The following evening….
Arms folded across her chest, she paced up and down in her room worriedly. Amar could come from anywhere at any time, she thought. I have to be alert at all times, I cant let him win. If he wins then god knows what he'll make me do. Oh why did I have to say anything? Relax Divz! You just have to save yourself 3 times and you win. I already have a few plans in mind. Evil laugh. Hmm, I have to avoid him some how, if he can't find me then he can't do anything. Good idea! I'll hide for a while. She looked around, trying to find an appropriate place. She lay down on the floor and rolled under her bed. He'll never find me here, she thought proudly. "Aw, you found me", he whined. "What the….?", her mouth fell open. "Hello", he waved at her innocently with a bright smile. "Amar! What are you doing under my bed?", she demanded. "A better question to ask would be, what are you doing under your bed?". "As you said it's my bed, I can sleep on top of it or under it if I want to. Get out!", she ordered. "Why should I? I was here first!". "Excuse me? This is my bed and my room! By the way, why did you say you found me? I don't remember playing hide-and-seek.", she wondered. "You ruined my plan! I was going to grab your leg, freak you out and then pull you in. Now I only have 2 chances left.", he sulked. She stared at him, astonished by his plan. She really wasn't expecting that. She would have freaked out if someone suddenly grabbed her leg from under the bed. But she felt proud of herself at the same time. "Haha! Told you I was too smart", she pretended. "Oh well, I'll get you the next time. And plan or no plan, I was going to come under your bed anyways". "Why?", she asked, suddenly suspicious. "I told you, I can't stay without you for even a minute. And I wanted to spy on you. And I wanted to check if you hide anything under your bed, like a diary or something but all I found was dust. You should clean your room you know. And I wanted to take a nap, it's quite cosy here.". He gave her yet another shock. "Are you mad?", she asked. "Yes! Madly in love with you. By the way this is a pretty good place to have our little dinners, no one can find us, full privacy here". She realised what he was thinking. "Bye!", she said quickly and began to escape. He grabbed her arm, and moved closer. "Not so fast, I want my one last friendly kiss on the lips", he demanded. He began to bring his face closer to hers, their lips a mere 1 cm apart. Intense eye lock. Few minutes later. "AAAH", they both shrieked. "What are you two doing under the bed?", Rajeev asked. They looked at each other, not knowing what to say. "Rajeev uncle, I am going to murder you some day", was Amar's answer.
