1 year of Rohit Purohit as Armaan

A year back many news articles spoke of a replacement of the male lead in a popular television show, Ye Rishta Kya Kehelata hai. A handsome, green eyed man named Rohit Purohit was the said replacement. Honestly I had not seen his work or knew who the actor was before.

He marked his entry with an excellent dance being a non- dancer himself. A natural curiosity grew on seeing how his version of Armaan would unfold, and ever since Armaan has been my favorite charcter in Gen 4.

Rohit being the excellent actor he is has been able to deliver the emotions of Armaan which made us audience root for him. He is one of the best actors I have seen in itv and his ability to express emotions through eyes, indeed the eyes that speak volumes. You are the best version of Armaan we could ask for.

Rohit Purohit you deserve all the love and appreciation coming your way which was long due. Congratulations on completion of 1 year as Armaan Poddar and cheers to many more year of love coming your way.

I am going to name the post court hearing scene simply because it was so unexpected ..you saw the calm, controlled and composed guy completely lose it ..he didn’t know what to say, how to react, how to express the emotions that he couldn’t put a name to …typical confrontation scenes or emotional scenes are easier to perform…but this one was different …and deliciously so …

The entire sequence spread over 2 episodes of Armaan learning the truth about Vidya and Kaveri's betrayal, the confrontation and finally walking out of Poddar House leaving all the trappings behind with two people who loved him unconditionally. Rohit was brilliant in the entire sequence showcasing the wide range of emotions.

Mine too. That's my fav scene of his.

It was one of Rohit's best performances on the show.

One of the recent and amazing performances by Rohit were the 2 episodes, related to the reveal of the betrayal by the people Armaan considered his family. The range of emotions he depicted were commendable, one of the rarest scene where anger, shock, sense of betrayal, shock all were combined. His voice modulation while confronting Kaveri or Vidya, or on narrating how the little Armaan felt all the while in that house searching for a mother figure, only to be used by his family and finally the conviction and confidence with which he break ties with the poddars and walks out of the house with his mother and wife.

Rohit performance in this scene will always stand apart from the rest

I know I said only one scene but another screen which I loved is the bachelor's party.
