, slightly disturbed. As soon as she left, his smile faded. I'm sorry Dibyaji, I know I'm a cheater. But I had to lie when I saw how worried you became. Initially I had planned to scare you in that room, thinking the ghost stories were just rumours. But I seriously don't know what happened to me all of a sudden, he apologised in his heart.
