Now a days it is common women go back to work soon after delivery...It shouldn't be a problem 😅 she can go to work , if she wants that choice should be hers that is all.

Kaveriji should not give order to her , what right Kaveri has to order...It is each person's choice , A woman's decision , I have seem many women from my family went back after some time .Immediately going back is fine is her case she is not even " breast feeding " the baby any one can give formula milk . If the Mom is breast feeding means she must use brest pumps etc .

Abhira can go back a way earlier .It is actually safe it is not exactly idealization it is " choice" ..The choice people make for themselves!

Choice - If a woman in front of me wants to do something, I won't say anything because it is not my place but it is a character being written to tell a story to the masses so I don't apply the choice theory in this case because the character is not taking decision, writer is doing it for her

I can very well understand where you are coming from.

@bold - that's a global problem unfortunately. But media portray it as normal.

You seeing it as very sensitive issue which is fine but major audience don't.

Though ITV and movies influence people but still their basic thinking don't change after watching it.

(Though exceptional cases can be there)

It's nothing but token points for online woke junta who goes wah wah whenever fl do so much as shit on screen. When I say woke i don't mean to offend people with actual nuance and interest in story, and not blind andhbhakts panting like a dog after a fl.

Women bodies are different. Actors become fit and fine in 3-5 months, some never heal like my mother. She still has a huge scar from c section, can't sit properly or move suddenly, has chronic backpain issues etc. seeing her is realising pregnancy isn't a joke or checklist tick off like media shows us. It's a life long commitment at the cost of our body. Women are giver, they are blessed. But not really. Who wants to give up their bodily function like this? I don't think many would given the choice.

Point of my above paragraph is - itv serials are from long time showing absolute crap. We joke about old ekta shows of plastic surgery and 4 wives. But how different are we when we watch shows which surpass those in toxicity? In 2024, yrkkh #2 show in Hindi, teaches women

It's okay to go through a pregnancy cause mother's instinct bullsht

Main to mar hi jati kinda language is fine -knowing very well it was a possibility you or baby would have died

Once you give birth, you are fine enough to be prim proper decked up in make up and saree cause pain who? Scar what?

Not after 3 days of giving birth, a huge lawyer firm don't have enough people to even take over your case. You are the only person capable enough to go to work after 3 days of giving birth.

Talking about raising baby with another woman who hate her and then cry when she rejects

Always jumping to other people confrontation and like listening when people curse you. That's Bahu, right?

I had a male colleague who's baby was still born. Dude was back to work after 1 week and our manager was praising him "wow in this terrible situation, he didn't stop thinking about work, amazing display of work ethic" and I was like no, there is nothing heroic in that. You don't even get time to grieve? Fck that. Fck that job. Stay with your wife, heal yourself. Wtf is this expectation that anyone can die but work shouldn't stop? This is the work culture Narayan murthi kinda people want, who still pays 15k salary for people in a city like Bangalore. Don't do this. Don't show on screen that women are so heroic, so awesome , they don't have pain. Women are already put in some unexpected standards. This kinda display onscreen is damaging.

And funnily, woke online junta who loves lapping up token working professional women don't see anything wrong with it. If someone from poddar house says to rest and work later, that will be issue hindering fl's working life.😏👏.

No one is ponting out how weak abhira is shown now. Maybe Arman had a point for going with things as he's doing. His wife is mentally weak, better to shield her cause woh to mar hi jati hai agar bacha mar jata in a high risk pregnancy like hers? Fck doctor. Kya hi jante hai ye log. Abhira be dikha diya na bacha ho sakta hai.

This case is a strange case though Abhira 🤔 is not yet a Maa Ristha writer wants to lecture projecting her as " working woman " and her struggles...let us get enlightened smiley37

Muje samriddhi ki acting dekhni hai jab abhira ko pata chalega ki bsp is died and this is ruhi ka son. Shivangi joshi had nailed that scene.

Honestly abhi toh muje abhira character bacche ka well wisher ho itna he vibe aata hai , bacche ke sath ke kisi bhi scene mai motherly touch feel nahi hua .

ruhi ka sirf ek scene tha jaha woh coma se uth stairs se niche aa kar apne baby ko apne hath mai leti hai and bolti hai “mera baccha”, woh ek scene was full of motherly emotions. Instagram/reddit is so full with that clip.

Uske baad toh we know how they snatched everything from her just to prove duniya ke har bacche ko real parents se chinn kar zyada sane mother ji father ji ko de dena chahiye.

in corporate i have become so cynical I don't like this idea that you have to sacrifice your love for these blood thirsty leech who don't even pay you well.

Like.krinya.said in page 1, it's abhiras law firm handled by her family. She can actually relax and enjoy the baby for whom she almost died. She don't have to run to get her work cause that's not getting away. Not like us normal people who has to work under someone

It’s why the recent track of Abhira glorifying a man choosing a baby and letting his wife die and also herself willing to die over a baby was so problematic and disgusting. We have women dying from child birth because many see a fetus not yet born more deserving to live than the pregnant women and then we get shit like Abhira on tv too. 😪 RS and all such PHs are disgusting, but we can’t blame them only when such dangerous tracks are liked and many relate to such FLs. Anumapa, Abhira, etc are the ideal women for them.

Has anyone noticed how FLs or any supposedly goody female characters never get alimony and her share of marital assets upon divorce despite being married to rich husbands? The Fl will be screaming or the writing will imply that she has self respect and will get everything on her own, implying that women don’t have right to alimony and their own marital assets. They will show that’s how good woman should be while at the same time it demonizes the women characters who ask for alimony and try to get their marital assets by showing and/or implying they are gold diggers. Gold diggers for wanting their own assets/money. 😡.

A woman first ignores her health and goes through every bit of pain to give birth to a child, even being ready for her impending death so that her mother in law accepts her husband.

Then within weeks of a difficult pregnancy when a woman's body heals, she stands up and is shown going to work because apparently a woman can do both

A woman can do both but we women have fought for maternity leaves, we are still fighting for voluntary leaves during monthly courses because women's health is the most ignored topic, giving birth takes a toll on a woman's body, it is okay to not want to work but how can they show it here?

They could have shown greedy dadi taking the baby with her and asking Abhira to work on the case but Abhira saying that she wants to rest for a while but if she rests, wouldn't she be less than ideal?

I hate how makers use female leads to undermine women's causes

It is an unnecessary track for Indian demographic that watches it and tries to shame their DIL for pregnancy and post partum struggles even in 2024!

I work in US where maternity leave isn’t a legal right and depends on your firm. My pregnancy was one of those high risk twin pregnancies resulting with 30 weeks preemies who had to spend their time in NICU for two months before coming home. I was asked to take two weeks off to recover from emergency csection and report to work.
Reason: Your kids are safe and taken care of in hospital.
I couldn’t take my 3 month ‘unpaid’ leave right after their birth since I had to wait and take it after their discharge. Ideally I should have been given atleast 6 months off. Toughest months, and the acknowledgment, unpaid 3 months off.

This is the mindset of developed nation, one that elected a crap bag who is legally a criminal and could get worse.
Abhira’s going back to work just projects the mindset of crapbags in my office and the crapbags across the world that try to paint women as super power as soon as motherhood is achieved. Writers need to seriously stop, period.
