Armaan is looking like a double faced man right now. He behaves like someone inside the room and like someone else outside the room. He is exactly what Ruhi has described him to be. I find Ruhi far far better than him.

Yuvraj was a criminal. Cannot compare him with Armaan but right now Armaan is a trash in Abhira's life which she has to bear before she becomes independent.

Ikr abhira and ruhi are exactly what we were promised but this Desire dude's whole characterization have changed so drastically like he was supposed to be cool headed, family guy with high moral grounds. Here, he is doing gulgul with his brother's wife, shouting like mad man at every given apportunity, and hardly nibaoing his pati dhram/akshara ma'am ka waad. More than dadisa he seems like a villain to me.

Waiting for abhira's accha aadmi, because I have tolerance for this screaming monkeys, red flag or not.

I never had much of an opinion on Armaan's character untill this post popped up.

I don't think, that he is going unrealistically.

He was the kid who worked his soul off to maintain the set standard of his family, everytime. He is the one, who let go of his heart's liking for his brother. He has sacrificed his youth to be the liked son of the family. Still Rohit will win on getting attention- everyday.

When Mansiha said something about blood being thicker than water- she didn't come up with it on that day. There might be a constant discrimination on the standards the boys were expected to live upto to get appreciated

Armaan instead of celebrating his mother, was taught to be embarrassed of her, even by his father, who was scared to accept his love for her.

Armaan's behaviour is natural.

He took the bold step on his own, without his family's influence. He treated Abhira in his own way, without his family's influence and constant judgement.

And initially Abhira was majorly sulky and wasn't really talking to him

But when she regained her own self back- Armaan saw a girl who won't keep quiet. She talked and stated and argued.

And now Armaan has to make a choice- between the rules and morals he has followed all his life for the past 30 years and a new girl who wants to defy it all. How is that choice any easy?

I mean, any man, in the initial few days would agree with his family. Abhira is too modern and out spoken for the Poddars. She is such a new breeze of air that most of them have caught cold.

I just want to say that Armaan wanting to make Abhira quiet for her own good and choosing the loud allegations of his family who is-almost emotionally exploiting him on his every move- is somewhat expected by me.

None actually thinks of his family of 30 years to be the villain, spontaneously, when he himself is the victim of a similar diplomatic behaviour for years.

I know he isn't exactly treated like a trash can but he is somewhat manipulated a lot.

He'd see Abhira soon.

He'd see how even if she is loud and out spoken, her intent is always good and fair.

But for that we need to give him some time.

I think he still realizes that he is somewhere making it too difficult for the girl to thrive, but Abhira's out spokenness gives him less chances to ponder over his decisions.

All his time goes away in listening to both the parties and being emotionally manipulated by his ever crying maa and dramatic daadi.

These two women make me vomit.

Although, there is a fat chance that they give him uncharacteristic douche-idiotic qualities in the future so that all I said- right now- will not be valid any longer.
