Part Seven – Feelings Spilling Out?
(Think of the female tune - sa re sa reee from Kisna)

He leaned in forward, until he was just an inch away from her, and softly kissed her lower cheek, rubbing away the bit of juice stuck to it...But as if burnt, he immediately pulled away, surprise reflected in his flaming eyes...he bit his lip hard and mentally scolded himself for getting so attracted to her, it wasn't him who was supposed to be attracted, it was her….He looked over at Vidya, who had a mixture of surprise and fire burning in her eyes…

"How dare you…how dare you you…kiss me? And why are you always here? Do you like live in the forest? He looked at her, and simply said "What if I do live somewhere near by? Do you have a problem? Vidya pursed her lips, and began to walk away, eager to get away from him as soon as possible…or else all those feelings inside of her would swim in her heart again…She could feel his burning gaze follow her...

She hurried away, and didn't bother to see which way she was going, and care about her shoe getting slightly torn….until slam, she went to the ground, with a shrieking yell….She hadn't noticed the stray branch in the path since she was so lost in her thoughts, and hence she tripped over it…her ankle felt like it was burning in fire, she could feel the blood oozing out, as she struggled to get up, but she couldn't…she couldn't heave herself up, when her right ankle was throbbing so much….

Pain mixed with fear, as she wondered how she would go back to the palace, and now there was no one to help her…fear melted into sweat on her forehead, and the dust on the ground flew onto her lips…she shut her eyes in exasperation and exhausting pain…

"Are you okay?" As if life was poured back into her, she flinched when she heard the familiar sound, and relief flooded inside of her….He gently stroked her head and then slowly carried her in his arms, careful not to let her leg hit any tree…with half shut eyes, she peeped into his eyes…care and concern illuminated in his eyes, and for the first time she felt the gentle side of him…He caught her looking at him, and for a moment they both gazed at one another, and she couldn't help but let her heart beat faster, but then he shifted his gaze back up and never looked down at her the entire way….but it was so comfortable in his strong arms...and so warm…(sa re sa re e e...)
