He gave her security and respect but unintentionally trapped her in a marriage of debt and gratitude. If it was really a second chance at love and marriage when they agreed to marry, I would hail it but it wasn’t. It was marriage of convenience for both and wrong decision by both. If Ak hadn’t got the jolt of fate and asked to be married in real sense, they could be trapped in love-less marriage for who knows how long.

As regards to being a life partner, as I said before he wasn’t a life partner until udaipur track when they agreed to start married life for real. Call him an excellent flat mate for 6 years. And so we are comparing apples and oranges. I agree Abhi-Ak relationship was messed up but Nav-Ak haven’t had a real relationship yet.

But you are the one who brought up about army and all. That's why I said that no need to be a hero. He just had to support, understand, trust and provide peace.

That's even worse for Abhi. Being a husband, a lover, he never showed that trust nor there was any peace when they were married. Abhinav who was nothing and still is nothing keeps giving what Abhi failed years ago.

Except the intimacy, Abhinav and Akshara behave like married couple. So yes, they are life partners.

If we look at it logically ..aksharas relationship with abhinav was far deeper than with abhimanyu..because she only considers Abhimanyu a sperm donor for abhir..she regards abhinav as abhirs dad..and now she wants to protect abhinavs father rights by hiding abhirs truth from abhimanyu at all costs. This whole story is so ridiculous but as it is itv we can expect this nonsense. Because if akshara was a real woman..she should tell abhimanyu the truth ..give him visitation rights..and she can start her life with abhinav on a clean slate like she says wants to🤷🏻‍♀️

Bold 1: what about emotional intimacy, they didn’t have that either. She didn’t feel comfortable telling him anything about herself and he didn’t bother. The way they lived for 6 years, I won’t call it as real relationship. What they had was mundane everyday life interactions.

And if that happens in a real relationship, I would call it as void, empty relationship that is falling apart. Anyways this is my view, and I get it that everyone has different views on relationships, so we can agree to disagree.

Bold 2: True, that is what she should do, not for anyone else, but for herself and her child and then she can decide how she wants to live.

Sorry, that was my silly sense of humour, not part of real conversation ✌️

he actually knew all about her family..and he knew about abhimanyu…she didn’t go into details about Neil’s death ..maybe because it was too painful…but akshara said he was her best friend..and in marriage when your spouse becomes your best friend ..that’s very special.. are you married ? I’ve been married many years..and together with love and intimacy ..friendship is very important in marriage....abhinav and akshara do things together as equals..which she never experienced with abhimanyu..she said so…. anyway. This is just a fictional show.. so abhira most probably will unite..but if you look at it realistically..abhinav is a far better partner for akshara and she’s experienced true peace and happiness with him..and once their marriage attains physical intimacy it will be perfect.. lol..but we most probably wouldn’t see that 😂

I think he just knew Ak’s family lives in Udaipur. She had a husband who divorced her when she was pregnant. Don’t think he knew anything about divorce circumstances or about Abhi. He didn’t know how rich she was or what she did before she met him!!

Friendship is important part of the relationship, but not whole. And I am not saying they can’t be in a good relationship. From whatever they have shown they have compatible personalities and can be good together, but they are not there yet. My point just is that I don’t think they have been in a marriage relationship in 6 years they have lived together. So we shouldn’t hail it as good marriage, good husband yet. Ak keeps saying that because she is in her grand delusion to maintain status-quo. She has conveniently forgotten she has been living with father ji of her child (as she asked for) not a husband yet.

I know Abhinav is just a passing character (possibly for a while now 😭 giving the parallel lead news going around).

you know in life sometimes certain things are very painful to talk about,..so you let it go.. e.g. akshara gave up singing..after abhimanyu threw her out of his life …and she didn’t speak about her life with him..although Nav picked up quite a bit as he was there taking care of her.,remember he called abhimanyu so he knows things didn’t end well for qbhira. As for the goenkas money ..it’s good that Nav didn’t know how rich they were..otherwise people could think he was after her money..and akshara was happy living the simple life ..running her own simple home, making her jam. I’m glad we got to see some simple life in yrkkh..because they make all the families super rich..like Karan johars films ..and this is far from reality for most people..most people have regular jobs, where they run their homes on a budget..and money is not abundant..so it’s nice to see this in yrkkh .. a couple trying to make ends meet and working hard but still sending their child to a good school,.and raising him well..abhir is a good boy..and he’s had a happy childhood..they are showing us this..whereas his real father abhimanyu although he came from a super rich background had a unhappy childhood that affected him growing up… so money is not everything in life..and money doesn’t bring happiness.. it’s good that yrkkh is showing us this..yes we know akshara and abhinav struggled to pay the huge medical bills..but in real life there are very good government hospitals that provide good care for lower income people..so,it’s not like poor people don’t have access to healthcare. Some of the best doctors and professors in the world work in government hospitals that provide care to,lower socioeconomic people.. But the writers needed the sharma family back in Udaipur..so they showed them struggling to pay the medical bills and needing abhimanyus help 🤷🏻‍♀️..anyway..I hope the show keeps our interest up..its actually quite interesting at the moment 🤷🏻‍♀️

She didn't expect any intimacy from him be it emotionally or physically so she didn't have to share her past. He knew that she came out of a marriage and the father of her child didn't want to hear from her. That was enough for him to support her. We didn't get much details of her pregnancy but he must have been there for her and gave her a shelter. That was enough for Akshara to make him Abhir's father. What you are calling it selfish, it was probably just attachment. He was attached to Abhir even before he was born and thought about giving it a name. He knows how it feels to be an orphan. He wanted that kid to have a father. I agree it sounds too OTT but well that's how the character is. Too nice. I get bored with his kindness but when I think rationally, Abhinav is the gentleman Akshara needed in her life. Love is important in a relationship but respect, understanding and peace are more important than love.

my views - love including both emotional and physical intimacy are important parts of the relationship and then add what you expect from your partner. Peace, trust, respect, happiness are also essential parts of the process and you need to have them to make it work, but in absence of first two, it’s at best just friendship not husband/wife.

P.s - Everyone has different views and expectations from marriage and are entitled to it, these are just my thoughts.
