@ aprnauma I think I have read your thread about a 6 year girl being raped. How can we prove self defence is good in that case. Self defence is not bad but there should be strong law against it and there should be fear of the law. There should be change in the mentality who are on government. The main problem is they defence themselves and shows the finger on girl, they shouldn't have done that and that...not alone on bus, not that dress that's sick. There should be more education programs for boys as well, why this is so hard?? Law makers and the society should make a situation where the life of the rapist would be hell not the victim's.
There should be enforcement of the strong law and the fear of the law.Self defence can't cover all the women but Law has the power to cover all.

And as u said self-defence is just hit and trial.But we dont need a hit n trial.We need a full proof solution.And though changing mindsets takes time enforcing laws doesnt.Would take lesser time than training millions of girls in martial arts.Just imagine if a rapists has fear in his mind that if he tries to rape a women he will be made to rot in jail whole life or he will be given death sentence obviously he will think 100 times before doing anything like this.If BV really has guts they shud show Anandi and Shiv taking a protest march against court not giving quick judgement in such cases.Shiv's sister was molested but he has forgotton that case.Its obvious BV wants to create an impression they are supporting social causes jabki they r not adressing the real issue.

self defence for women is very necessary because there r time when nobody can help u or dont want 2 help u .instead of keep hoping someone will come and help u self defence idea for women is marvelous

Surabhi definitely selfdefence is a good thingh, but now when we want an axplanation from goverment, law and sociaty that why they cant provide sefty to girls why a rapist can easyly scaped from our law, talking about selfdefenc of women is not a mockery, I will dislike if Ganga also giving bhashan of selfdefence on this rape issu,
