Drapaudi and drishtdyum

Mb text s talks about birth of drapaudi and drishtdyum from the holy fire of yagya conducted by drapaud to obtain a son who can take his revenge from drona. But that s symbolic because birth from fire is humanly not possible. My question is why was this theory used instead simply stating that drapaud adopted them ?? What is the reason that their past was completely wipec out ? .

If he wanted a son and Draupadi was adopted, why would he adopt a girl? He can see, it's not a Son, so I don't believe he adopted her.

Draupadi was born normally to Draupad's wife, She was the female protagonist of the story, male protagonists got to be Lord Krushna, Pandavas being born from other deities, so they gave Draupadi a divine story to match up with other protagonists

Pandavas were born through niyog. I don't buy that durvasa boon Theory.

Neither do I

I am just saying they gave Draupadi this arc of being born out of fire to compensate for divinity angle of her husbands and Krushna, most likely she was born normally and was a twin

I think she was just born to Drupad normally from his fire of revenge. 😆

I am saying that there was no divinity involved neither in pandavas s birth nor drapaudi and drishtdyum s birth. They were conceived how normal babies are conceived. Pandavas were born by niyog maybe with sages like ved vyas in pandu s case . Though i doubt drapaudi and drishtdyum were drapaud s children if they were why this adoption theory. Born out of fire and stuff. Their past is another unsolved mystery of Mahabharata.

Why would he adopt children when he could have it themselves. Is there any evidence that hints Drupad was impotent or his Queen was unable to give birth? I don't think so.

Hence, I do not think there is any reason to think Drupad had adopted.

Had she been born due to the BOON of some God, i would have said surrogacy or adoption because that's what happened to the Pandavas. Each time there was niyog and each of them were born to Kunti, and these gods are either other names for the known characters (Vidur for Dharma ie Yudhishthir) or the theory of Indra or Shakra, a foreign king.

However in case of Draupadi, it is only said she was born of fire. Now technically, that doesn't really say she was adopted unless u consider her coming to Drupad as a grown up girl is truth. I don't think that is, highly feel it's later interpolation.

How much time passed between war with drapaud and lakshagrah because pandavas heard about birth of drishtdyum and drapaudi while they were roaming in forest after lac house incident. So for how long were they roaming 18/19 years ???

Or were these two already born at the time of the war and their life only got a new purpose when drapaud swore vengeance ??

@captainstark need for this fire born theory ?? That too specially for drapaudi and drishtdyum ? When drapaud dud had other normally born sons ??

I personally believe they were both born of affairs within the castle but were still Drupad's kids. I guess he would have hushed up their natural birth for obvious reasons and continued to educate them behind closed doors.

Once it became clear they were in fact worthy of taking revenge/carrying an alliance, Drupad arranged this yagya thing and officiated their existence. 😳
