Humsafar, the standout perfomers were Fawad and Atika whereas Mahira was just perfect and gave her career's best performance.. i passionately hated khizar, infact i hate dhim more than fareeda, he is the only reason i wanted sara to face a severe end, i swear i just hate him..🥱

Naveen and Fawad on the other hand shared a very good chemistry too ... infact this show had Fawad sharing his best chemistries ever, be it as a son with Atika-Baseerat or as the focal point between khirad and sara, the man looked gorgeosu and shared gorgeous chemistry with both his ladies...

agree with you completely and also about Rafiya. She really started bugging me when she used to give kashaf all that advice about looking after her husband and cooking for him blah blah.
She did all that for Murtuza an he didn't stay. After educating her daughters single handedly, and teaching them to stand on their own feet, is that what she could tell Kashaf only after marriage?
Didn't make any sense to me.
I too preferred Hina as Gazala.
though i found both the character sketches in the script contradicting. I didn't find these kind od loopholes in the screenplay in Humsafar.

Again, Sanam S was fantastic in ZGH. She fitted the role perfectly. But really can't compare her and Mahira. The comparison is baseless. Only common factor between both are Fawad and Hina.😆

I also feel that all supporting roles in Humsafar were more meaningful and had a reason.
ZGH just dragged and dragged with Muruza's 2nd wife and Hammad, after a point.
They showed that Murtuza did every thing for his son, but the son was quite a nikamma. If they had to throw in the side characters for so long, they should have also shown how Murtuza treated his daughters from the 2nd marriage. They were completely gaayab.😆
Murtuza and his 2nd wife, ate every fruit in the market through the serial. That track dragged on unnecessarily.

The comparison just places down the great work Fawad has done in both the shows.. its just similar to ask a parent to choose between his children, similarly as a fawad fan i have no regrets to say that both the shows were best at their genres, i never watched humsafar before, atleast not the way Asher and khirad were portrayed and similarly ZGH was an extravagant experience.

its unfair to compare sanam and mahira also, if mahira wouldnt know acting then ofcourse Humsafar wouldnt be iconic, its her first show as a leading lady, when there was such a humongous success related to that show then how can that show have flaws, esp in the performances ?
and i am so sure sanam saeed or a sanam baloch can never play khirad just how mahira can never play kshaf convincingly, it takes two to tango, and its baseless to say that this jodi is better than that.
Fawad, well the less i say its better, he is my everything, i am biased for him, but yes thats only because till now his work never disappointed me.

@bold -- I think TM is not comparing Fawad's acting in both shows.
It's the comparison between 2 shows. And both had love story factor. I think it's fair.

ZGH for me as its more to my taste. Humsafar was very melodramatic for me. I fast forwarded most of the supporting cast scenes...

no her advising kashaf to take care of zaroon never bugged me because every mother does that and Rafiya does know about Kashaf's comlex nature, so she has an extra lecture for her always.. what bugged me was licking murtaza's ass most of the time ..🥱
Murtaza didnt stay after being taken care by Rafiya doesnt mean that Zaroon should be treated like a victim, he deserved his wife's care and affection which Rafiya made kashaf realize.. GOOD..
look i am independent and am doing undergrads, but still my mother tells me that my husband will kick me out as i cant cook, thats how natural mothers are, they do advise their daughters to take care of the husband and in laws to win their hearts. Murtaza's being spineless doesnt mean kashaf should be spineless in course of zaroon.. then whats the use ? that would mean kashaf is like her father who doesnt care about life partner's well being and all right ? so IMO those moments were good one.

yes no comparison .. not even Hina, the major arguements are because of Fawad, and trust me when i say it 😉

i agree to an extent but then why there isnt any comparison between humsafar and shehrezaat ? why there isnt any comparison between mere naseeb and ZGH ?
i hope u get my point here, mostly the root cause of an arguement between ZGH and Humsafar or a Humsafar and dastaan is because Fawad is the leading man, and from some frame there are jodi fans..

otherwise humsafar didnt even air yet, and still we have reached 9 pages of arguements... thats good though...

If you're a good actor then you're a good actor. Experience helps those that aren't natural actors. So, this whole debate of how Sanam Saeed has more experience with merely a year makes no sense. If you take a look at Mahira ' s performance in Shehr e Zaat ' s first half, SeZ is Mahira's 4th project as an actress...then this whole experience debate is weak sauce because Mahira was far from effortless there. Good actors need merely one scene to showcase their talent, and that can be their very first scene. Experience mostly helps those who aren't natural.

i guess i dont make sense ... i respect ur opinion when u say mahira is far from being effortless ..
I am happy as long as she does good for herself, criticism or appreciation is part of success, i am glad even if she isnt natural she has achieved a lot, a top rated actress and enjoys a huge fan base.. i wonder how come sanam baloch and sanam saeed dont share such a fanbase eventhough they are better ...

Katrina Kaif has a bigger fanbase than Priyanka Chopra. I guess she's a better actress than her and that's why. :-)
