Abir ka mahaanta mode amuses me...the way he was actively trying to project that he could never be the kind of guy to save Mishti and only Kunal is the responsible one...lol Abir likes projecting an image that he unreliable...this is even beyond Sanyaasi mode...lol he has a self-esteem issue as well I think...or atleast that's how it seemed in this scene today.

Kuhu was the one that surprised me in the epi...maybe they are actively trying to improve her character now...lol the way she showed regret for being mean to Mishti, then saying she doesn't want to marry a guy who doesn't care for her and that she wants her own grand love story...haha I was surprised cuz I thought she'd get obsessive over Kunal...anyways let's see where things go now that Mishti-Kunal ka rishta is being considered. Kuhu will struggle with it.

And your last line...lol I don't think there is any avoiding of that...Kunal-Mishti will likely reach the stage of going through rasams...Kunal is unlikely to refuse cuz he thinks this is what his mom wants...lol and Mishti will remain confused...Abir is manipulating both of them to think they are good for each other too...lol

Remains to be seen when Mishti realizes Abir is the one who gets her and how they bond.

At a point he says if his mom wouldn't have done what she did the story would have been different..
Mishti is unaware of what is he referring to...but Abhir says it ..that means he still has allowed the feelings he has for Mishti to stay back...and gradually trying to come out...but I don't understand what Abhir has to go through this...

Yes I know this is a story..but... when u like a girl will you not even try to get her into your life?
Abhir has hugh issues with his mom, knows she is manipulative..and yet now thinking she has liked Mishti is trying hard to get her to Kunal...

I think That Maassi..whith whon Meenu has clearly shared her intensions will play a part here... she will be the one to tell Abhir that his mother did take the decision knowingly so that the alliance could be broken. Wonedr what will Abhir do then

I am not in favor of shaddi swaps.. or couple swaps for that matter...but yes I want to see how the writers play this. I am sure if too much melodrama is sprinkled around this ..It may spoil the taste of the dish for me atleast 😆 ..

as of now...looks like There will be Sangeet of Ketki and loads of masti and drama attached to it...waiting for the drama to be unfolded 😃

Have you seen the movie While You Were Sleeping. It is quite a old movie but in that too the story is somewhat similar. FL saves the second lead(younger brother) from getting killed and his family thinks that she is his girlfriend. While he is in coma in the hospital she gets to know about his family. In that process she falls in love with the ML who is the elder brother. The younger brother comes out of coma and agrees to marry her. On the wedding day, FL reveals that she actually loves the elder brother so cannot marry the younger brother and leaves from there. Only after that the elder brother too accepts his feelings and he comes to her and proposes and later gets married in a grand ceremony.

I feel this is what the makers will show given what they said during their launch party. This is the main USP of the series, that a girl has choice, that she can choose her own life partner after rejecting someone else and getting rejected. That the rejection is not directly related to something horrible.

I am yet to warm up to the idea of Kunal Mishti getting close to BIL /SIL while being engaged to each other . Before I jump to conclusion I would like to see how they handle this track

Honestly , I am so pissed at abir .
Why in the world is he making Kunal the hero ?
I don't really like such actions by the male leads .

Nitu, they already brought in the reference of Ram and Bharath for Abir And Kunal and not Ram and Lakshman. 😃 😃

In Ramayana, Ram was the true heir of Ayodhya throne, yet he never asserted his right. He accepted his step mom's words and went to the forest. When Bharat gets to know, he refuses to accept his mom's words and claims that Ram is the true king. And he doesn't want to rule Ayodhya at any time. He goes behind Ram to bring him back. On Ram refusing him by saying I want to keep our dad's promise to our mom and fulfill her wish, he accedes and returns to Ayodhya with Ram's slippers. He never sits on the throne, but becomes the steward of Ayodhya keeping it safe till Ram returns.

I see very similar events in YRHPK too. Kunal and Mishti are not attracted to each other nor are comfortable with each other. Kunal is going through that because Abir is advising him to move ahead. He is doing it because he thinks this is the right thing to do. Kunal is a guy who respects both Abir and his mom. Meenakshi created this scenario thinking that Maheshwari's will NEVER accept Kunal for Mishti. But now the tables have turned due to fate. She never thought that God would play a bigger game than what she did. She is in a place where she cannot go back on her words when Maheshwari's accept the proposal. Meenakshi too will have to go ahead with the alliance. Kunal is doing everything for the sake of Abir. Even in the hospital when Rajshri compliments Kunal for saving Mishti, he immediately looks at Abir And accepts those words only for the sake of his brother.

It is only a matter of time before he figures out that the earring belongs to Mishti. Kuhu has already spilled the beans by saying that both she and Mishti were in Kutch together with Ketki. It is not like Mishti will come alone to meet Kunal. My guess is she will come with Kuhu to Rajvansh house or Kunal will go to Maheshwari house to interact. During these times, he will find that he can easily talk to Kuhu and be himself with her and not Mishti. That is when he will talk to Abir And ask him to come back home, from his wanderings and accept his responsibility.

Even in the launch party, this was one of the things that was part of the discussions. That when the proposal breaks, after the two get to know each other, it is the girl who is affected the most, because society will blame her that she is the one who has some fault because of which she was rejected. No other family/guy would like to marry a girl who has been rejected by some other guy.

This series is questioning our age old customs and asking us if they are still valid in this new world. And I hope the makers do justice and show the acceptance of heart as more important than just the acceptance of families.

Why is Maheswaris not trying to find out why Elder Son Abeer is not considered for proposal by Rajvansh parivar?It hurts to see Abeer roam around without getting any adulation..Seriously none in Maheswari family looked at him with interest. On top of it this Kunal is thrown to the center stage by Abeer himself in hospital fiasco. I thought like SRK in Kal ho na ho Abeer will win hearts...but here every one in Maheswari house got hooked towards Kunal...Really it hurts...I am not watching the show for Kunal..So for me it is a serious concern. Ofcourse I like Kunal and I have nothing against him..I like every one Mishti.,Kuhu nowadays I am liking Kuhu also.

I understand Mishti and Kunal are not attracted to each other but i definitely want to see what kind of relationship they share and what they are going to do to know each other .This will definitely create awkwardness between them when they will end up with their siblings

For Maheswari's it was always about Kunal's alliance so they were more focused on him . Even though Mishti is elder than Kuhu they were thinking of Kuhu's alliance before her elder sister so they might not have questioned about Kunal getting married before Abir

Abir is not a dominating personality like his mom so he wasn't noticeable for Maheswari . Moreover society doesn't have much regard for people who follow their heart instead of society norms . If you look at the surface level Kunal is an ideal guy than Abir so anyone would want him as their son in law .People only see Abir's carefree nature but not the depth in his character .

In Ramayana, Ram is the hero. The whole of the story follows his journey, experience and adventures. The mention of Bharath ends with him getting the sandals from Ram, keeps them on the throne, and rules as Rama's regent. I have read many versions of Ramayana, but none of them detail how Bharath spent his 14 yrs in Ayodhya in Ram's absence. For that 14 yrs, there was no real king on the throne of Ayodhya. By keeping Ram's sandals on the throne, Bharath sent a clear message that he was not the ruler of Ayodhya. We can only imagine what happened in Ayodhya at that time. I feel this story is one of the possibilities of what might have happened in Ayodhya, in the lives of Bharat and the people. As soon as Ram came back from exile, he was coronated as the king and became the ruler of Ayodhya.

One of the main difference between Ramayana and Mahabharat is the choice the main lead made -- Right (sahi) vs Right (haq). In Ramayana, Ram never asserted his "haq" on anything at anytime. He always choose the path of "right (sahi)". Even when Sita was accused by the washerman, he still chose to maintain the path of being "right" and did not defend Sita which was his "Right (haq). In Mahabharata, the main story is about the brothers and their kids trying to assert their "Rights(haq)". In trying to constantly state their claim to the throne, they constantly strayed from the path of being "right (sahi). There is no right and wrong when one is asserting their right, while when is choosing between right and wrong, there is no place for "Right (haq)".

That is exactly what they are showing here. Kunal did not make the choice of his life partner which is his "right(haq)". He is doing what he thinks is "right(sahi)" based on his mom's words and brother's advise. Mishti on the other hand is asserting her "right(haq)" for the first time by requesting that she should be given the opportunity to get to know her life partner. Abir like Ram is giving up Ayodhya on his mom's say so. It doesn't mean that Ram ever stopped being the ruler of Ayodhya. Even when he was in exile, he continued to rule Ayodhya through Bharat. I know it sounds kind of convoluted, but there was no awkwardness between Ram and Bharath when Ram came back to rule the kingdom.

Mishti will probably say that she wants to get to know Kunal before getting engaged to him. I don't know the future story and am guessing based on the promos and what they have shown. Even if the engagement happens, it will not be real from Mishti and Kunal's perspective. Kunal will not have the feelings that one is supposed to have about life partner with Mishti, nor will Mishti feel that way. But these talks will allow the interaction of the 2 pairs with each other and get to know each other. It will lead them to understand what their heart wants. Since Kunal and Mishti don't have that attraction or feelings towards each other, but only questions, I am not sure they will feel that awkwardness in the future.😃😃

What I am trying to say is when a person has to let go of something that "belongs to them, they "feel emotions, be it good or bad, happy or sad. But when a person is asked to give something that belongs to somebody else, you don't feel anything. In fact one feels happy for having returned the thing to it's rightful owner. It is the same here. Kunal never has any feelings for Mishti. He is doing what he is doing only because of Abir. He doesn't really feel that Mishti "belongs to or with him. Hence he will be more than happy when Abir reveals his feelings regarding Mishti and will not have any resentments.

This storyline is nothing like While You were Sleeping😆

In that story, the FL actually had a crush on the second lead to begin with...she only began to fall in love with the male lead after she met him and his family...so the male lead had a legitimate reason to think she loved his brother since she actually had a fantasy of marrying the guy...it was a series of misunderstandings in typical rom com style 😆

Here, Mishti doesn't even know Kunal or has claimed to have any interest in him but Abir is actively pushing her towards Kunal cuz he thinks his brother is nice, she is nice so they can get together...that's it😆...baaki toh time will tell.
