Vanraj real problem with Anuj

I feel vanraj ki real problem Anuj se isliye nhi hai ki he gave partnership anu but he can't stand Anuj having soft corner for Anu.

He think he did huge ehsaan by marrying anu & tolerating her 25 yrs ( jabki ulta case hai ) no one will like anu as she just a housewife as he blamed Anu only 4 his ema . Later he don't want to go with divorce but anu stated stubborn , he feels he possess Anupama who don't deserve respect.

Any other man in Anu's life will not liked by vanraj earlier also he got irked by Anuj"s name .

Now he saw Anuj is not only handsome but a successful business tycoon who successful from him , single & doing everything for anu which he never did like gifting ghungroo , opening door for her , dancing with her etc.

How can vanraj tolerate anu getting all those thing which vanraj thought Anu don't deserve & he fear if Anuj keep doing these things Anu will slip from his hands .

So he is trying to do everything to keep anu away from Anuj .

Oh yes! Anu is his "property", his "play toy" and what gives him his "man-liness", so he can't afford her understanding she is a human being, an individual who has enough skills and talent to not only command respect but actually earn it. Other women like Kinjal are allowed to respect her and idolise her since Kinjal is the DIL and is supposed to be like Anu, but anyone powerful or successful, and top-it-all, better than him (since he is supposed to be the best) is not allowed to respect her or even treat her like a human being. His problem with Anuj is that he actually looks at Anu with affection, something which she doesn't deserve according to him.

Plus, if Anu becomes independent, who will be the free maid of the house who will tolerate Baa's misbehaviour, his orders, and his Toshu and Pakhi's insults.

Vanraj thinks he owns Anu like a slave and despite her reminding him that he is no longer her husband he feels it’s his job to exercise his rights on Anupama.

Anu venting at them didn’t make an iota of difference in their attitudes they all stomped back to their rooms without saying anything. Anu can cry and scream all she likes these guys won’t budge no matter what

Vanraj is super insecure ke how can Anu get any kind of appreciation or affection from anyone let alone a guy who’s crushed on her years ago.

Vanraj's problem would have been the same had there been really any other guy in her life because in his mind he "purchased" her the moment he got married to her

He was afraid of divorcing her for this very reason. Who will take care of my old, ill-mannered,nasty parents and take care of their whims and fancies and still hear their taunts. Who will take care of my brats that a normal parent would be ASHAMED to introduce to acquaintances or relatives. And most importantly who will keep saying "sori" soo that i can feel better about myself. Who will massage my petty male ego. Who will make me feel more like a "man".

But the moment he saw that even after divorcing her she will still be his doormat and personal slave, all his previous hesitations about marrying kavya were vanished.

He precisely thinks he did a favor to her by feeding and clothing her for 25 yrs and "tolerating" her.

Now that fear of the pre divorce time has come back to haunt him. That his toy is now going to be taken away.

I call him a man child for a reason. He is that one 3 yr old toddler that can absolutely LOATHE a toy. Break it or even throw it in all direction as he sees fit. But the moment another child touches the same toy he will be all angry and throw a tantrum saying that it his toy and how dare anyone else touch it.

Anupama is the toy for him here. Where he wants nothing to do with the toy. He hates the toy. He thinks its the most useless piece of toy ever. But the moment another kid finds the toy nice he is all huffy and pouty.

Do mothers that lock their misbehaving children in the washroom still exist?? If you do that to your children or know of anyone else that does it thsn please volunteer yourself here and take this unruly 3 yr old in a 50 yr old man's body away

He did not pay a bride Price so he was bestowed on him , gifted for him to use as he pleased.

He has been raised believing that he was a super human that deserved only adulation.

To him his parents were gods and Anupama treated them that way.

his trophy wife would be unable to comply with his baa's demands, he would not be able to manage the peace and harmony at home so needed a scapegoat on whom the household burden and blame can be transferred.

his mindset is that she and Samar are losers and have no say in any of his atrocities. They have to swallow all that every one of them in shah house dish out to them. there are moment of realisation crop up when he sees their contribution but it again swings back to his mode of condescension.

He moves about in a robotic manner. The human side surfaces once in a while but his underlying nature is that of a domineering sadist. He likes to be in the driving seat all the time. anything and anybody coming in his way will not be spared.

Shivas third eye scorched those that obstructed his plan. For Vanraj that s the glare saved for Anupama and Samar. Seeing Anupama cringe evokes a smirk on his face. The aggression is reserved only for the two of them. Both will now move away from his sway which is disturbng him.

There's a slight difference between Samar and Anupama for him!!! He's willing to tolerate at least a little bit of disrespect from Samar!!! He does love Samar and won't sabotage his happiness on purpose but if Anupama is happy, he will try to sabotage her!!!

Sorry but I don't agree here.If Vanraj really loved and cared for his happiness,he wouldn't call him loser,wouldn't disapprove for Sanan's relationship.For Toshu,without a second thought he said a yes to Kinjal,then why not to Nandini?Because then his and Kavya's relationship would be affected. Have we got a single scene before the affair revelation where he is pampering Samar like he does to Toshu and Pakhi?Let alone pampering,he has not even talked to him in a normal tone.Whenever he has opened his mouth in front of Samar,it was only to shout at him.

And whenever Samar talks against Vanraj,he says Baap se baat karne ki Tameez hi nahi hai,he thinks he deserves so much respect, then why did he not teach Maa aur Bhai se baat karne ki Tameez to his ladle bacche when they insulted Anupama and Samar and called them losers?
