And what crime did she commit exactly? She did what was best for her kids and her husband, like every woman would do.

Akshara Sharma was a good lawyer. She might have taken up law because of Abhir's custody, but she was practicing lawyer for 22 years. And she was well-respected in her field. Also she raised her daughter all alone and did an excellent job at that. She balanced her career and her family life well.
