My sister, you should avoid such shows for some time because it is surely not healthy to watch back to back bs.

The thing is... People saying Abhi was xyz and hence what he did was not out of the blue but then explain how Anuj turned grey? He toh was the original acha admi no?

See it's all trp game and those who do not see it are ones who watch the show sincerely.

I don't think moral policing is wrong. Characters should be bashed if they go wrong but my only concern is how they jumped from caring Abhi to cruel Abhi - there was no proper build up for me to understand the drastic change.

@Bold High time ITV adapts the season format now.

i have took sanyas now ๐Ÿ˜† neither watching maa nor yrrkh ๐Ÿ˜† I had enought trauma watching both now watching bekaboo. Atleast supernatural illogical tracks are more interesting than DDP of DKP ๐Ÿ˜†

But Abhi did not abandon his child. He abandoned Akshara for sure but not his kid. I will not defend Abhi for what he did but will defend him for what he did not do.

Yes, they did ruin Parth and Manjari too for this leap I agree. Manjari wasn't a great mother before either but she was never cruel. Whatever she did used to be due to her dumbness, never intentionally malicious. Biggest character destruction was of Abhi then Manjari then Akshara.

Show feels weird because they have no proper development. They jump from one thing to another like a rabbit ruining a pretty field for carrots.

Yes that is exactly what I mean even though he didn't abandoned his child coz as per him she miscarriage.

This is the reason he still didn't know that Abhir is his son.

But the way they butchered his character and ohh i love Harshad still is portraying it no matter what you feel Abhi's pain.

Bold- Indeed.

I don't think they know what they are doing. Everything is stupid and doesn't make sense. Why instead of redemption he is making more promises to Aarohi, why coz she lost her husband who was ready to divorce her a week prior to his death is the victim of everything and the sweetest of all.

I mean even if now if Akshu needs to call Abhi for Abhir coz of hole in his heart. Is she calling coz Abhimanyu is the best dr only in India or she doesn't have money for treatment and knows Abhimanyu or calling him coz they need a match or so. Let's see how they plays that out.

Arohi is a selfish personโ€” that is a apathetic thing but it doesn't mean she can be wringed along according to soulmates' whims. He consented to the engagementโ€” exactly like he has nowโ€” and then went on to dump her at the alter without so much as communicating the issues with her.

How come everyone else but Abhimanyu is responsible for his actions? Chhota baccha hai kya?

I think we all blame Abhi for his actions more than anyone else.

But Abhi was not wrong in the first engagement. At least not the main culprit. He was not demanding that Akshara love him, he knew that she loved him and wanted her to come out of Arohi's shadow. Yes the way of freeing Akshara may seem wrong but intention wise, he wasn't trying to force her. I personally felt Arohi was pressuring Akshara to give up her free will and happiness for herself. Consent is important but is it consent if your sister has compelled you to lie? A person may say yes to a demand but they are held at gun point - is this truly consent? Intention is very important and we all saw Akshara did love Abhi, she was only willing to trade Abhi because for her, Arohi needed to be pleased.

The way both sisters treated Abhi as an object during that time wasnt right either.

First engagement, I can never sympathise with Arohi because girl committed fraud to get engaged to a rich boy. It's not like she didn't know Abhi was in love with Akshara.

Abki choro, I don't associate with the post leap Abhi. Abhi is wrong to spoil Ruhi and I appreciated him being honest with Arohi that he loves Akshara but then he still went ahead with engagement. This time he is wrong to give her false hope.

People would rather have the female lead act like that doormat Preeti from Kabir Singh. Dialogue bhi bulwalo "Maine ek ungli bhi touch nahi karne diya tu chahe hazaron ladkiyon ke sath s** hi kyun na karle".

But then I've watched many shows so I'm used to seeing Male leads be downgraded in order to glorify the female lead who can never do any wrong. I'm used to this formula so will not drink it.

One major issue with Indian television is this only. It shows that men will always be jerks and women will always be an abla nari. They ruined Kartik's character too for the same reason. Just see anupama and how Anuj now abandoned Anu. This is again done to bring some spice to the show but is it really worth showing this? Now some people will use this as an example on why you should not remarry. Is this really a good message?

I think only Parvati and Tulsi had badass tracks which justified the leaps but yaha Akshara has no voice of her own for one to root for her. Bechari he bana diya hain bas. I don't want to feel daya for Akshara, I want to root for her which isn't happening for someone who thinks law exams are a joke.

I think only few Male leads have been shown with a proper balance. Examples include Naitik, Om from KGGK, Suraj from Diya aur batti. Makers need to revise their characters for their Male leads (not cameos).

In Anupamaa-Anuj's situation, Anupamaa is the one who is wrong. That guy was depressed and shattered over losing his daughter. While made Anupamaa was happily celebrating the festival with her toxic ex-family and was forcing him to join her.

See, you are free to like Abhimanyu. That s a personal choice. But please don't twist other characters' narratives to prove your point. Neither Anuj nor Naitik ever mistreated their wife who suffered a miscarriage. They are actually good characters unlike Dr Birla

Yes as you mentioned if we go with such tracks it will just give some wierd messages like never adopt any kid. Do not marry married women. Do not believe in 2nd marriage. All marriages are abusive etc. Which is not true. If we start moral policing every character we will not have any characters in hand as every character has one or the other fault as itv can't earn money with goody good character. They need some bad traits which is used to drag the sequences. If everything goes smooth then how exactly show will move forwards. The smooth ways only look goof if the show is limited series but here we are talking about long running show.

Anuj is ruined because he actually had enough of Anupamaa s nonsense and reacted. That woman was forcing him to celebrate holi called him"pagal". But Anuj was still not supposed to react?

You guys still support Abhimanyu gaslighter Birla

He knew that she loved him? How? She said no, right? Is Abhimanyu Birla a mind reader that he knew what she feels deeeeeeeeeep down inside of her that even she didn't? No, the only thing that his actions betray is, he did not respect her consent. Even if she did love him, he was neither entitled to those feelings nor did that give him the right to pressurise her to change her decision.

That's her consent and that should have been the end of itโ€” morally and legally.

I am amazed how you are justifying a man violating the consent of a woman because his 'intentions were good'

i never said anuj was wrong but rather than fighting case in court he just made mockery out 26 years of his pyar. If court decides CA will go with maya he or anupama don't have any other say. Being a buinsess man he just acts like anupama's puppet and waits for anupama to tell him what to do next.

I will support abhimanyu and anuj as they are itv leads and i have started watching the show accepting the fact that leads will be butchered. I don't mix my personal life with itv life. As both are different and i like to keep them seperate ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€

The one who made a mockery of their relationship is Anupamaa

She was gaslighting him just like Abhimanyu gaslighting Akshu.

Abhimanyu threw Akshara out of his life right after she miscarried and Anupamma madam had the audacity to call him "Pagal" while he was depressed

Abhimanyu and Anupamaa are birds of the same feather

I never talked about your personal life so I don't see why you are bringing that up

Eve aacha aadmi has his limits. If your wife calls you "pagal" and gaslight you tab koi bhi issi tarah see react karega

Abhimanyu and Anupamaa bilkul ek jaise hi hai
