If Phantom was released today instead of 2015?

Phantom dared to make a movie on 26/11 a decade before Dharundar touched this topic. Much like dharundar..it had a tagline which said a story you wish was true with agents going to pak to hunt down the terrorists.

But unfortunately the movie bombed.

Those were different times when celebrities across the borders were putting peace slogans on insta..there was cultural exchange..Modi made a surprise visit to lahore to attend Nawaz Sharif's grand daughter's wedding.

Bajrangi bhaijaan and Phantom both were kabir khan's directorials one which was all about Harmony and the other which spoke more about facts and the horror of terror infrastructure occuring within Pak. However kabir khan faced flak..so much so that during the trailer launch of Phantom he was attacked on why he is making anti pak movies and promoting hatred. A journalist literally yelled at him.

Cut to a decade later and everything is poles apart. No one will dare to say this to kabir khan today and the movie may get many more eye balls in today's political climate.
