IMO, the bottom line is that no blanket decree or request can dictate that the use of the word 'Mistress' is against women in general because of history, movies, examples of victims etc. Why should this excuse/reason grant absolution to very real culprits?

Mistress is what gawari earned on her own. She put her sewat and blood in earning that name. No woman would like to talk ill or call another woman, fictional or real , ill names. She is called so because she earned it. Now one rubbed it on that freak's nose.

Coming to what jagat is called, hell lot of names and even more derogatory words are used for him. No one here treats him or feels good for him. slimeball, pi*p, wh***monger,freak,lunatic are just few to quote what he is called.

It's just gawari who started plotting, scheming, two toungue nature, yelling, insulting, filling ears... oh girl! give us a break!! She is not even eager to remove her mistress tag then why are some people feeling bad for her. Words are beeped in IF or i wud have said something i really think abt the couple.

yea there is a difference between prostitution , forced sex workers and gauri but i still feel even if she is a mistress why do we have to use th word. it makes me or maybe us more immune to the usage of strong words like these. if someone like gauri exists in real life, we wud be one of the ones abusing her behind her back or on her face, which she doesnt deserve alone.

Sorry didn't get the last part of what you said... If someone like Gauri exists in the real world, yes I would probably abuse her to the face. But I would also abuse Jagya to the face as a cheater, bigamist, adulterer, slimeball, parasite, etc. No one said Gauri deserves to be abused alone. On this forum people applaud every time Jagya gets slapped or insulted, so why can't we similarly use the terminologically correct word for Gauri and her actions?
