ofcourse he is . He wants that and needs that but then he himself seems to be pushing any slight chance of it happening away too as if he is afriad at the same time to somebody break this halo he has built around him of being oh so carefree happy soul and get to see the real Abir with all his Insecurities complexes and issues. If he opens upeven a slight bit he goes to damage control mode jaldi se

Haha he doesn't make it easy na😆😆...matlab he goes out of his way to project that he doesn't have a care in the world and is all about his sufi udd chalaa mode all the time...toh who will even imagine that underneath all that is a vulnerable soul yearning for a connect?

He's so busy making others happy, who is going to realize that Abir himself isn't REALLY as happy as he projects?

you know it seems meek but i feel somehow if not mishti it will be meenu the mumma. she will be the first one to get through him and break that wall and mend whatever their issues are even though it won't be easy for her and ABir will resist real hard but if they actually want to do something about meenu and abir ka arc this could be good that no matter how they both want others to perceive them and give another image kahin na kahin woh connect of mother son sails through they evolve as a unit together

LMAO you and your love for your Koki Aunty...😆😆...No, sorry I don't feel any maternal vibe worth empathizing with from her. She's a stilted actress anyways...only her random control freak mode works for her.

Her arc with Abir is a long ways away...sab post Abir-Mishti shaadi hi hoga mother-son bonding/healing...standard trope...bahu aake fix karegi sab😆...

I want Abir to open up to Mishti...please spare me the Meenu-Abir fantasies for now😛

What has managed to intrigue me enough to keep watching is Abir-Mishti's dynamic...how easily they talk to each other and connect...especially Abir who seems to feel an instant connect towards her that seems to only be deepening with time into more instinctive protectiveness...if they can continue to show good convos b/w these two...that would be nice.

Right now, Abir is the one who knows much more about her than she seems to about him...owing to the fact that he joined the dots regarding her father very quickly...lol I want to see Mishti getting to know Abir better too...looking beyond the masks he puts in place to present the carefree, irresponsible facade. Their banter is fun but they have the potential for more too.

@bold: Likewise! I will even confess to peaking into the IB forum ever now and then 😉

About the show, I totally agree. The ease of Mishti and Abir is the USP so far, and I love that he already knows her deep, dark secret. But it's also why my cautionary message to the creators is, don't confuse the audience, and get whoever needs to be married, married ASAP. The super romantic promos have made it amply clear who ends up with who and I don't see people having too much patience for Kunal and Misth, but what do I know? 🥱

Another thing I like about the show is how the two couples (yes, I will go ahead and call them that) mirror each other. Kuhu echoes Abir for Kunal, when her words about moving on from past heartbreak seem to get through to him, and Misthi echoes Kunal, when she extracts that promise for Abir to stay. Similarly, I think it's interesting that Abir and Kuhu are the respective siblings in the know about their love interests, while Mishti and Kunal seem to just get pushed around by family and circumstances. They could have a really cute complementary thing if this is done right.

The troll in me finds the parallels between Abir and Kuhu particularly interesting because of the absolute opposite reactions they have elicted from the audience. I'll go ahead and confess that I've found Kuhu quite fun, right from day one, and I think her hashtags are basically her version of Abir's shayari. Despite being coddled, Misthi and Kunal seem to have a much stronger sense of who they are. Kuhu and Abir are both rebelling without being totally sure of what they are rebelling against or what they want the endgame to be. I am excited about all the possibilities these dynamics present.

Todays epi proved that Mishti is getting more and more comfortable with Abhir. While Abhir is trying to woow her for Kunal as of now...she is unknowingly getting close and comfortable with him..

So much so that she is will to sit on that risky ride with him just to challenge herself a bit and understand his point.

Kunal as of now is ok with anything as long as His mom is happy and as long as the tussle between Meenu and her elder Munna is minimum 😆

Also Mishti brings up an apt point today...they were thinking about her alliance without even asking her if she is ready to even get married...she has clearly told Badi maa she is not ready to get married ... and yet they are deciding if Kunal is the right choice...without asking her if she wants a choice.

I think it will be interesting to see how Abhir Manipulates all three...Meenu, her younger Munna and Mishti 😆

right now he is toying with all three... it is like the feelings Mishti is unknowingly developing for him ... he is directing it towards Kunal...

I want to how writer play this out...I know ultimately they may spoil the show, but Hope they do something nice to the story

Hi.. 😃 ... welcome 🤗 ... I loved reading your posts from KRPKAB forum 😃 ...and I loved reading you post here as well..

for I can see your point and it does hold good...

Kuhu and Abhir are rebelling and have an I DONT CARE attitude...they love their family but also have their thoughts to themselves

Like Kuhu does not show to her family how much she hates Mishti ... And Abhir doe show in action more than words how much he rebels his mothers thoughts and her decisions...

I would love to see conversations between abhir and Kuhu some times 😆 ...with her hastag and his shayaris... Kunal and Mishti will hold their heads and site 😆 ...it'll be funny and nice seeing the equation between the 4.

Hope the writers take it in a neat way and don't mess it up 😆 😆

@Cool_wonder: Hey, thanks! It's always nice to see people from former forum lives 😆

The truth of it is, I find Kuhu the most interesting character of the lot. Apparently I have a huge weakness for moody sisters. I don't think she hates Mishti -- there is just a lot of resentment and jealousy there, and for that I blame the elders of the family, not the girls. They have made Kuhu feel like she has to demand attention because Mishti gets so much without asking. Of course, this isn't Mishti's fault, just like Big Ben's manipulative move wasn't her fault, but I find it perfectly understandable that Kuhu would resent her for it, at least at first. My question is, whose brilliant idea was it to send Mishti (of all people) to comfort her?

The best explanation of Kuhu's resentment unraveled with the accident. The fact is that she was really excited about this rishta and Meena completely humiliated and rejected her. The next morning, right in the middle of trying to cheer her up (not even 24 hours after this horrible incident, mind you) her entire family just disappeared in a panic. The fact that she was the one to tell her dad to call the driver, made it seem like she had done this many times before, and her dialogue to Kunal about moving past disappointment was resonant in the same way. It's not even like she was given the information about Mishti's accident so to her it must have seemed like everyone was panicking over nothing. Again, the elders and their lack of organisation driving a wedge.

For the record, she did snap out of this Kunal thing pretty quickly, and came around to the mature idea that she didn't want him if he didn't want her, the very next day! Rajshri didn't need her brilliant plan of bribing her with a phone -- Kuhu just needed time to cool down and think about what she had said and done. So basically, all this ranting comes down to the fact that more and more, I am finding this family kind of annoying. They treat the girls like china dolls when neither of them actually wants that. Why wouldn't Kuhu believe that Mishti is bechari if that is how she constantly sees her family treating her? Why wouldn't Mishti buy her a phone instead of waiting for her rightful apology if her own badi-ma basically tells her Kuhu is a brat and must be placated?

And for them to seriously consider Kunal for Mishti, like that? Damn that was cold. 😲

Your neat points is making me see the Character Kuhu in a different way .
😃

True...Kuhu just needed time and when she got it..she understood and moved ahead...she also understood that what she told Mishti was not right.

coming to Mishti not being asked about her opinion...this is the actual fact which indian woman face.
When their parents feel that it's the right time to marry their daughters. They just tell their relatives, padosis and every third party to search for a groom. But will never ask the girl her opinions...This happens in max cases..

There are families who consider the opinions of the girls too ...

Coming to Kuhu...I want to see once she becomes the bahu of Rajvansh 😆 ..which I hope she will... how will her dynamics with meenu be
also I am looking forward for her interaction with Abhir too 😃 ...

Hope the writers don't spoil the show 😆
