Akshara Sharma was a good lawyer. She might have taken up law because of Abhir's custody, but she was practicing lawyer for 22 years. And she was well-respected in her field. Also she raised her daughter all alone and did an excellent job at that. She balanced her career and her family life well.

Like I said, difference in opinion. They were parents of abhir and were legally married and cared for each other. They considered themselves husband and wife and they also legally were. Physical relationship cannot be the deciding factor. Example - BK Shivani is married but celibate from Day 1

thats my point...he first rejected akshus calls and so missed abhir ki initial life...chalo use bhool bhi jao..

but even after winning abhir ki custody, kaun se jhande gaad liya usne?? abhir had to run away...he could not even feel and chow sad abhir was!!! manyu was under the spell of his maaaa...that he could not become a good father...abhir had to shout at him to make him realise what he is doing....

and ruhi was to manyu ...what abhir was to abhinav...and v can easily c the difference!!! manyu had zero care for ruhi when he just left her to b with akshu....and it was not for abhir...as even before he new abhir was his son, he proposed akshu....knowing she was a wife and a mom!!!!

makers made it very clear in many scenarios....
