Of course it was a gesture of relief ! It was as if her worst fears had departed. She felt Divine.

Her first kiss.
Her first True Love.
Her first Surrender.

I am with you...it was her helplessness in love and fear of rejection and losing Ram forever.

i agree with u totaly...it saw her helplessness...as she dont want to hear again compromise for their maraige...so she feel it is better not to listen anything...

I don't think Priya is afraid of hearing that Ram loves her-far from it.

Like many of the prior posts on this thread, I too think that it is the fear of being hurt more -not wanting to hear Ram confirm her fears (that he cares about her but does not LOVE her like she does him) is what kept her from giving him a chance to speak.

What I DO like (VERY MUCH!) about this serial though is that for the MOST part, the events are close to what often happens in real life. Each person's insecurities and misunderstandings are very accurately depicted. The fear of rejection, of being hurt often makes us do/say things that we might not otherwise have said/done. Out of hurt, we often say things we regret later on and that part is very well captured in the episodes over the past few days. For that, I do think the CVs deserve some credit.

Would be interesting to know how folks on this forum interpret that one tear Priya shed when Ram kissed her.
  1. Was it an expression of relief that overcame her when his kiss confirmed what he felt about her? OR
  2. Was it an expression of sadness that Ram responded by a gesture of physical intimacy rather than reassuring her in ways that might perhaps have been more comforting to her?

i totaly agree with u...balh saw so realistic thing 7 scene & dailoge...as in reality also when we anger do what we dont want to do...priya's situation was truly so real...so as ram also...

Lalitha great post 👏👏👏Communication is such a complex thing yaar...To be on the same page is so difficult...Fear of rejection can really cripple a person so much that he/she fails to read the body language and blocks every response with counter allegations.Think it's Priya's situation.
