She kept on weeping the entire night. She was all alone in her room. She could not think of any way to convince her parents about what she wanted. She was so shattered due to everything that was going around that in a moment of her emotional weakness, she decided to end her life. She immediately got up, hurriedly began to search her drawers, tears still flowing down, she found a bottle of sleeping pills. She was about to consume the entire contents of that bottle, when her eyes went towards the mirror and she saw Raghav standing behind her.

Raghav: "ye tum kya karne ja rahi thi Trisha, tum itni kamzor to nahi thi? Tum to meri zindagi ho na...meri Trisha aisa kabhi nahi kar sakti"

Trisha: "Raghav... tum aa gaye Raghav, tumhe main kaise samjhau ki mujhpar kya beet rahi hai..." she turned around with a happiness in her eyes to see Raghav back but she was surprised to find no one around. She realized that it was just her imagination. She again went deep into her sorrows, threw the pills bottle at the mirror, fell down on her bed and burst out crying.

Trisha while crying: "tum kahan chale gaye Raghav, ab main kya karu? Tumhare bina na main ji sakti hu aur na ab mar sakti hu. Tumne mujhe kitni mushkil me daal diya Raghav, ab tum hi batao main kahan jau, kya karu, tum please jaldi se laut aao na" she kept on sobbing throughout.

Her mother heard the sound of mirror breaking and came rushing inside. She saw the mirror crashed and sleeping pills scattered all over, Trisha was crying like anything. She immediately rushed to her and lovingly placed her hand on her head.

Trisha's mother: "yeh sab kya hai beta? Tum kya karne ja rahi thi?"

Trisha: "I'm really sorry mumma. Aapne kaha tha ki main mar jau par main aisa nahi kar payi mumma. Main Raghav ke saath aisa dhoka nahi kar sakti. Uski amaanat ko nahi maar sakti main mumma. Aap please mujhe abortion karane ke liye mat kahiye please... please mumma I really need you mumma, please help me...ab aap bhi meri help nahi karoge to main kya karungi?" she continued to cry and was totally unconsolable.

Mom: "relax Trisha... Tum...tum utho, pehle aise rona band karo." She made her sit and wiped her tears. She gave her few sips of water and asked her to calm down first. She hugged her affectionately and after Trisha could control her tears, she said "dekho beta, hum sab tumhare dushman nahi hai. We know what you are going through, humse kuch chhupa nahi hai. Par hum majboor hai. Tum samajhti kyon nahi Trisha. Hum tumhe is samaj ki buri nazron se bachana chahte hai, samaaj easily yeh sab accept nahi karta. Aur tum apni chhoti behan ke bare me bhi to socho. Kal ko uska kya hoga...haan... batao. I know you are totally shattered, but still you have to continue to live. You are a brave girl, you can't become weak like this...I want my strong princess back... Please tum samajhne ki koshish karo, hum sab tumhari khushi chahte hain."

Trisha: "main abortion nahi kara sakti, baaki aap jo kahenge main karne ko tayaar hu" she said while she was still sobbing.

Mom:"theek hai, main tumhare papa se baat karti hu, lets see if there is any other way out. Till then you take care and please relax...and stop crying baby."

Trisha felt slightly relaxed on hearing this, but she didn't know what would her father say? She just wished he agreed to what she wanted. While she was waiting for her mother, Viraj and his father came to their home. While discussion amongst the parents about Trisha, Viraj's father gave them the suggestion to get her married to someone else. Trisha's father expressed his concern as to who would agree to marry her in these circumstances. Viraj came up and expressed his wish to marry Trisha. His father was initially surprised to hear this, but Viraj told him that he knew what he was doing and that he willingly wanted to marry her. His father was happy to see the maturity of his son and Trisha's parents were extremely happy, Viraj was a very nice person, they all knew how he had helped Trisha in difficult times.

After few hours when they left, her mother came to her and told her that she would have to marry someone, if she has to avoid an abortion. She also told her that Viraj wanted to marry her. She was surprised to hear this, how could she marry someone other than Raghav and how could Viraj do this, he knew everything and then also; she refused to marry him. Her father who was standing outside, came inside and shouted at her.

Trisha's father: "what is the problem with you? Tum chahti kya ho? Na tumhe abortion karana hai, na shaadi karni hai, what do you think you want to do?"

Trisha:" I don't want anything from life papa except Raghav."

Her father: "Raghav mar chuka hai, why don't you accept it?"

Trisha:" no he can't... he will come back one day. I know that..."

Father: "and if he doesn't ...then what? Abhi to Viraj tumse shaadi karne ko tayaar hai, abhi tumne accept nahi kiya to poori life aise hi akele reh jaaogi."

Trisha: "I'm ready for that papa, I'll take care of my child alone if this happens. I'll not be a burden on you, I'll manage everything on my own. His love and our child is enough for me for the rest of my life..."she was very determined about her decision.

Her father: "then in that case, you'll have to leave our house and go wherever you want to."

Trisha: "fine papa... Thank you very much, but I can never forget how you have always supported me in my decision...you have been my strength papa." She said this with tears in her eyes. She could not believe that her father could say this to her.

Her parents left from her room, her father was very angry and her mother was trying to calm him down. Trisha was packing her things to leave the house. She had tears flowing out of her eyes, she had absolutely no clue as to what would happen in future. Her mother came running to her room, she was very disturbed and was crying a lot.

Trisha: "what happened mumma? Aap ro kyo rahe ho?"

Mother: "wo tumhare papa... Unhe bahut zor se chest pain ho raha hai..."

Trisha was shocked to hear this. Both of them ran to her father's room, he was mourning with chest pain. Trisha immediately called their family doctor. The doctor came and gave him some medications. He told her that her father had a minor heart attack and he should be prevented from any kind of mental stress, that could be dangerous for him. She could not believe herself, she had to choose now which way to go. On one side she had her father's health and on the other side her love for Raghav and her baby. She composed herself somehow and decided to talk to Viraj once in isolation, she herself wanted to make everything clear to him right away. She called him the next morning and asked him to meet her.

While she was waiting for Viraj, she again drifted into her memories of the day when Raghav had come to her house to take permission from her parents to marry Trisha. For the first time in so many years, she had seen him nervous. He was fumbling a lot and his words just seemed to deceive him today. Trisha's parents already knew that they both are in love and want to get married; they had already given their permission to Trisha. Trisha just wanted him to come and meet her parents officially. Inside her heart, she also wanted to see how does he ask her parents for their permission; everytime he behaves as if he can easily handle any difficult situation. So Trisha thought of playing along this time. All of them including Trisha saw him so nervous and burst out laughing. They told him after this that they were eagerly waiting for this day. Raghav had felt so relieved to hear this but Trisha went on to tease him repeatedly for being so nervous. He had no answer to her teasing this time, he actually was very nervous; he didn't know how and what to say in such situations. She was brought out of her thoughts when Viraj came to meet her.

Viraj: "tumne mujhe bulaya Trisha?"

Trisha: "baitho Viraj. Mumma ne bataya ki tum mujhse shaadi karna chahte ho. Kyu tum apni zindagi kharaab karna chahte ho? Sab kuch jante huye bhi tum..."

Viraj : "haan Trisha, sab kuch jante huye bhi main tumse shaadi karna chahta hu. Main tumse pyar karta hu Trisha, but tum mujhe galat mat samjho. Main tumse kuch nahi chahta, bas main tumhe khush dekhna chahta hu, tumhe is duniya me badnaami se bachana chahta hu, taaki kal koi tumhe ya tumhare bachhe ko buri nazar se nahi dekhe, that's it. Don't worry, main tumse husband hone ka koi hak nahi mangunga, trust me I'll never let you down, I promise..."

Trisha:"why don't you understand Viraj, mai tumhe kuch nahi de sakti, mere paas kuch hai hi nahi, mera sab kuch Raghav ke saath chala gaya..."

Viraj: "don't worry, mujhe tumse kuch bhi nahi chahiye. Just give yourself some time, sab theek ho jayega... Main ab chalta hu, tum uncle ka aur khud ka bhi khayal rakho...ok"

Trisha after giving lots of thought, she went to her father and told him that she was ready to marry Viraj just for his sake.

Trisha: "aap jo karna chahte hai, aap kar sakte hai. Waise bhi main man se to tabhi mar chuki thi jab Raghav mujhse door gaya tha... You please carry on with the arrangements, you'll not have any problem from my side... I promise."
