BB talks to Anupama and makes Mrs. Mehta apologize as well, saying that Anu's bapuji faced such humiliation in BB's house, at BB's party and that's not acceptable! BB backtracks to save her skin and says please all lets eat together. Bapuji accept her apology

Anu/Anuj - AB/BB step away and talk - Anuj says his moral compass is Anu and she will always side for the good, and will always standup, for that matter she'll even stand up for BB if need be, she is family-oriented and will do anything for family. he/and apologizes for all the argument and so to AB/BB and go to check on food.

AB/BB discuss that Anupama is no meek woman, she is as strong as it gets.

Shah family leaves without eating, and Vanraj heeds a warning to Anuj about the new family - Anupama is crying and sad that they left. Talking to anuj that everyone must be eating milk/bread! (little dramatic)

AB/BB glad to get rid of the 'ajeeb' family.

They both discuss that living in a joint family, Anu wants it all maika and sarural, wants everyone to live together - mahan devi syndrome -

Anuj on the other hand states that he can purchase another bungalow for AB/BB close by but Anu declines that proposition.

BB comes fuming to the room where Adhik/AB are sitting - she complains that the media covered only Anupama at the party, that they are all behind her - AB says she only had her family as guests everyone else was kapadia guest, and she is still fuming that Anupama stole the limelight - fearing that Sara/Adhik will be left behind.

AB goes to say that if BB had good relations with her maika then they would also be there today, this is a dukhti raag for BB it seems, she reminds AB that her brother kicked them out and they don't have any relations.

AB is happy that Anu wants to keep everyone together and move ahead in life - he reminds BB that she was the one who spoilt relations with his parents as well. Ask's AB to not put the 'homebreaker' tab on her head

Anu-Anuj are very good, stop making them our enemy. AB storms out - Adhik/BB talk - that anupama is not stupid, BB ends by saying anu is like my heel, can't avoid and can't deal with it, but she will deal at the right time.

Back at Shah house -Kavya finds the cufflink box - Vanraj says he could not give it to Anuj citing that everything was so expensive even the carpets screamed money. Kavya ensures that Anuj doesn't care about money but rather the sentiment and hopes V is happy for anu/anuj to which he says he is happy for them.

Anuj says it is best to say apart, family don't have to split just live a few houses apart, Anupama is adamant they all stay together, he does not want her to have a bad day ever in this house like in Shah house, due to any taunts and for her to just take it - as he foresees this happening - She assures she has changed, she has him with her and will never relive a single day from her past life in this house - She tells Anuj to not tell anything to AB/BB, says they'll make it work - she is hell-bent on everyone staying together - says it's a process and is ready to climb this mountain but this time she will make her family but not at the expense of her love or respect.

Precap: Pakhi is adamant to live 1/2 the time with her mom! Samar thinks is because of the fact that mom is rich now! Mr. Shah is upset at Pakhi.

Shahi ke shahs jaise joint family nahi hote re sabki... Itna ajeeb saa parivaar Or equation bhi nahi hote... Normal life mai joint families much more sorted hoti hai..😊

That's fantastic 😍 and goes back to same point that you all have separate kitchens, and living areas. So happy that you had an amazing experience as a joint family.

I have seen such many joint families here in US and in India where families live in apts on same floor, or amne same, upar niche, few doors down. In these situations kitchens are separate, so it's not like the traditional joint family but somewhere in-between. Yes privacy is absent as everyone is in each other's lives and like they say "bartan honge to aavaz to karenge" there are bound to be differences, on the other hand, yes, you won't need anyone else to enjoy festivals/special occasions.

If ppl can make it work it's great, like you mentioned it has pros and cons, and totally depends on compromise from everyone. In anupama's case it was a nightmare.

As far as the show goes I see Anuj's point of view, there is no harm in living right across or home in the same society/even compound, family kitchens are separate. Anupma's joint family experience for the past 26yrs has been an extremely poor example of family togetherness - she made all the compromises and she was treated as a doormat and unpaid slave, why would Anuj want her to go thru the same - where she has to make sacrifices, considering he sees glimpses with ab/bb, of things not working out?

As we saw from precap - now whose kitchen is it? Anupamaa is getting ready to setup, because each wants their wish! There has to be a leader or matriarch/patriarch to lead the family

Also finances play a big part, technically Anuj/Anu are paying for the home, and running of the home, so its their home. Unless and until AB/BB contribute their share they have no say, simple.

Anyways serial hai, logic Kahn se dhondna is mein. If I was looking for logic I would've stopped watching when Anupamaa moves back to the Shahs after divorce 🤦🏻

Looking for escapism, and here only for Anuj, and fan girling him, never seen a male lead like him. Hanging on to this thin shreds of MaAn scenes, waiting for more.

That’s where the power paradox begins, which is that very sense of ourselves when feeling powerful leads to our demise, leads to the abuse of power. B micromanaging, not asking for inputs from others, solo decision making and promotion of her guests and abuse power on others.
