1st April update:

😆 😆 Am not going to fool anybody here 😆 😆

1. Starts with Rohini and Jr. RK arriving. the child talks cute. Both Shanti and RK welcome them warmly. But, inside, when the child says 'hello appa' he doesnt even give a smile, just gives an angry look and goes away. RK tells her samadanam to give Madan more time, she is peeved that he didnt' even care for his own son, she goes. Madan is standing out near the drive way, his son comes little by little and says 'sorry appa, i didnt' come to meet you, it was my fault too' very cute, Madan melts and hugs and kisses the child and says nothing is his fault. Rohini sees all these from the balcony and happy tears ... 😳
SKPD is enjoying charlie chaplin on tv. one adiyal comes and informs about Jamuna meeting Charulatha. SKPD deduces that it would have been the idea of 'tiger' ACD 😳, so that they make her talk against him in court, coz, Charu also has vengeance.

2. Karthik in the portigo of the house, asks Nallan (cleaning the car) to bring his cellphone from his room, he had forgotten. In the meantime, Jamuna;s dad comes and says he was on a tour to chennai and going to Salem, so just came to meet, Karthik asks about Jamuna and he pulambufies saying all of us are sad, she doenst say much, but, he had been trying to get a groom for her, but nothing is coming up because of the past incident. Karthik says, Jamuna is like his family, he will also try for a good groom for her.
Rohini and Shanti in the temple, after praying formalities, they sit in the temple yard and Rohini starts as to why Shanti called her back from Hyderabad urgently, what can become so bad. Shanti explains little by little that Abirami is trying to come back to the house, trying to get RK mama's affection, etc. Think of the devil and in comes Abirami too. Rohini is taken aback a little when she calls and says hi and asks her about her job, transfer, son, etc. She says all is fine and Abirami says that she is happy that there is another person in that house who would welcome her and she would come suddenly one day. Rohini smiles and says yes, she can. Abirami goes first and they both go behind.

3. SKPD's house, a guy comes to meet him and says, why he had been called. SKPD says that Charulatha should die soon, eventhough she is his wife, he had to choose between his getting caught by police and his good life. Adding, there is a big cospiracy between charu, ACD, Jamuna to catch him red handed, that should not happen. This guy asks if he has a date in mind, to which SKPD says no, but watch her every movement for a few days and kill her - 'sangu oodhidu' .. 😆 😆 (this has become common place in all serials now...very easy, one day is going to come when all of us in IF are going to assign somebody for CR too ... 😆 😆 😉, sorry, just a joke, dont' mistake me)
All these convo are heard by that trusted servant of Abirami, Sarasu. she is dumbfounded, she waits for Abirami's return and when she is back, says everything to a shocked abirami word by word ....FREEZE.

Adangapidari Abi in the hospital bed. Nurse and doctor in attendance.
Madam opens her eyes ( does not ask the usual "where am I or
who am I?? so, no amnesia...") SKPD and PP enter. Abi is all
vexed - "why did u save me??? to see my mom die in front of
my eyes? Do not visit me.... I will die too... let me die.." stages
a drama which brings the nurse in. The nurse chides mottai about
his bed side manners but SKPD wants to have a few words with
darling pappa. Nurse leaves with a stern warning and Abi is back
to the next act - "I will die and all the rituals should be done by mom,
so will u please let her live until then?" PP is moved by this and
tells SKPD that she is ready to slash her thoppai which harbored
SKPD and die -" ipdi kenjaraale, vayai thoranthu MP yai onnum
panna maattennu solla muidyalaiya?" SKPD promises Abi that
MP will not die by him ( aalu vaichi thaane murder?? so, promise
is fine😳😳 But he is used to making 10 promises for 1 cent 😳)
Abi is elated by the change of heart.

Vedi Murugan with his cronies in the forest. Talks about a butcher
killing a lamb and another person killing a lamb just because he
owns a pistol - like his cronies, Roja also could not catch the wisdom
in those words!! - boils in anger that SKPD did not pay him the
money, plans to kidnap PP -"thookkunga da antha kizhaviyai" -
Hospital..... soga Abi.... PP ... SKPD - mahathma maang madaiyan
RK walks in - "ennamma ipdi panniite? as it is u have low pressure.
hypertension aa careful aa irukka vendamaa?" - maanga kku
hyper kkum hypo kum difference theriyalai - SKPD turns away
and shows a stern face. Abi becomes jelly with "wish my parents
are as affectionate as u are..." SKPD is jealous ( ayye, maanga
vai parthu jealousy ellam vendaam, do not waste your expressions)
Abi wants to know if the news has reached mommy's ears. Manga
says that she knows and she will visit ( athu sari, crystal ball irukka
kaile??) RK leaves, Abi tells PP that she is sleepy and if mommy comes "pls wake me up" PP agrees.

RK household - Madan and baggage in conversation. Madan
says that Abi is enacting act by act -"first she put up an act of
returning the property... that did not work... so now this falling
from the stairs act...." Karthik laughingly says that there is one
maanga in their own house to believe all what she does. Madan
endorses bro's views and says that they should be happy that
RK did not bequeath all the rest of his property to darling DIL.
RK walks in and Madan asks "ennappa , show over?" RK says
that he did not go for a movie and visited the hospital. Madan
says that is exactly what he meant -"Abi oda adutha drama vai
parthaccha?" RK turns his back to his sons and goes on a
monologue - "Abi paavam, she is in deep depression, this is
not a drama. Only I know what she is going through " Both the
sons scoot the arena but maanga talks not knowing the scoot -
Omni is the only one present😳😳 - " being rejected by her own
mother is the worst form of insult and poor thing, she is suffering,
Let me just make a request to all of u , it is ok not to sympathize
with her but do not make fun" turns to see the sons missing....
Omni says they left long back,,,, maanga says that they will
definitely see his point one day and leaves. Omni says that the
sons also have the same view " appa will one day realize the true
villi" Charu is pensive... has visions of her time with Abi... the
same aa aaa aaa music ( Roja is happy that jo la lee is gone😳)

Update for Friday, April 4

Rohini offers coffee to her MCP husband. Mara Mandai Madhan (MMM)snubs her. He says there's nothing between them and she is merely his father's daughter-in-law. Omni overhears the conversation and intercedes to play peacemaker. MMM repeats his grievances about Rohini's leaving for out-of-station job when his Mom was ill and her failure to turn up for the funeral. Omni tries to reason with him, saying Rohini's prompt appearance would not have saved his Mom. MMM, being a mara mandai, is of course not amenable to reason and adds a new grievance – Rohini's failure to attend the death anniversary. Omni says Rohini fears that the distance between husband and wife may allow someone else to fill the gap (obviously alluding to Abhi). MMM says let her have that fear and storms out. Omni consoles Rohini.

Mrs Shankar calls Karthik on the mobile as he's driving. [Here CR uses his serial for community service.] Karthik, like a good citizen, puts her on hold, pulls up to the curb and then continues the conversation. Mrs Shankar announces that her brother is agreeable to marrying Jamuna. The elated Karthik suggests that she check with her husband before finalizing the matter. He then calls Jamuna's dad to share the good news.

RK calls out to grandson to join him and MMM at breakfast. Boy tells Thaatha to hang on while he prays to "God" first and then offers prayers before the photo of his Paati. RK askes who had taught him to pray to Paati and the boy replies it was Mommy Dearest. MMM beams awkwardly as he watches his son praying to his Paati.

Shankar returns home from an overseas trip and wife announces the proposal from Karthik. She says she has checked with her brother, who had OK'd the idea. Predictably, the MCP Shankar is incensed that his wife had struck a deal behind his back. When the wife asks him why the outburst, he says Jamuna, as a policewoman, has plenty of enemies waiting to harm her and her family. Mrs Shankar says her husband, being someone from the same police department, ought to be ashamed of himself to be speaking in such cowardly terms. Whereupon Shankar chides her for putting her own brother's life at risk. (Obviously, the decks must be cleared for poor ACD to feel obliged to offer himself as a sacrificial lamb. Btw, ACD has been missing for several episodes now.)

Rohini's son asks her to buy him video games as he's bored at home while Pappa and Mommy and everyone else is out at work. Rohini notices MMM in the adjoining room and deliberately refuses to buy the boy his video game. She leaves the scene. Boy puts on tantrums and Daddy notices.

Dinesh calls Anita to announce that he is heading for Trivandrum and will obtain Manisha's contacts for her. When he hangs up, Anita's MiL, who had picked up the phone, pries into her business (like all nosey MiLs) and asks to know why Dinesh had called. Anita says she had asked for the contacts of a potential donor to the orphanage. MiL then polumbifies about her lack of a grandchild and wonders why Anita has to shower so much affection on an orphan. Anita mutters to herself, if only you guys knew why I am doing what I am doing …

MMM has bought Sonny boy a video game and is demonstrating it to him. Some cuddles follow. Rohini is watching from behind with a glass of milk for the boy. When MMM notices her, he excuses himself. Predictably.

Abhi and PP are on a temple tour. PP complains that Abhi is visiting every temple in the land in thanksgiving for her reunion with Daddy. Abhi says she will do likewise when Mommy Dearest accepts her, much to PP's consternation. PP is tired and says she will sit at a corner while Abhi goes round the shrine. Abhi does several rounds and a beaming PP is watching her. At her final round, Abhi looks for PP, who is … tang da tang … GONE; kidnapped by Vedi Murugan, obviously. [Anybody keeping a count on the number of kidnaps in this serial so far?] Freeze on Abhi's shocked face.

Monday 7/4/08

Recap of Abi loosing paatti in the temple. She runs around and asks a few people about a maroon color sari clad old lady. No one has any clue. Abi rushes back home and informs daddy about loosing paatti in the temple. She is all worked up and SKPD calms her. Calls Sakthi (looks like he is the replacement for Kanakku) and asks for a solution. Sathi talks about going to the police but SKPD is not game. He thinksss.... he is smarter than one whole lot of police personnel - infers that it must be the handiwork of Vedi Murugan. "If the police are involved, then the murder case will surface!!! enna pannalaam??"

Karthik and Indhu are shopping - Indhu wants to buy a plane for Rakhi. AC Shankar's wife calls him and tells him that her hubby is not keen about the alliance. Karthik tries to list Jammu's plus points but Mrs.S says that any one who marries Jammu will end up with the same fate.
Karthik tries to reason out but she hangs up on him. Indhu asks about the toy and Karthik shouts at her.

Commissioner's office - C is very angry that they are not able to nail SKPD - he can not fathom as to how one man can go on a killing spree and the police department has to sit back and watch. Sarcastically advises JC and ACD to get a transfer to home guards and leave. ACD is shocked. ACS seems to revel at such an opportunity. SKPD calls ACS in his mobile but can not reach him. So,, he calls him in the C's office , uses a false name and once ACS picks up informs that PP is missing. ACS promises to take care of it.

Vedi is in the forest. Some one comes making a cuckoo noise - an auto driver sent by Vedi's crony with some things. The auto guy informs that some journalists were looking for Vedi. Vedi wonders about his new found status and is all game for an interview. His crony asks him if the press can be brought here - " nammai pathi ezhuthina nalla thaan irukkum aana avanga thaan poittangale, apram pakkalam".

SKPD is flustered about his missing mom. Wants Sakthi to keep calling Vedi in his cell. The smart Sakthi has not erased Vedi's mobile no and so keeps calling. A man enters SKPD's house and wants to meet him for some urgent help - the securities shoo him away saying that SKPD himself is distressed as PP is missing. The man goes out and makes a call - ACD picks up a call - any connection?? we do not know!!!

Abi storms into Charu's house and calls out amma amma - since Charu does not show her face, calls out madam ..madam. Charu comes out and wants to know the reason for the visit from the enemy camp. Abi informs the disappearance of PP. Charu says that SKPD has done so many kidnappings and one such victim must have done this. She tells
Abi that SKPD runs a criminal kingdom and can easily trace PP. Abi wants help from Charu but mom is not keen. Charu asks about going to the police and Abi says that daddy vetoed that proposal. Charu confirms that SKPD might have kidnapped his own mom and play a game with police. Finally, Charu asks about Abi's hospital episode - Abi says that she was looking forward for a visit from mom . Charu says that she has no reason to visit SKPD's daughter. A vexed Abi wants to know if she would hold the same stand even if Abi is in her death bed. Charu says that the choice is Abi's - " it is either me or him, u choose, ok? now i am busy" Abi leaves and Charu hurries to the Commissioner's office.

Vedi meets PP who is sitting in a room. He categorically informs PP that he had to kidnap her to teach a lesson to SKPD - " he did not listen to what I said and so here u are.." PP looks at the camera...

Tuesday 8/4/08

Recap of Vedi and PP - Vedi tells PP that he had to kidnap her
to teach a lesson to SKPD. Sees that PP is feeling cold. Covers
her with a shawl and gives her a book. PP sees that it is the
book of Mahabharath and blesses Vedi -" nalla iruyya" . Vedi
wants to know if PP is scared or angry at him. PP is calm , says
that she knows that he did it for getting some thing from her son -
"once u get that , u will release me. Why should I be scared or
angry? My son has kidnapped so many people, he will now know
the pain. I know that my son will give u what ever u want to get me back and I am also sure that u won't kill me as I am like a mother
to u" Vedi is touched by her words and calls her Deiva Thaai.

Madan is leaving for work. Rohini is ready and requests him to
drop her at the bank. Madan opens the back door for her. Their
minds talk - Rohini needs to know as to why he is still angry,
Madan replies that he does not like her working in the first place
,,,, Rohini gets down att he bank.

Rohini gets a promotion at work. She is told that her good work
has been noticed and so such accelerated promotions. This job
needs total dedication and it is not a 9 - 5 kind. Rohini receives
the letter, says a "but" and hands over another letter to her
boss -looks like it is her resignation... boss is surprised....

JC and ACD - in JC's office. Charu comes there and says that PP
has been missing. ACD says that it is believed that PP has gone
to Banares. Charu says that some thing is amiss and is willing
to lodge a complaint. She writes the complaint and hands it over
to JC. Jamuna and Indran are called. They are asked to go to
Coonoor immediately. The Ooty DSP will give them all the help.

Rohini at home with Madan and RK - RK tells her that a NRI
friend wants to open an account in her bank and wants her to assist.
Rohini then tells him that she has resigned her job. RK says
that her decision is premature but she says that her job at home
as a DIL is more valuable - "I have to loose some thing to gain
some thing" Madan is satisfied..Omni looks surprised...

SKPD looks worried and confers with Sakthi. The phone rings and
it is the Coonoor inspector. SKPD cuts him and Sakthi says that
it must be news about PP from Vedi. The phone rings again and
Sakthi goads SKPD to pick it up. The inspector, Narendran says
that Vedi has kidnapped PP to get 1 Crore from SKPD. SKPD
wants to know as to how the inspector knows all this. Narendran
says that he gets all the info..some muted talk......

Wednesday 9/4/08

Continuation of inspector Narendran talking to SKPD - all
muted. Finally SKPD asks the inspector to go and meet his
crony in Attakatti and gives a code word. Tells the inspector
that the money will be given and he requests that whatever
the inspector promised should be kept. Inspector laughingly
agrees.

Rohini takes over the kitchen sending Nallan to buy veggie.
Omni wants to know why Rohini suddenly resigned her job.
Rohini says that it was Omni who gave the idea and Omni
is quick to point out that she gave the idea only when Rohini
is not able to get her transfer. Both SILs share smiles.

Jamuna's mom is sitting outside - a forlorn look. Jamuna comes
in her uniform and mom is not pleased to see her like that. Mom
says that a lecturer groom is ready to marry Jamuna with out
any dowry - "leave your job, that is the only condition'. Jamuna
is not game. Mom and dad lament about not seeing a grandkid
soon.

Abi visits RK - talks about PP being kidnapped. Says that
SKPD does not want to go to the police but Charu has
complained. RK can not understand the logic in this. Abi
is equally confused about her dad's actions.

Vedi's crony comes and says that PP has some chest pain
and breathing trouble. Vedi asks him to go and get her
medicines. Is worried that PP might die before he can lay
his hands on the money.

Jamuna and Indran are walking in search of Vedi. ACD
calls and asks about locating Vedi. jamuna says that are
still searching.Indran sees a medical shop and goes to
collect his medicines. He has to wait for his medicines
and Vedi's man comes to collect medicines for PP.He
does not have any prescription and asks for all possible
stuff -makes a random mention about a "Madras Paatti,
old woman" etc., Indran catches this and is thoughtful.
Vedi''s man delivers the medicines to Vedi who goes to
see PP.

Sad Abi - Sarasu calls her for some food. Abi refuses saying
that she is worried about PP and can not eat. Sarasu also
asks about the police complaint and Abi says that her dad
does not want the police involved - "I am suspicious about
that as well. It is just my fate, i wanted them all to be together.
Now appa has accepted me but PP is missing. Do not know
what amma will say" - Sarasu just listens.

Indran and Jamuna come to the medical shop again -
introduce themselves as journalists and want to know if
the man who bought medicines the previous day is Vedi's
man. The shop owner confirms that it is Vedi's man but he
has no clue about Vedi's whereabouts. The auto guy is by
the side and tells them that he can take them to Vedi. Says
that annan knows about them and is keen to be interviewed/
He promises to come back after dropping some one. Jamuna
calls ACD , says that they might meet Vedi pretty soon and
Indran has a long muted talk with ACD. Finally ACD wishes
them all the best..

10/4/08 Thursday

Recap of ACD talking to Jamuna and Indran. ACD wants
them to take the police force along. Jamuna says that going
with the force will alert Vedi and so they would much rather
go alone first. ACD agrees.

Dinesh sends a sms to Anitha - Manisha's mobile no and her
hotel room no at Trivandrum. . Anitha calls BIL and says that
she is also coming to Trivandrum. Dinesh says that he will talk
to Manisha and get back to Anitha but Anitha does not want
Manisha to know about her visit. Dinesh agrees. Anitha calls
the travel agent and asks for a ticket. Arjun's mom watches
all this.

Jamuna and Indran are taken to Vedi's camp y the auto driver.
When they reach the place, they are asked to wait as Vedi is
away on an important mission. While waiting, Jamuna takes
some photographs.

Anitha is getting ready to leave. Arjun just watches. His mom
is unhappy with Anitha. She tells Arjun that in the beginning,
it was soothing to know that Anitha got involvd with orphans
as she can not get a child of her own but now things are getting
out of hand. Arjun is thinking.

Vedi and inspector Narendran are talking to each other.
Narendran wants Vedi to move away from this forest. Vedi
disagrees. Narendran says that he has already promised SKPD
that Vedi will leave this place. Vedi says that the inspector can
keep all the money that comes from SKPD but he won't leave
from here. As they are talking Jamuna and Indran come there.
The inspector sees them approching and suddenly shoots Vedi.
Vedi dies. Jamuna wants to know as to why he shot Vedi.
Inspector says that Vedi raised his gun at him and so he had
to shoot - self defense.

Jamuna and Indran reach the house where PP is kept captive.
PP is not happy to see Jamuna but Jamua says that they have
come to rescue her. PP says that Vedi is keeping her here as he
wants to get some thing from SKPD -"once he gets it, he will
reach me safely back home" - Jamuna says that SKPD engaged
Vedi to kill her groom. PP gets the whole picture and they all
leave for Madras. They reach the commissioner's office. Charu
is informed as she is the one who lodged the complaint. Charu
also arrives at that office ..wants to see PP...

11.4/08 Friday

Charu meets PP - ACD informs Charu that both Indran and Jamuna
rescued PP from Vedi . Vedi was shot in the bargain. Charu wants PP to come and stay with her but PP says that her place is with her son - however bad he is. PP goes on to say that Charu should show the same concern on Abi. Jamuna is asked to drop PP at SKPD's house. SKPD's crony calls and informs him of every thing - Vedi's death, rescue of PP etc., - SKPD calls Abi and tells her that PP has been found and rushes to the Commissioner's to pick her up. As they near their car, Jamuna brings PP. SKPD is happy to see her and PP but she tells him that his actions are the reason for her kidnapping. She tells him what if Abi was kidnapped?? SKPD send his mom in and thanks Jamuna. Jamuna says that she did her duty and she is still the same Jamuna with a fire inside her. She tells him that she knows all about the assassination of her groom and she is sure to catch the criminal - " pidichi, theru theru vaa izhuthuttu poven, varen" SKPD is stunned.

Manisha is in a car. She is looking at a magazine - mom and child - and a flash back - Both she and Anitha are in the same bus. Manisha has a baby in her hands. Anitha is about 2 or 3 rows in front of her. The bus stops somewhere for a break. Manisha requests the woman sitting next to hold the baby for a while and gets down. She goes to buy some milk and while she is doing that the bus she came leaves. A similar looking bus comes and parks in the same spot.

Manish comes back and gets in to the other bus. Learns that it is not the same one. Panics and is told by someone that one bus to Madras has just left. She goes around all buses - probably to take the one which leaves immediately to catch her bus. Inside the bus, the woman asks the bus to stop as the mother of the baby has not come back. The driver refuses saying that they are delayed already. Anitha picks up a fight saying that before they started, they must have made sure that all passengers are in. She wants the bus to go back but is told that she can get down in the next stopping with the baby and wait for the mom to come. She agrees. Manisha is still going around all the buses.

Mon 14th april:

Manisha alias Bharati bus standla oru oru busa thedara ( endi oru busla kooda eraadha ennatha thedaraiyo?😕) . No sign of her child. Meanwhile Anitha is let off her bus with the child ,at the end of a bridge. The conductor apologises and advises her to goto the police station ( paarka pona he shud have done that). She sits on a bench and bottle feeds the child and goes through the belongings of tthe child's mother. She is shocked to find the pic of Karthik and the girl and finds a love letter - written by Karthik in senthamizh to Manisha. Anita kku athai aana vishayam nalla puriyudhu.

Manisha is sitting and crying in the bus stand. Anita goes to her and gives her the baby. The mother is very happy - mutha mazhai to the sleeping child - paavam adhu appadiyum romba asandhu thoongaradhu. Anita asks her how Bharati knew Karthik. She is surprised at the mention of Karthik, but Anitha says she saw the letter. Bharati goes on to explain how they both met and how their relationship ended with the death of Vijay , leading to Karthik's marriage with Shanthi. Since her family members were planning to kill the child , she had come down south in search of Karthik to handover his son and leave them for good. Anitha promises to take care of the baby revealing her relationship. manshakku nimmadhi and handsover the baby and promises never to interfere in Karthik's life.-Now idhellam flashback for the present Manisha travelling in a car. Naasookka, oru kannulerndu vizhunda glycerine tear thodacchi vidara. ( I also wiped my tears, but original - che che indha serial track maari enge engeyo poradhe, idha velai menakkattu IF la ellarum parkarome nu oru aathangam)

Kanakku is being taken to the court. The jail supt warns kanakku not to lie in the court that he was tortured and hands over kanakku to another inspector. Kanakku gets into the police jeep and poranga poranga poranga poitte irukkanga. Kanakku has a suspicion , that the route doesn't lead to court and he voices his doubt to the inspector. Kanakku is sure now that the inspector is planning an encounter. The jeep stops in a vaanaandharam area and Kanakku gets down and the inspector leads him to another familiar jeep😉 - sollunga paarkalam ? vera yaaru 😆
