Mahabharata mein bahut khuch hua tha but use tv mein less dikhaya gaya

I am not saying that they showed everything on television

I am asking you from the reference from Mahabharata epic. But instead you are quoting some blogs which are filled with references from folklores

I don't have Mahabharata book in my home as we don't allow to keep it

But in link they are giving exact number of birth that when bhishm committed sin they said bhishm committed sin at 73 rd birth

So when they are given exact number of birth of bhishm when he has committed sin that means thorns story is true

Any historic text is verified by numerical data if no date no numerical data I s given that means text is not verified

In history numerical data is very important to proove it's validity

Like they said Mahabharata fought for 18 days there is numerical data for Mahabharata hence it is verified

Wow that quote said all I wanted to say, he was the best king Hastinapur could have got and when he decided not to get it, the universe made plans to ensure he ruled over the state if not directly then indirectly.

Are you sure about Chitrangad being the elder? Will have to check that then.

About Gandhar threat, even the sources which say that Ghadhar Naresh happily accepted the proposal say that the tone of Bheeshm while seeking the alliance was threatening

Yeah I'm sure about Chitrangad being the elder sibling.

Not sure about the threatening tone. It might have been imposing due to the kingdom and Bhishma's stature.

I have all the books. They belong to my grandfather to be precise.

I've never come across the 73rd birth reference. The only explanation is that it's a folklore because the cursed Vasus didn't take 73 births.

Numerical data matters but it doesn't put a stamp of approval. 73 is a mere number.

73rd birth is written does no where mean it is true.

I can write anything mentioning 54th birth that wouldn't make it reliable. Plus Bheeshm being born 72 times isn't referenced anywhere either.

Coming to not having the book the entire book is available online and those who wrote this article have not mentioned the source either. Although they have quoted verses for many things in the article but not for the actual point they were making. That in think explains everything

Then how can it poove it is folk fore

And speaking trees is reliable site it never give fake information and quora is also reliable site

Even quora says draupadi never call duryodhan call blind son of blind king and it's is true that draupadi never call such thing

And when all link giving same number of birth when bhishm committed sin then how it is fake information

U can test all this whether all this reliable site or not by searching other things and see whether these site given reliable answer or not

And I have heard about thorns story from old people
