Goodness, what a morbid fascination some Indian people have with the concept of sacrifce for your family. Helping your family is one thing, but sacrficing your own happiness? That's insane, more so when you're doing it for people who don't even respect or like you.

Im not defending Simi or KB Creatives but in real life also there are many people who sacrifice their own happiness for ppl they love. Simi loves her family, her parents, their happiness is more important to her than anything else. Shes known Abhi for only a few months, shes had her family for 30 yrs, where else would her loyalties lie?

I'd like to say one thing; in the real world, when you want people who are unjust to change, you don't go out of your way and be nice to them. They take you for a moron and gulliable individual and continue to take further advantage of you. Behavior of this kind only changes when you hold them accountable and set boundaries. You don't have to be ugly about it either.

The world is composed of suckers/victims and exploiters/selfish people. Simi is a sucker!

I too liked Simi a lot. A lot in fact and really felt for her in the RB incident. However, since the arrival of Nukul I actually cannot stand her character. The writers have fallen for the typical rona dona, sacrifical heroine. What next? Is she going to throw herself on a funeral pyre for Anuj and/or Nukul and expect Abhi to throw himself on one for her? That's how it is looking like to me.

Simi's not a hot babe that we can believe Abhi getting besotted by her - she's frump girl. The whole storyline has one big gapping hole with a totally unbelieveable rationale as to why he likes her.

People dont love each other only because of good looks or hotness! Thats superficial love or lust. Abhi was attracted to her simple nature and innocence when he saw her first praying at the temple. Maybe he just liked her because shes not like the other flighty, shallow girls of his generation! A guy like Abhi can fall in love with a "frumpy" girl if she has qualities hes attracted to!

I agree with your point though that Simbhi chemistry isnt working out. Their so called love is completely one-sided with Abhi chasing her and Simi exploiting him.
But Im sure the Creatives are doing that to appease the old-fashioned viewers who cant accept the relationship of a much older woman with a younger guy. They are shying away from showing a really hot, sizzling romance between the two! After all what would the tradition-bound, disapproving viewers say? How would they react to such a "taboo" relationship?

O yes I want to see the way AnitA TREATS Manju if she comes back in the house !! Manju should get the bitter treatment from Anita so that she realises thats with her ladla beta she got his dominating wife too

Granted we should be loyal to our family, but at what expense and to what degree? Plus Abhi is not just anyone; he is a guy who has been there for during her worst time. It is not the length of time you know someone, but how they have affected your quality of life. He saved her from a tragic fate. If anything, he is the right person for her. If she wants to sacrfice her happiness to help her family (the reason she has asked him to delay telling her family about the marriage), then why not the same with Nukul? No. She said nothing while Dadi ji went ahead and told her that her enagement would be set in a week. Her father is not forcing this marriage down her throat; he has told her several times that the decision is hers.

I agree, that is not the case at all, but here you have to assume the reason. I have tried to "assume" a reason, but that's not my job; it is the job of the creative team. They have not done it. The only rationale they gave was Abhi's admiration of her sacrificial qualities (the very quality that got her caught in the RB mess in the first place). The whole thing contradicted itself in the end.
By the way, if you and others remember, Abhi will sacrifice his love for Simi; he will not dump her. It will be so rona dona you might which to get something for the acidity that you will experience. Remember his talk with Guruji? He was so in awe of her sacrficial quality he was willing to sacrifice his love for her and not tell her until the Guruji encouraged him to let his feelings be known.

Simi attachment to her family is justified but atleast give some considersaton to the person whom you wish to lead ur rest of ur life !!
Abhi has always been supportive and helped her out but inreturn she has not spent valuable time wth him and understood him .. She is soo engulfed with her family that she dose'nt kw what decision she needs to take regarding her life partner and that with another promising proposal on her doorstep where is Abhi going to be standing in her decision !!
The way she removes the ring on the all of her father just shows that she is still in a dilemma and scope of improvement will be lean with people like Anita the limelight of zeroing their Chemistry !!

Ok lets change some thinf here a better way to bring abhi ans simi together .......................... ( i know its out of this topic........ sorry if I have posted it wrongly here)
We will send Abhi and Simi Out . say Abhi is in the final year ans his is going to appear for the final term exam(if they have any).....so he is going to his college, on the other side simi has a training programme to attend ( there should be a gap between both of them leave and also the place where they will be in staying other wise our anita will be doubtful and go behind them😲).
Once simi reaches ther training place she calls abhi and tells him that she in a tranin gplace some where near to his college.
then they both meet up and they have fun.................real fun.😆

Abhi is such a good guy he tells her, we will solve the problem together. What does Simi think? She can fix this problem alone? Abhi was the one who helped her with RB. When she needed money for Neetu, Abhi was the one who gave her the money without question. Also it was Abhi who told her about the fixed deposit and that Anuj had stolen it. Her rationale to dump him has no basis.

That's OK. Although you might want to post it as a new topic as it will get lost here. 😃 Perhaps you might want to title it - what would you like to see Simi and Abhi do. I had one post similar to this a month ago. Perhaps it's time we do a new one. If we get some good ideas, we might wish to send it to the creative team as it certainly seems they need some help and a good push in the right direction. 😉

I am surprised why Abhi's sub conscious mind is not knocking him and asking him if you are doing all this for Simi is she appreciating ur love ???

You need not to great deeds to express your love in return atleast show ur concern abt what you would like to do o respect that love for eachother..

Simi is a coward! Shes hesitating to tell her family about herself and Abhi, shes just delaying the whole thing as long as she can because shes not sure how they will react, but shes sure they will be horribly shocked as Abhi is much younger and hes also Tarneja's son! Simi is totally devoted to her Dad and she doesnt want to cause him any more grief or shock of discovery.

Abhi's attraction to Simi began before that. The first time he saw her praying at the temple, he was staring at her in a bemused way as if fascinated by her simple attire and sincere devotion. Next when he rescued her from RB's clutches, he felt protective towards her.
The first signs of love in a guy is when he feels protective towards a girl, thats a sure sign....and that was the reason he started loving her, because she was a wounded bird in need of his rescue.....not because of her Meena Kumari nature. 😆

He wasnt in awe of her sacrifices, he respected her because she was older and wiser. He wasnt sure how she would react to his love confession! She used to humor him and call him bachcha, remember?😆 If he admired her sacrifices, he wouldnt blast her on the terrace when she was getting married to RB.
