Part 7
Recap: Vidya just found out that a ladka is coming to see shalu and that shalu might be getting married.
Vidya looks at shalu is disappointment and asks her why are we going to college tomorrow if the boy is coming to see you.
Shalu looks at her mom and than turns around and walks towards her room. Vidya just looks lost she looks at chachi and her mom and than walks towards shalu's room. She opens the door of shalu's room and sees shalu sitting on the bed. Vidya walks up to shalu who looks sad and lost in her own thoughts. Vidya touches shalu's shoulder which makes shalu look back at vidya. Vidya sits next to shalu and askes shalu wy does she look so sad
Shalu: main sad bilkul bhi nahi
Vidya: shalu tum jhooth nahi bola jata and u know that. now tell me whats wrong? And why are we going to college tomorrow?
Shalu smiles to herself as if she is holding back her tears and says " hum college is liye ja rahe hain kyun kay ho sakta hai kay kal mera last day ho college mein aur phir mein kya pata kal say college chod doon kyunkay meri shaadi ho rahi hai
Vidya sees shalu's point and feels bad for shalu but tries to cheer shalu up and says "dekh shalu tu college jati rahe gi pata hai kyun?"
Shalu looks at vidya and says kyun? Vidya says "kyun kay ladke ko tu to pasand a nahi sakti is liye teri shaadi itni jaldi nahi ho gi." Shlau hits vidya with her pillow and they both laugh.
The next scene is at sagar's house
Sagar and chinu both walk in to the door when they see sagar's parents sitting in the family room. Sagar and chinu both look at each other as if they wanted to know what was up. They both walk in when sagar's dad stops them. Sagar's dad calls chinnu, he asks chinnu to come and sit next to him. Chinu comes and sits next to sagars dad and says
" jee papa"
Sagar's dad: dekho chinu beta hum nay kabhi tum mein aur sagar mein farak nahi samja, tumhe apne betay ki tarha pala hai.
Chinu looks up at thakur jee and says "mein janta hoon pap jee"
Sagar stands behind the chair chinu is sitting on and quietly watches the whole scene.
Uma: Chinu beta hum tumhe yeh btana chahte hain kay hum kal ladki walon kay ghar ja rahe hain. Dekho beta tum yeh nahi samjana kay hum tumhe majboor kar rahe hain, agar tumhe ladki na pasand aye to tum saaf saaf keh dena aur agar tum shaadi nahi karna chahte to phir bhi hume bata do.
Chinu smiles and says to uma " maa aap kyun aisa keh rahi hain, aap logo nay meray liye jo faisla liya hai woh majboori nahi hai meray liye, aap log kabhi meray liya ghalat nahi soch saktay iss liye maine ladki dekhnay kay liye haa kardi.
Sagar now says " don't worry papa ladki pasand karne ka kaam mera, agar who mujhey pasand na ayi to yeh shaadi mein kabhi nahi honay doon ga." Sagar than looks at chinu and than says "right chinu?"
Chinu stands up and says to sagar "shaadi meri aur ladki tu pasand karega, kabhi nahi. Teri pasand mein janta hoon." Every body laughs at the remark chinu made when uma says that they should be ready tomorrow evening to go to the girls house.
Next scene is in the college.
Vidya ad shalu are both walking towards the classes when shalu says to vidya that she will see vidya after the class. Vidya now goes towards the elevator because her class is on the third floor. Vidya gets in the elevator in which two girls were standing she stands in the middle of the girls. The elevator door was about to close when a hand stops it from closing and comes inside the elevator. Its sagar he walks in and stands in front of vidya, his back is towards vidya. He is standing when he suddenly realizes that he saw vidya when he entered the elevator he turns around and looks at her and says "DIVYA right?"
Vidya looks at sagar ad says " Are u talking to me" Sagar says ofcourse divya I am talking to you" Vidya looks at him and says "mera naam divya nahi vidya hai"
Sagar smiles and says same difference " I just switched d with v no harm done." As he is saying that the elevator door opens and bunch of people come in and they all are in a hurry and they start pushing and shoving. This also makes sagar shove as people have pushed sagar against vidya and vidya against the back of the elevator. Vidya now feels every inch of sagar's body pressed against hers. Sagar and vidya's faces are so close that
Their noses are almost touching. Sagar keeps staring at vidya because inside he is feeling something he has never felt before. Vidya in return just keeps staring at sagar, it was something about sagar's eyes that kept her glued to his face. The door finally opens and everybody gets out but sagar and vidya are still in the same position when Vidya totally snaps out of it and says to sagar "darwaza khul gaya" sagar snaps out of it and looks back to see and says "yeh darwaza kyun khul gaya" Vidya looks at him as she didn't hear it properly and says "kya kaha?" sagar says kuch nahi and leaves. As sagar is leaving vidya looks at herself and sees that her dupatta is missing. She panics and covers herself with her book bag and starts looking around when she gets out of the elevator she sees sagar walking and she also spots her duppatta. Apparently her dupatta is stuck in his belt. As sagar is walking he notices that everyone is staring at him but he doesn't understand why. Just than he hears a voice from back calling "oye" he smiles and thinks it has to be vidya he looks back and sees vidya coming and stops. Vidya now stops running and is trying to catch her breath when everybody stops to watch what is going on. Vidya tries to grab her duppatta out of sagar's belt and sagar knid of bends down and covers himself with both hands and says " yeh kya kahan haath laga rahi ho?" Vidya hits her head and says "chi, hum to woh" sagar says "Kya" Vidya points to his belt and says "hamara dupatta" Sagar looks down and sees the duppatta he kind of felt embarrassed because now he understood wwhy everybody was staring at him. He removes the duppatta from his belt and gives it to her and says he is sorry.
Vidya takes her duppatta when girl from far sees this and says to surili who is sitting next to her " Look surili what you boyfriend is doing?" Surili who had her face towards the other direction turns around and looks at Vidya and than sagar and looks very angry.
