Why did Priya not allow him to speak?

Yes Lalita, could be, may be she is scared of his rejection. I feel for Ram, I really wish she will not get angry after that beautiful kiss, she needs to give him a chance to speak. I really want Ram to comfort her, tell her how much he loves her.

I am with you...it was her helplessness in love and fear of rejection and losing Ram forever.

yes coz she says oh ,to appke liye wo sab appka farz tha when he talks abt duty that is what is makin her angry that is why she is not listening to him.

As she really had a tough day right from the begining 1st fight with ram and after confesshng her love no reaction of ram .2nd the wardrobe malfunction and ram taking his sis side and making her feel as she doesn't belong to his family. Making her worst fear of rejection true.

Thought about it for long...and what I think is...

Priya is really and truly scared that Ram will turn around and tell her... that he really cares a lot of her...and hence took so much care of her during her BC scare also...and he thinks she's a very wise person...and he really really values her friendship...and also values her ideals, her love for her family, her way of living etc etc etc...

..BUT...BUT he doesn't "LOVE" her...


After he refused to say a single word when she openly asked him to confess his feelings for her (after her long and emotional outburst when she poured out his innermost thoughts for him) she may be thinking that Ram Kapoor does not really "love" her per se...

And that is why ...because she doesn't want Ram to say it and have her worst fears come true, she's refusing to allow him to clarify his take on their relationship. Till the time Ram doesnt actually say, she can still keep on hoping...

And I actually think it makes sense... what do you'll think?

According to my thinking, fear of rejection is far more emotionally draining than any other fear. even fear of death. coz we get emotionally dependent on that particular person. its actually fear of not being loved. and as it is their first love ( i dont consider that her affair with Ashwin was true love. i consider it to be arrangement and real compromise ) its obvious that what if he doesn't even reciprocate my feelings coz i need to live with him all my life. that really hurts rather than being rejected. the fear of seeing him every moment of life and having that hope of being loved by the one u love.
