Both the shows have their plus points - per me both are classics in their respective place...

ZGH has a brilliant script and is closer to reality - its not just a lovestory - its rafia's story + kashaf's story + zaroon's story + zashaf's story...- which was a welcome change coz I guess most shows after humsafar's success in pak seemed to be impersonating humsafar's track only?

kashaf is easily one of the best written characters...and there is lot of connectivity with her - as for zaroon he is a perfectly imperfect man and as rafia had said - usme beshumaar khoobiya hai aur kuchh khaamiyaa bhi

there is no doubt that acting was great overall and the chemistry is bang on between fawad-sanam...samina-sanam scenes personally I just love rafia-kashaf scenes, there is so much depth in them, its a beauty! very few shows show such beautiful and realistic give and take conversations between mother and daughter

coming to Humsafar...that show has its own charm...its a trendsetter for a reason...the direction is superb and the emotional quotient is pretty high, even though the storyline is strictly average and predictable...its not supposed to be realistic in the first place...coz it was meant to be a love saga...I had read so much about it being a saas bahu saga...I sat to watch it with a wary mind...but its not just a saas bahu saga...there is a reason for each character's behaviour in this show...infact the two characters for me who are actually grey is asher and baseerat...both the men were weak according to me...

mahira may not be the greatest actress...but she did a good job with khirad and the chemistry between fawad and mahira is really something in the show...

and as a third angle...I like sara from humsafar more than asmara from ZGH...

ZGH for life.

Humsafar is a beautiful TV show too and I like it extremely. I also think that the chemistry between Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan is better than that between Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed. It's just, ZGH is a lot realer and earthier, with more powerful and layered characters and a basically harder impact.

Sanam Saeed is epic as Kashaf. She is the one character I can understand exactly. I understand why she does what she does through the show, there is lack of such substance in Humsafar. It's a beautiful love story. Zindagi Gulzar Hai is way more than that.

As already said both can not be compared neither the chemistry of the leads . Humsafar was kind of love story with ups and downs . Fawad as Asher got the opportunity to show the range of his acting skills where he was very natural as father . A loving husband a soft spoken person , Perfect friend to Sara . Felt bad for Sara biut she knew that she will never have place in Ahser,s heart . Agree she was used as puppet where her mother was objecting every time . But i think her mother was also at fault , knowing that Asher will never love her she should have taken her away Or should have tell the truth to Asher . As for Farida , watching Hindi serials saas ,she was much better . not with nonsense facial expressions,not over the top . Mahira seems to be raw in the starting Asher took the show forward with his own performance but later on Khirad character gel with Asher where acting is concerned . Its not Saas Bahu saga. Watch this one for Fawad where he has excelled himself in emotional scene . Yes can have tissue box . Better than our hindi ones who are copying this show also then why not to watch the original .
Now ZGH is totally different concept . not just a love story , you can identify with the characters . ZGH is the special one for me as i find the characters around me . Fawad and Sanam both have brought the best in each other as Sanam is quite versatile actor .
Its injustice to compare both shows . Watch Humsafar for Fawad .

Both are awesome serial but my fav is Zindgi gulzar hai I have watche it 4 time whole Drama in 2 week...Love the way how Zaroon and kashaf s relationship evolves from hate to love...

No comparison between these two . Only common factor is Fawad Khan who has lived both the characters Asher and Zaroon . Where Asher do not remind you of Zaroon and Zaroon do not about Asher . Watch Humsafar for Asher who has excelled himself specially in emotionally charged scenes . Romance we know he can do with his eyes expressions , his brooding , piercing eyes .

Humsafar.. I loved the simplicity of the story and there is simply no match for Ashar and Khirad's chemistry! ❤️

Hmmm..zaroon undoubtedly. .bcz I really gt connected wid his character in a click. .

We cn find a Husband like zaroon ..whereas ashar type character r jst fr serial

I find zaroon more progressive n open minded...plus zaroon n kashaf behav like normal practical couple...

Evn I fnd sanam saeed more impressive n amazing thn mahira

May b fawad n mahira chemistry ws gud..bt wen it comes to impressive couple my vote goes to ZAROON KASHAF ( FAWAD N SANAM SAEED)

1 year back I would have surely said zindagi gulzar hai and zaroon kashaf. At present will choose none. This social media reaction to zgh has sucsessfully put me off. Now I guess its humsafar turn as it wiol be aired soon.

On topic, its an unfair comparison , atleast for the fanbases of respective shows as both are hugely popular.
