unfortunately, I dont know to write poetry in English and I enjoy writing poetry in Hindi... so I will probably stick to that...

Another one On Simran....

Ek nanhi kali aayi unke ghar..,
Unke ghar roshni liye, kushi liye
Palkhon me pali yeh kushi…
Apne papa ke aankh ka tara bani ….
Woh jaise koi aur nahi…
Sab ke aankh ka tara thi…..

Nanhi si woh phool, bani badi woh…
Papa ke kahe sune pe Doctor bani woh…
Woh jaise koi aur nahi…
Sab ke chahithe thi woh…..

Apne kaam mein magan thi woh…
Dhalthe suraj kaa abhaas na thaa…
Waqt kuch aise guzra ki…
Choti behene badi ho gayi…

Tab jaake usse yeh ehsaas hua…
Waqt mujhe kahan le chala…
Badi kab hui… yeh maloom nahi tha…
Jawani kab aayi… kab chod gayi… yeh pata hi nahi chala…

Afsoos usse na tha.. woh tho sabki ladli thi….
Par kahin man mein yeh eshaas tho thaa…
Waqt mujhe kahan le chala…
Waqt mujhe kahan le jaayega…

Isi justujooo mein.. isi kashmakash mein usse mila ek naujawan…
Pyaara tha.. Bhola saa… Man ka saaf… aur masoom sa thaa…
Apne khoye jawani ki yaad aayi usse…
Pyaar mein padi woh uss naujawan see…
Shaadki kar baithi woh uss naujawan see…

Samaj bhooj aur bachpsne mein hui takraar…
Simran hari Abhi ke saamne…
Pyaar ko na samjha Abhi…
Simran ko chod.. pyaar ki talaash mein bhatak gaya woh….

Misaal ban baithi Simran… sab ke liye..
Har papa yehi kahe.. meri beti Simran jaisi bane.
Kaash woh Simran ke man ki baath jaane..
Akeli thi Simran.. duniya se ladthe thaki thi Simran…
Par chehre pe na thaa koi gham…
Na aankhon mein koi ansoon…
Apni kushi baathi sabse woh….
Gham ka hissedaar bana na koi…
Jo aaye.. chale gaye…
Akeli reh gayi woh…. Nanhi phool…

Aaj zindigi ke safar se thaki Simran..
Shayad jeeven ke is saanh mein Simran…
Mili woh phir se Abhi se….
Shakal Surat thi wohi… par seerat woh na tha…
Yeh Abhi tho bilkul uske man ka raajkumar tha…
Pyaar mein phir kho gayi Simran…
Ab na duniya ka dar na Samaj ka…
Par Kismat ko shayad hi manzoor inka milan…
Aayi wahan unke beti Aastha…

Jeeven ki saanjh mein mila yeh pyaar…
Kya simran ko dega yeh usse uska pyaar…
Kya pyaar mein Milan zaroori hi hai…
Kya nadiya ke kinare kab mil hi payenge…
Isi sawaal ke jawab ke liye bhatki Simran…
Jeevan ke is saanjh mein Simran…
Phir se bhatak rahi woh Simran…

Par aaj bhi uske papa yehi kehthe hain…
Simran jaise koi nahin

we've had all these wonderful poems here but i just wondered whether anyone knew what the words to the astitva title song were AND what the meaning is?

If anyone is able to provide the words and the words, then that would be just great...

"Chunli hei manzilen..ab zindagi..mere faisley...mere hosley...chaahe jaise aazmaaye..jitna bhi uljhaaye ab inn..rishton mein..naaton mein..rasmon ki iss anggan mein...mujhko tho apne hi..astitva ka daaman thaamey..chalte jana hei..chalte jana hei..astitva ka daaman thaamey..astitva ka daaman thaamey"

And it means something like this:

"I have chosen my destination ,dear life...
All my decisions..and my courage..(will not wither)
No matter how you entangle me with all the relationships and the bondage of traditions..(i will not succumb)...
For i have chosen to hold on to my Astitva(Individuality)..and move ahead in with life...."

I am sorry if i have made mistakes here and there,i tried my best in translating it...pls excuse and correct me if i am wrong... 😛
