Now what was the point of lying to Ganga? Is this such a small thing that it can be kept hidden for any length of time?
He will need treatment, chemotherapy or some strong medicines which will most likely make him vomit a lot - these medicines are not benign like saanchi's meds which can just be easily added in juice or milk - anti-cancer drugs have a lot of devastating side-effects that cant be concealed.

Seriously, i dont understand what Jagya was thinking yes it will hurt her and alarm her, but still... shouldnt she know?? and wouldnt she find out eventually?

I think J himself was in shock and was shattered regarding the news so may be it was not so easy to tell G everything upfront,
He probably hasn't thought as far as treatment is concerned. He is probably waiting for second opinion and confirmation and somewhere hoping that Mannu is indeed fine.

I would give him a benefit of doubt here, His intent is not to lie but he is rather in a shock and living in a false hope that all is well. Hence he decided to keep G away from the entire issue.

But sooner or later he will tell, when he himself is in a position to digest the news.

I think Jagya himself is in a state of denial.
Probably after meeting the oncologist he was planning to tell her.
But he should not have told her the tests are normal. He could have just said that they need to repeat the tests.

It was more of a denial than a lie.
But TV leads mostly lie in such conditions to 'save' others from trauma.

It sounds too scary to imagine such a thing happening to mannu who is just a toddler . Usually when such things happen in life, the stronger person takes time to digest the truth and reveals it at the right time to the other person. He'd probably tell her once thetreatment starts...when her support too is needed in this.
