Elvish Yadav’s wildcard pick Kushal Tanwar wins Roadies Double Cross in comeback twist

The finale of MTV Roadies Double Cross concluded with Kushal Tanwar, fondly known as Gullu, walking away with the title. Representing Elvish Yadav’s gang, Gullu clinched the win after a neck-and-neck face-off with Hartaaj Singh Gill from Prince Narula’s team.

The final task tested both finalists to their limits. Hartaaj clocked a swift 1 minute 48 seconds, but Gullu edged him out by completing it in just 1 minute 16 seconds. With that, he not only secured the winning title but also took home a Karizma XMR bike, ?10 lakh in prize money, and a lot of praise from all gang leaders.

Gullu’s journey had its twists. Initially a part of Elvish’s gang, he was eliminated mid-season. His re-entry came through an auction, where Gautam Gulati spent the highest number of wins to bring him back. Yet, in a dramatic turn, after securing the ticket to finale, Gullu had the power to switch teams. Despite being courted by Gautam, Rhea Chakraborty, Neha Dhupia, and Prince Narula, he chose to return to Elvish’s gang—an emotional move that left Gautam visibly disheartened.

After the win was announced by host Rannvijay Singha, Elvish Yadav was seen visibly moved. “Gullu aur mera jo bond tha—ye mera pehla Roadie tha jo maine liya tha. Usi ke saath mein aaj main yaha khada hu,” Elvish said.

The Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner later expressed his emotions on Instagram, writing, “I’m completely overwhelmed with emotions right now! I’m thrilled to announce that my brother Kushal Tanwar (Gullu) and I have WON the season of Roadies Double Cross! This journey has been an incredible ride, and I’m so grateful to have shared it with my bro! We did it, Gullu!”

This season marked Elvish Yadav’s debut as a gang leader, and the victory alongside his first-ever pick made it even more personal. Other finalists included Rishabh Sachdev, Rohit Singh, RD Dedha, and Priya Sharma. All gang leaders, including Neha, Prince, Rhea, and Gautam, congratulated Gullu on his win. With this, another intense season of Roadies came to an end, spotlighting loyalty, strategy, and unpredictable comebacks.
