Leading Women Producers of TV!

As Women's Day is around the corner, the spirit of woman is felicitated for her excellence and the courage to bind family together in spite of facing many hurdles coming her way. As time passes by, women have touched greater heights through their performance.

We feature producers who are though at the back seat yet their work speaks on screen -
 
The first who appears in this list is the ace producer Ekta Kapoor who has offered some path breaking shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii which continued to break records, is still ruling the hearts of viewers with interesting concepts. Ekta Kapoor, who is quite known to give a break to new comers has very much unleashed her name in the industry and today is considered as one of the best known producers. While Ekta Kapoor's shows are based on kitchen politics and mostly are soap operas, TV czarina is set to produce a reality show Nach Baliye.



Joining the league of dramas is eminent producer Rashmi Sharma, who is known for producing daily soaps. Her debut show was Raja Ki Ayegi Baarat and since then she started progressing, Saath Nibhana Saathiya was her mega project which turned out to be a trend setter and turning point of her career. Simultaneously, Sasural Simar Ka under Rashmi Sharma Telefilms, too has become popular and is in demand by the viewers for its intriguing twists and turns. As known to all, Rashmi believes in exploring new subjects through her show and it can be well explained with her new show Swaragini on Colors.
Another producer Neelima Bajpaye, who produced a popular show Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, inventing a power packed negative character of Sindura played by Kamya Punjabi, is on the spree of making popular shows like Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, Sapno Se Bhare Naina and currently Shastri Sisters.  The highlighting one is Hello Pratibha, reinforcing the suject of women empowerment.
Pearl Grey, though has produced less number of shows, but has always managed to make people aware through her show with the concept. While Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya, delved into the concept of eve teasing, Doli Armaanon Ki, focused on domestic violence and women empowerment. Having set the benchmark for bringing into light many such social issues, other makers are too following her footsteps and making a show on the same.



Last but not the least is Bhairavi Raichura and Nandita Mehra. The duo have collaborated and come up with their own production house as 24 Frames. While Bhairavi rose to fame with her character of rowdy and tapori Kajal Bhai from the popular family entertainment show Hum paanch, Nandita Mehra had earlier directed Uttaran and later produced a show titled as Mehendi Tere Naam Ki. Soon Bhairavi joined hands with her director friend Nandita Mehra to produce shows like Chhal -Sheh Aur Mat, Laut Aao Trisha and Satrangi Sasural under 24 Frames.
