IAS officers cannot function honestly due to politicans' intereference and that has made IAS less attractive. Even in the army there are lots of things going where junior officers are harassed by seniors and make life hell for them. thus even army has lost brilliant youngsters.
And the attraction of settling down in a foreign country also makes many to opt for technical education which has demand.
A bank clerk enjoys life more than these high status officers. They always have damocles's sword hanging over them.

Becoming an IAS officer is still a pride in our country and considered the number one profession still in our country.

I disagree tinoo. When someone uses privilege position to bring sense into others, it is welcome.

Leavesandwaves, I would have appreciated it if anandi had by now developed HER OWN privilege and position instead of riding piggyback on the coat-tails of her husband's position and using her married surname as a prop to bring sense into others.

He married her because he fell in love with her spirit and her progressive thoughts and her values and principles.

thats what I am saying shiv married anandi not beacuse she will handle his looney family but he loves her for her spirit and her principles. Nor that she will repair his family or his silly sister.

I think people should not generalise. There are good and bad people in every profession. No profession - doctor/engineer/IAS etc. can be said to be superior to other - we need doctors, we need engineers and we need Administrative officers etc. to run the country. Already creatives are generalizing the population by showing everything related to village (family/girls etc.) are good compared to their city counterpart, so at least we in forum should not generalise.

Thts why I did not like anandi so called NGO. I preferred her as a sarpanch and doing some really meaningful work. Cvs failed badly in showing a proper NGO with people working for various causes and a proper office which anandi daily attends. Mostly she is attending saanchi or going to BH.😆

Sheets why are you surprised. Anandi has always used Shiv or his name. And we do not expect Anandi to do shiv jaap 24/7, gosh she some how manage to
romance her husband once in a while.
She is a MaHaan maata so she has the right to do anything she likes and
bear the tag of ''Jagat Maata"":
Very soon I would like to see her living her in a baal vivah ashram.

True every profession has its own importance and there are both good and bad people.

Atleast she is doing that for a good cause.

I think attributing some motives shows extreme bias.

Where did she use her husband's name? it is the hospital person who recognised her. She wanted to go about as a common person. Why do you want to be selective?

Fact is a fact whether we generalise it or not.

It is the undereducated politicians, some of them with criminal records who are running the country and all the others are puppets.
