Priya Kapoor is indeed afraid and scared of rejection and hence she lived in denial for 3 weeks post realization!! The only person she confided first was the one whom no one in either KM Or Sharma household would evn have any contact with!

But Obviously ! Isn't that something any "strong willed" capable of independent thinking would do? I'm not talking about people who have the capability to open up their personal lives to any Tom, Dick and Harry in their lives. In my case, if I had to share a personal secret of my life, I would ensure I did it with an outsider...whom I admired and respected...so that in case anything incorrect happened, there would not be any question of any pity from anyone. That is the most natural thing to do, in my opinion.

To make a 21st century strong woman who has the guts to stand up in front of her husband to give bhashan and inorder to try making the show so different from the typical saas bahus, the CV's gladly butchered the very nature of Priya Kapoor!! They had one shot of a monologue for portraying the strong woman and had 10 mins to fill!! The rest is history!

Dont agree at all. Priya's character butchered? Why? I don't think there was a single wrong thing in her entire dialogue! Plus, did Priya ask Ram not to speak up and make it a monologue? Or did the CVs butcher his character in showing him incapable of responding to such an emotional speech?

In fact, i don't think the Cvs butchered Ram's character also in showing him incapable of responsding to Priya. Hey, its a serial..and it makes sense delaying his confession and showing the buildup to a climax..thats all ! Why can we just accept it in that manner? 😭 😭 😭

As far as I'm concerned, CVs cannot butcher neither Golu's character nor Priya's... man,we love them so much that anything they do is ok with us.

I've heard so many peopel critisizing Ram's attire on the corporate party day..saying he looked like a whale in front on Ronit. So what? He's our Golu...we love him for his innocent face and those expressions we can drool over..so what if they gave him ill fitting clothes on one day?

All that I notice every little thing abt u.. I love your sweat.. I love your karate.. I love every little thing abt you. I know you inside out and my love is my strength. I want to die seeing your face.. And all tht BS they came up with those contradiction adding the man to be blamed for his ego, head full of ghee and scared of rejection.. Phew.. I dont think you can decide on anyone else's behalf whether a certain part is crap or not...

If there's someone who's to be blamed its the CV's and dialogue writers to failed to use the beautiful moment to capitalize and prove the point home to be a strong woman and yet tender at heart. Who listens and cares and will not fail to stand up for her self respect.. But they let it all go by going overboard..

If there's someone who's really scared of rejection.. It's Priya Kapoor!! She was not ready to accept another Ashwin love fiasco.. Another love lost.. But to prove Ram wrong for pointing out tht she considered him unfit and hence looked at another man, she gave all the dialogues in the world to prove she was right..Not she was in love and expected.. but just to prove the man wrong!

I couldn't actually make sense of this last part...? 😭 😭

I'm still in the same boat... where I can't stand anything against Ram or Priya... so I guess I will continue with the way I am... loving RaYa and accepting anything they say and anything they do... even in those days when Ram was in a shouting spree..treating Priya like dirt...in the post Apeksha scenes...even then I didn't think the CVs butchered Ram's character... even in scenes where Ram leaves his entire office to Sid and walsk off to spend time with Priya (can anyone imagine India 3rd ranked businessman leaving his empire to a person he knows is capable of stealing and whom he would'nt want to work with inhis office...) and in all these scenes where they show a total mismatch of Ram with a successful businessman...I never think Ram has been butchered...cause end of the day, its a love story..on TV..and we want to see a cute ending... I want to see Ram & priya have cute scenes, hold hands, kiss, fight, make up...and bring down the 3 idiots...

But I want them to maintain the characterization and not get down to tricks for TRP's . They have abundant talent. I respect the leads equally! SO it's not abt criticism for an actor here. I like to place my opinion once in a while when Iam really disappointed. since for most parts, I take an optimistic view.. Now.. please don't take tht from me.
