This is how i see it
She may not be doing it intentionally
but the bottom line is ...she IS supporting evil .
It may be unknowingly .
It may be conveniently bcoz of sasural pressure .
But the bottom line is she IS supporting wrong .
Where she went wrong
in NOT telling the Singhs that Saanchi proposal is coming tp ur doorstep , refuse the girl , absolutely unsuitable for ur household . Forget Jagya here , she was unsuitable for the whole house . At that point Anandi was more clear eyesd in her vision of Saanchi . She saw what the others could not see .
But she did NOTHING .
Now there may be an argument about how
she should do something as its not her business etc
but it falsifies . She HAD convinced Jagya to stand in the marraige market .
She DID have a talk with Jagya and told him how her nanand's expectations from a fiancee were natural and how he MUST maintain a distance from Ganga .
So u see , she is very much ivolved in this matter . She HAS made it her business , like it or not .
So her warning SHOULD have come . No , it did not , instead wrong signals came .
In this whole Saanchi track , we only saw Anandi the Shekhar bahu looking out for the Shekhars . We did not see the Singh beti as she claims to be looking out for THEM .
Her nanand is thoroughly unsuitable for that house yet she is fine with her going there
Sure , the Shekhars will be happy but the Singhs ?
Anandi has switched loyalties with her marraige .
And so , it hi time she is told to butt out .
She will open her eyes when pundit tells her or when she overhears Saanchi telling friends ...
please .
She HAS overheard once , what did she do about it ?
Nothing .
But this time Jagya is there with her . The same Jagya whom she lectured to by taking nanand's side . So u see now she will be FORCED to take a stand and not sit happily smiling on the fence . She is caught , poor thing .
I see no smartness in supporting spoilt evil girls . It reflects poorly on her . But then that is my view .
In the Mahabharata , all good kings supported Duryodhana . Out of helplessness , but they did . Krishna said they were STILL wrong . Coz the bottom line was , they were supporting evil .
Same with Anandi .
