Has it been a year already??? WOW

Armaan's character is truly special for me. This is probably the first time I've connected so much to a male lead on itv in a very long time. I've had quite a journey myself with Armaan. From absolutely disliking him to now loving him wholeheartedly. Well he still annoys me and i still get mad at him but he's one of those characters you just can't help but feel for. He's nowhere near perfect but that's the beauty of his character. His imperfections, that makes him relatable. He makes mistakes but doesn't shy away from owning up to it and apologizing. The writers did a great job while writing his character but this journey wouldn't have been possible if it hadn't been Rohit who was playing Armaan. He puts his heart and soul into the character and it shows on screen. Rohit is a brilliant actor and I'm so glad he's finally getting the love and appreciation he deserves through this show

Rohit Purohit. You have been able to do something that I never thought I would ever do again. Get invested in a show & character so much that I wanted to discuss it with fellow fans. Watching your confrontation scene with the likes of Anita Raaj & stand your ground impressed me, your character's love realization moved me and the video call between Armaan & Abhira sealed the deal for me to be invested in your character's journey for the last 1 year. You made Armaan not just human, but a good one. Someone you want to root for, someone you are willing to justify for, someone you want to hug because he deserves so much more than the hand he was dealt with with regards to his blood family.

Your portrayal of Armaan really showed us not just your range as an actor, but your willingness to really get into a role when it is well written. You made sure that we felt every bit of your emotions throughout your year long journey, so much so that we started associating Armaan with you & no one else. So that is your biggest accomplishment - to have made a character your own, to the extent that no one else matters & we continue to be invested in your characters journey.

SO again, thank you for choosing this character, because he truly could not have been played like this by anyone else.

To be honest we were clueless as much as you on new journey last yr.....but trust me if I say that I kinda relived that u r playing the role.....as I have liked u from your previous work.....coming to Armaan, I liked the character but I became a fan after you entered....

Your energetic entry song being a non dancer you slayed there....You portrayed every layer of the role very effortlessly....The person burdened with gratitude while being with family....but totally opposite being yourself while with the girl you took responsibility....there u played 2 versions of yourself....u played many characters but Armaan stands out of all....

In divorce track, the vulnerability u showed was felt by us.....u didn't like to let go of her but u don't know y u don't want her to leave u....we felt the confusion....After divorce hearing the confrontation Man that single scene has a different fanbase....the raw emotion, bloodshot kanji eyes, dialogue delivery everything was perfect.....

Then came the realisation phase where Abhira confessed and you can't digest the fact she the very person who said that she hates you....how can she love you was again greatly performed by you....the first confrontation with family member Dadisaa was again a Masterpiece.....it was a suppose to be a drunkard scene but still you were composed didn't overdo and slayed the scene....

Phir Armaan ka realisation was another beautiful phase..... In all what a beautiful Arc In a single character you got to play as Armaan....trust me when I say this we were angry, happy, awed and amazed with the u played Armaan.... In every emotion we always loved you..... Thank you entertaining us for one year and many more to come.... And Take a bow for slaying in every frame you r in.....

A year now since Rohit danced his way into the show and a year since Armaan as we love him started taking shape …first impression was that finally Armaan would look like he was meant to be…the suave and super-successful lawyer…Rohit personified the man who belonged to an illustrious family of Udaipur by name but yet remained a reject, tolerated because of the value he brought to the firm and his use to the household …he was a man riddled with complexes and insecurities but his personality slowly started blossoming thanks to the unconditional love he experienced for the first time in his life …and once he started growing, there was no stopping him as he took on all those that had oppressed him and conditioned him to lead a life burdened by emotional indebtedness ..his conditioning and the deep rooted sense of gratitude did cause him to slip up now and then but he always managed to get back on his feet and fight on …that’s Rohit Purohit’s Armaan for you ..a character quite unique for the amount of layers invested in it given how female character driven ITV is …but when gifted with an opportunity like this, Rohit made sure to make the best use of it and earn himself a place in the hearts of Rishta legacy viewers and those who tuned in for the first time too

Happy one year of being Armaan, Rohit …and sending the best of luck and wishes your way for you to continue to ace this journey and every other that you undertake !
