Part Four - His story

Vidya woke up the next morning to the usual sounds of bird's singing and for the first time ordered Surili (the other cook) to bring her breakfast into her room...She then showered, and slipped on a beautiful pink salwar, she figured it would be easier to walk in, than a saree...Surili looked at her weirdly when she brought in breakfast and said "Madam your breakfast is here." And left without another word...Vidya mentally added her to the list of the mysterious people in her life..Surili always acted weirdly around her, she was stiff, and she felt like Surili's eyes followed her like a hawk in whatever she did...She hungrily devoured her breakfast, and decided not to dry her hair, since it would dry in no time in the blazing sun...

She then walked into the forest once again, feeling a slight tingle of nervousness and adventure...She now and then paused to admire some wild flowers, or unique leaves...this time she took a different path, and headed towards the right of the forest...after some time of walking, she could hear faint sounds of water rippling...it became louder and louder as she drew closer...and wow what a sight she saw when she finally reached a clearing...

In the center of it was a circular pond, with a V shaped statue in the middle posing as a fountain...on the right side of the pond was a statue of a mother and a child, which was so intricately and delicately designed, that Vidya stared at it tearfully for some time, remembering her own mother…and the care she used to shower upon her...

"You, here again Mrs. Singhania?" Vidya started at the sudden sound of the familiar stranger, she whirled around to find him without a horse this time..."Yes, I am here, do you have a problem?" He couldn't help but really want to push her out of this place, it was his place, his special place, and he didn't want anyone intruding in it, but if he wanted his plan to succeed, he had to tolerate it.."I don't have a problem, but perhaps you should ask, before you come here, considering the fact, that this property belongs to me, the Singhania's property ends at the entrance of this forest, and mine begins at the entrance of this forest.." She frowned unhappily, "fine, I won't step foot in this forest again.." There again, that intense look of his made her uneasy, it made an unwanted jolt inside of her..that she didn't like...or perhaps didn't want to like...

He plucked his fingers into his pockets 'If that's how you want it" and he began to turn around, she pursed her lips angrily "ok, so this forest is my only source of entertainment, and..and.." He turned back and looked at her cynically, that sarcastic twinkle back in his eyes again "And what Mrs. Singhania?" Vidya flinched at the numerous mentions of her legal name now, "First of all please don't call my Mrs. Singhania, call me anything but that and ok, so I plead with you to let me come and go in this forest.." "

If you insist, sure you can come here anytime, and as for the name, I'll call you Vidi.." Vidya clenched her teeth "Not vidi, vidi is for people I care about.." He walked closer to her, and she felt a little intimidated by him..."Vidi or Mrs. Singhania.." She grumpily sat on the ponds edge, eager to get away from him, since he made her feel strange...He smiled...She looked up at him again, and stopped him from going "By the way, you never introduced yourself.." He turned back and said "The only thing I will tell you is my name is Sagar.."

I KNOW!!! i was out laughing for a minute when i read that surili was the other cook!!!! my mum was staring at me wierdly too... 😆 😳

Soni ji..!! HAILA..............!!!!! You are SO amazing, yaar..!! Sachi, it sounds so much like a novel, you are SUCH a good writer..!! 👏

This is so different than everything else... it's almost like a story, and completely different, Vidya is "Vidya SInghania", and I LOVED the part that Surily is a cook (the other cook) who calls her "madam".... yes..!!! 😆 😉

Yaar you left us in suspense... Oh God, please keep going on..!! You stopped when he said his name was Sagar oh nooooooo..!!

Hope we get to know more about their past.... it's too interesting 😉

Only thing I have to get used to is that all dialogues are not in Hindi.😉 Am so used to everything being in Hindi..!! so that's the only thing.... but the whole FF is greatttttt😃
