One major issue with Indian television is this only. It shows that men will always be jerks and women will always be an abla nari. They ruined Kartik's character too for the same reason. Just see anupama and how Anuj now abandoned Anu. This is again done to bring some spice to the show but is it really worth showing this? Now some people will use this as an example on why you should not remarry. Is this really a good message?

I think only Parvati and Tulsi had badass tracks which justified the leaps but yaha Akshara has no voice of her own for one to root for her. Bechari he bana diya hain bas. I don't want to feel daya for Akshara, I want to root for her which isn't happening for someone who thinks law exams are a joke.

I think only few Male leads have been shown with a proper balance. Examples include Naitik, Om from KGGK, Suraj from Diya aur batti. Makers need to revise their characters for their Male leads (not cameos).

i loved anuj more than abhi. They ruined him completely and even though anu is also responsible but anuj was never like that. But i will still wait for anuj to get back to his real self and may resume watching like how i am doing it currently with yrkkh.

Yes as you mentioned if we go with such tracks it will just give some wierd messages like never adopt any kid. Do not marry married women. Do not believe in 2nd marriage. All marriages are abusive etc. Which is not true. If we start moral policing every character we will not have any characters in hand as every character has one or the other fault as itv can't earn money with goody good character. They need some bad traits which is used to drag the sequences. If everything goes smooth then how exactly show will move forwards. The smooth ways only look goof if the show is limited series but here we are talking about long running show.

I mean for sure its absolutely okay to be a fraud and lie to Abhi about saving him in the fire.

Abhi had anger issues, he was not a monster. Many people have anger issues, not all end up throwing their spouse out of the house. If you want to count mistakes then Akshara and Arohi are no saints either. Hit and run case was a big no no but makers brushed it under the carpet.

The fact remains that Akshara had said no to him. Any decent person would cease to bother the other party but no. He went ahead stalking her, gaslighting her, and pressurising her to change her decision. That is a textbook abuser.

Arohi is a selfish personβ€” that is a apathetic thing but it doesn't mean she can be wringed along according to soulmates' whims. He consented to the engagementβ€” exactly like he has nowβ€” and then went on to dump her at the alter without so much as communicating the issues with her.

How come everyone else but Abhimanyu is responsible for his actions? Chhota baccha hai kya?

i agree. These are the characters they ruined completely for leap.

1. Abhi : he became overnight insensitive. A doctor who used to treat all his poor patients who even went against his father to treat some patients suddenly shown as maniac. Who used to come up with yamraj outfits for poor patient. Who used to ignore vip patients became insensitive.

2. Parth : the person who used to feel happy staying with manjari and used to cook food with her discuss about tamatar chutney overnight became abuser.

3. Shefali: the person who used to give it back to parth overnight became victim.

4. Manjari : the person who was dumb and for some time she treated akshu as her daughter irrespective how much she messed she was considered as mother to akshu. Overnight became evil and cunning

5.kairav: the person who used to go to abhi and ask justice for akshu. Suddenly became insensitive and left his sister.

6. Akshu : shown as weak. The girl who left udaipur stayed alone for long suddenly felf a need of a man in life that too she felt like marrying him. Kya uske friends mar gaye them what she did when she was away from udaipur. Family chodo where are her friends.

I would have not mind if nav was her best friend who supported her when she was in need. But they made nav as stranger inorder glorify his character more.

They butchered all these character to show how good nav is and how happy akshu is with nav. Nav may be good but i can not forgive him for giving 15 minutes of torture that i have to bear tolerating all the above butchered characters.

You might think it's torture but lot of us are enjoying Abhinavs character. I think it's just personal choice. Neither your wrong nor us.

And regarding butchering other characters Abhinav is not responsible for that. People make mistakes in relationship and they just showed that. They showed them giving chance after first divorce but after second that vibes got killed. It also doesn't mean Abhinav will not get butchered and is super perfect. He might be too after couple of months. So enjoying his character until he is positive just like how Abhira were fun to watch before wedding.

fair enough. That's how itv works. They try to balance between different type of audience hence they have trp. And that's why i skip what i Don't like as i know this is how itv works. But when some thing comes up which abhira fans will like then abhira fans would expect everyone to do the same than treating abhira fans as non emphatetic ppl. And judging them over itv show.

I agree no one should be judged for this. Like I said it's personal choice. No one is wrong here. Few are just watching show for Harshali, few for Abhira, few for Navra and few for Aarohi/Karishma too. Sabki individual choice hai. Whatever connects to them enjoy karo, Baaki skip karo ya dekhlo :)

yes 😊 i feel bad when ppl start moral policing or calling abhira/harshali fans as non emphatetic ppl. As they also have emotions and have heart. Ek itv ke liye if you call real ppl as non empathetic phir whats the difference between abhi and them as in the end he just abused in fictional shows but yaha toh real main taane diya ja raha hai πŸ˜†

I totally agree with this any sane minded person with lil bit of self respect will choose abhinav over abhimanyu but indian tv audience doesn't need real emotions itv thrives on toxicity coz viewers will die defending their toxic High headed male lead kyun ki pehle usne pyar kiaπŸ₯±

Honestly, I feel for abhira fans. They got a bad deal but that doesn't take away from the fact that logically Akshara has had the sanest, most peaceful years of her life with Abhinav and Abhir in Kasauli. As a viewer, with zero interest in the meta and going by just the storylines, there's no way you'd want her to go back to Abhimanyu at this point. Those two fell for each other within the span of a week, had the weirdest courtship where he was marrying her sister but courting her, a hotchpotch, botched marriage where he divorced her TWICE in the span of what 5-6 months of togetherness? And the second divorce -- let's not even talk about it. A doctor doing that to his wife after she miscarried & watched her brother in law die.

Akshara's been gaslighted and blamed and abused her entire life. At least going by the show. It's kind of nice to see how she's been safe and away from all that for 6+ years. Abhinav's been a godsend for her. Just looking back at the few weeks she just spent back in Udaipur and the quiet but content life she's back to leading in Kasauli would tell you why she should never go back to that hellhole. Even Abhir has grown up a kind, healthy stable child because he grew up in a stable environment watching a very healthy relationship between his parents. One only has to compare him to Ruhi to see why living away from the Birlas/Goenkas has been the best thing to have ever happened to him.

Anyone in Akshara's place would TRY their best to make an honest relationship out of this because Abhinav's a gem of a person and for six years Akshara's found a lovable, supporting, caring companion in him. They've got a very stable base, a friendship forged over years of being each other's and Abhir's caregiver and support system. Why shouldn't one try and build a marriage over that and see where it goes?

Her choosing Abhimanyu over Abhinav for some intangible abstract idea makes zero sense right now. Abhinav will most probably die -- and better that than ruining him -- but for me as a viewer, these years of her life with him will always appear far brighter, more peaceful, more beautiful than anything else.

My abhira heart kills me to agree with you πŸ’”

But you have explained things very beautifully and simply!

Even I think Akshara moving on trying to make a go at the relationship is genuine from her side! She might still love abhimanyu deep down but whatever happened 6 years ago and recently has made her resolve stronger!

She's even gone as far as saying she doesn't want to ever return to her mayka! Imagine a daughter feeling so unwanted!

I'm sorry but I don't know whether to laugh or cry at what you are having to watch 🀣🀧

I'm toh am stuck in travelling between cities so passing time during journeys but you are legit watching such faltu tracks and then watching the same faltu track be rinsed and repeated on the other show 😭

My sister, you should avoid such shows for some time because it is surely not healthy to watch back to back bs.

The thing is... People saying Abhi was xyz and hence what he did was not out of the blue but then explain how Anuj turned grey? He toh was the original acha admi no?

See it's all trp game and those who do not see it are ones who watch the show sincerely.

I don't think moral policing is wrong. Characters should be bashed if they go wrong but my only concern is how they jumped from caring Abhi to cruel Abhi - there was no proper build up for me to understand the drastic change.
