hey TM, but your 1,3,4 bullet points also apply for Humsafar if you have watched it ... and about the story being realistic, well both the shows are based on two diff novels ...

one more thing is while ZGH is based on life and the hardships, Humsafar is basically a love story, and when there is a love story, you dont expect or get to see reality onscreen.. Love stories are meant to be fictious, dramatized, have extra emotional dosage which Humsafar rightfully had ..

for me i rate both the shows equally because its really unfair to compare two iconic shows , that will reduce the success and hardwork of both the teams and especially Fawad's career's two most prestigious shows, its unfair to him.. ..😆

loved ur comment Asher and Zaroon both are iconic , both have effected the women community in a vast manner, so no regrets as I love both n agreed 😉

You can not compare both the shows . Both have different storyline . ZGH was more about real life characters and bondings Zaroon,s character,s evolution from flirt to a mature person with passing of time . You can not compare Zaroon and Asher . Asher Was shown to be a mature person already .
Humsafar is heavily on emotional side and there are many scenes where Fawad has excelled himself . When he comes back and asks for Khirad , his voice modulation, his expressions , anger hurt all in his expressions . Liked Mahira also but she evolved as an actor after she separated from Asher . I myself has seen Humsafar many times from 15th onwards , forwarding the others . You can not ignore Fawad as Asher . When he sees Hareem,s picture ,he is crying but controls that time he did great job .

ZGH is reminds you people living around you . Its about the real world and story of real people . ZGH is special for me as its the web of relationship . He is very natural whatever character he plays . His eyes are the mirror of her soul .

Humsafar started giving me a headache after the rona dhona started.

What a irony ,I liked the show onwards 15th episode when Khirad comes back . Lives quietly and gives back when she has to .

Zindagi Gulzar Hai for me I have watched Humsafar in bits and pieces but somehow I have not been able to connect to the show like ZGH.

I still feel had Zindagi Gulzar Hai aired before Humsafar in Pakistan it would have had the same euphoria and success that Humsafar got it is all about timing.

Even if u have to compare the story-wise and acting wise not only from leads but even support cast ZGH is class apart.

Atiqa who plays Ashar's mom failed to impress me in the role. She is the vamp but her acting is hardly nuanced. Whereas both Samina Peerzada Kashaf's mother and Hina Bayat who plays Zaroon's mother where top class in their roles in the show in ZGH.

Zindagi Gulzar Hai always ❤️ specialy for Kashaf & Sanam ❤️
along with zaroon,rafia,sidra,sara ⭐️ ZGH hooked me with its unique fresh story & amazing characters story vice acting vice ⭐️

i recently finished watching Humsafar he story is common but i must say direction & acting was good but still i didn't find the show that kind which made you hooked to sit back

I have not been able to connect to Humsafar like ZGH.

u know my personal fav is ZGH but I wanted to share dis info as I m not sure everyone is aware about it actually in d yr 2011 or so TOI had mention about humsafar n d way its trp was 16 more then ksbkbt
