To gauge the pulse of the audience, India Forums recently conducted a poll across its social media platforms, asking viewers to vote for the most underrated TV show that truly deserves a spot at the top of the TRP rankings.

The results reflected strong emotions from fans, highlighting several shows that have built a loyal fanbase despite not making a mark in traditional viewership numbers. Here's a look at the top contenders that audiences feel deserve more recognition:

Doree 2

With 44.4% votes on Twitter and a leading 226 votes on Instagram, Doree 2 has clearly emerged as the audience’s top choice. A sequel to Doree, the show airs on Colors TV and follows the grown-up journey of Doree, with Priyanshi Yadav reprising her role as Doree and Ishaan Dhawan playing the male lead, Maan.

In the latest TRP report, Doree 2 ranked at the 28th position with a rating of 0.6. However, given the immense love the show receives on digital platforms, we decided to conduct a poll—and the results speak for themselves. Doree 2 emerged as the clear winner, reflecting the audience’s strong emotional connection with the show. Viewers especially appreciate its heartfelt storytelling, well-crafted characters, and most notably, the captivating chemistry between Maan and Doree. It’s evident that fans believe the show deserves far more recognition on the TRP charts than it currently receives.

Mannat Har Khushi Paane Ki:

Coming in a close second, Mannat Har Khushi Paane Ki received 40.1% votes on Twitter and 60 votes on Instagram. Colors show starring Ayesha Singh, Adnan Khan and Mona Wasu in pivotal roles secured the 16th position with 1.2 ratings. Despite not being a TRP topper yet, it’s clear that Mannat has built a loyal following.

Wagle Ki Duniya:

Sony SAB’s Wagle Ki Duniya, a slice-of-life drama, also found solid support from fans. It secured 8.4% votes on Twitter and 25 votes on Instagram. The show’s light-hearted yet meaningful storytelling continues to resonate with a niche but passionate audience that values its nostalgic and relatable content.

For the unversed, in the recent TRP chart, Sumeet Raghavan’s show holds 24th position with 0.8 ratings.

Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin (Season 4):

Though Star Plus’ Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin has traditionally been a TRP favorite, its latest season seems to be flying under the radar. It’s not only struggling on the TRP charts but also taking time to connect with the audience emotionally. With just 7.1% votes on Twitter and 16 votes on Instagram, only a section of viewers feels the show deserves more recognition for its ongoing storyline and the efforts of the new cast. In the latest TRP chart, it holds the 11th position with a rating of 1.3.

Megha Barsenge:

Due to Twitter’s poll limitation of only four options, Colors’ Megha Barsenge could be included only in the Instagram poll. Whether because of this or not, the show received just 6 votes. The show, starring Neil Bhatt, Neha Rana, and Kinshuk Mahajan, is currently witnessing major twists and turns, with the shoot now taking place in Nainital. However, it seems these developments haven’t grabbed much audience attention yet. In the latest TRP chart, the show stands at the 18th position with a rating of 1.1. That said, compared to the other shows featured in the poll, Megha Barsenge is performing relatively better in terms of TRPs.
