They did not show Ganga's rape. The "good" girls - Anandi, Asha and Ganga all were 'saved'. Even Sanchi was 'saved' once. But I liked the way Ganga was shown to save herself - that track could have been better, but still it was good because she herself fought the attacker. What message they want to give with current track will be clear after a few episode only - let us wait and watch (or read updates only).

They clearly showed a frightened young child bride sitting with her knees held tightly to her stomach when Ratan Singh entered for suhaag raat

then they showed glimpses of Ratan Singh forcing himself on her when she recounted her story

same way Saanchi's date rape was shown with Saurabh bending over her and she being unconscious

so ...on what basis is it being said that Ganga's rape was not shown

its a family soap , they will never show details

even in Saanchi's rape , neither were her clothes even tossed on the floor shown nor were Saurabh's clothes tossed aside shown , that clean they r in picturisation as it is family soap

there r no good girls or bad girls at all according to urban and rural classification partiality

Jagya when he did wrong deeds was rural

Sumitra , a rural woman accused Ganga that rape was her fault as she was a seductress

Saanchi an urban girl accused the same thing

Choti maa , a 'good' woman is city bred

so is Payal

on the other hand we have Ankita

Dadisa has done many bad deeds in her days , in rural setting

so i honestly dunno where this is even coming from

they only show types everywhere thats all

if there is Bhairo that side

there is Anoop here

And why assume that Saanchi will not be 'saved'

then what role will Anandi have

Anandi has role of saviour of this serial , this whole Saanchi trauma is to show her being 'saved' by Anandi and Shiv . Its that predictable .

BV propagates patriarchy and patriarchal people do not recognise marital rape. Ganga and Gahna go through marital rape and it is not even considered rape by the society - the wife even if she is just a child has to go through this with society's approval. Therefore I said- they did not show Ganga's rape - she saved herself from Bala. But they did show Jagya's herogiri there in catching the culprit - in serials they always show leads like this - so no use accusing only Anandi.

But who is remotely accusing Anandi ?

and omg , Ganga's rape is not rape according to BV standards ? and Jagya did 'herogiri' in saving Ganga ? And what about saving Saanchi? And what will Shiv do now for his sister , no herogiri ?

All the leads get to do herogiri from time to time - that is what I wanted to say. And leave alone society (or BV), even Indian Law does not recognise marital rape.

and some one please tell me what is definition of rape? if what happened with Ganga is not rape ?Who gave legal tag to a 13 year old girl 's marriage is marriage? So Ratan Singh physically assaulting a 13 year old girl is not rape in legal terminology ? i am shocked😲 and what is city , village , good girl bad girl here Rape equation is same for any girl Physical assault be a husband doing to his wife is rape?

and i am also confused with hero giri logic Every fiction writing in the world has protagonist through which writer convey a message to world , who acts as a role model if Jagya saved Ganga and Sanchi then isn't that good message send to men respect women and help them if possible so why cvs are criticized they showed Jagya's hero giri ?

Physical assault on any woman be it city or village is wrong A husband assaulting his wife comes also in same equation One simply cannot leave it by saying O Sanchi's so called true love raped her so it is rape while Ganga was saved from Bala and since Ratan was her husband so what he did with her is not rape The women like Ganga have faced the most worst fate in her past Day and night assaulting a 13 year old girl is heights of cruelty if the so called law does not hold it in same equation of rape then all i will say shame on such law makers 👎🏼

It is a sad reality - society does not think it (what happened to Ganga and also Gahna) as rape - even Indian law does not recognise marital rape. There is no shame/badnami involved in this - even when there is a lot of physical and mental trauma. As per society - rape can be done by 'other' men - what husband does is not rape. I thought everybody (who belongs to India) know this.

What happened to Ganga in her marriage with Ratan and what happened to Gehna after her marriage to Basant are actually rape but legally it does not come under rape.

What happened to Sanchi is rape in actuality as well as legally.

Ratan's offence comes under child marriage

What Basant did to Gehna does not come under rape according to Indian Law

Section 375 in The Indian Penal Code, 1860

375. Rape.-- A man is said to commit" rape" who, except in the case hereinafter excepted, has sexual intercourse with a woman under circumstances falling under any of the six following descriptions:- First.- Against her will. Secondly.- Without her consent. Thirdly.- With her consent, when her consent has been obtained by putting her or any person in whom she is interested in fear of death or of hurt. Fourthly.- With her consent, when the man knows that he is not her husband, and that her consent is given because she believes that he is another man to whom she is or believes herself to be lawfully married. Fifthly.- With her consent, when, at the time of giving such consent, by reason of unsoundness of mind or intoxication or the administration by him personally or through another of any stupefying or unwholesome substance, she is unable to understand the nature and consequences of that to which she gives consent. Sixthly.- With or without her consent, when she is under sixteen years of age. Explanation.- Penetration is sufficient to constitute the sexual intercourse necessary to the offence of rape. Exception.- Sexual intercourse by a man with his own wife, the wife not being under fifteen years of age, is not rape.

Thing is that Ratan and Ganga marriage is legally married just like Jagya and Anandi marriage was even though they were married off in childhood they continued with their married status even after they are past minority stage.So Ganga's marriage became legal.

Had Ratan been reported at the time of his marriage to Ganga he would have been punished for both Rape and child marriage.But he escaped his punishment because nobody reported him at that time.
