I've not said Anuj and Abhi are bhai bhai, I've said makers are doing what they did in yrkkh in anupama too which isnt entirely wrong.

Anupama was begging Anuj to not leave her, she was walking alone homeless with nowhere to go. Same way Akshara was walking alone with nowhere to go.

Why do they need to do this to their female leads as if they have no other option but be with a man?

The plot may be different but ideas are borrowed and if I'm the only one who can see this then well...

Okay but that still affirms my point that makers will create such scenarios for trps so they do alter their characters like it's a piece of lehenga choli.

But gotta say Akshara also had her family's support. Not just her paternal family, she had her mama's fam and her nani's house who all do not have direct touch with Abhi so that wavers the excuse of not wanting to be near Abhi. We all know how nice the Singhaniyas and Maheswaris are so I don't see the sense in Akshara relying on a stranger over her own family but it is a show so oh well.

Akshara knew Abhi loved her only. She also knew Arohi did not love him. Yet she wanted Abhi and Arohi together because she wanted Arohi to be happy. If that is not using him as a prop then I don't know what it is.

It may seem legitimate to you but to me, it came across as Akshara punishing herself to satisfy Arohi's demands. It's like she was trapped in arohis world whereby she needed arohis permission to even think about herself.

Also, lying about the fire thing wasn't okay either because it is fraudulent to change the facts of an incident. Akshara knew Abhi was not in love with Arohi and also knew that the fire thing had made him give Arohi a chance because that's when his faith in Akshara love had shattered yet she didn't disclose the truth because she didn't want to upset Arohi. Letting your sister lie and hiding the truth is basically misleading someone and toying with their emotions.

You have to learn to love and accept marriage - Akshara had given a crappy statement like this to Abhi on engagement day which was clearly telling him to compromise. She can say no to him but why encourage the marriage when she knew her sister didnt love him.

Why would Abhi be worried about a wedding to a girl who used Manjaris health as a tool to emotionally blackmail him, lied about saving him to get into his good books, severely abused her sister mentally to an extent that Akshara didn't feel worthy of marrying Abhi. Arohi didn't want marriage, she wanted a trophy husband and why would Abhi marry someone who was willing to lie about saving him? I mean why would people expect him to still marry a fraud?

You don't have to say yes to someone who saves you but both sisters knew that was a big factor that triggered him to say yes (along with manajris health) yet neither thought to tell him the truth.

Yes, Abhi was wrong to get Akshara to confess first. He should have done Arohi's aarti first and then asked Akshara to confess.

Arohi loved him in Arohi’s own way and I don’t think Akshara considered that Arohi might not be in love till she started wondering about the money and wondering if Arohi has done something wrong ..

Abhimanyu decided to marry Arohi .. Akshara had not asked him to take that call .. he is one of the top cardiologists in the country and him taking a dumb decision to marry sister of the girl he is still in love with Cato be blamed on Akshara.. in fact Mahima, Anand, Niel all expected Abhimanyu to say no to Arohi .. but he said yes because he was ready to marry anyone .. why are we blaming Akshara for that? And he went in full josh yo her family abd said he is asking for rishta and he is doing it willingly , while from the start he kept taunting Akshara on the side .. he told Arohi he will love only Akshara , but he didn’t say he is going to keep trying to get her to say yes and taunt her and try to break this marriage that he himself came up with while pretending to others around that he is really going to marry Arohi .. Akshara asked him to remember he is getting married after he himself chose to marry Arohi .. that is not forcing him to marry Arohi .. she never said unless you marry Srohi I will kill myself or do something else or even the famous ITV trope tumhe meri kasam .. Abhimanyu went ahead and chose to do it and then on the side tried to get the sister of his bride to kdiwn and say yes .. I really don’t know how Akshara is to blame for all the kaands he did during the wedding .. normal people if they think the girl is saying no for other reasons will wait and try to patiently build a relationship .. we are also discounting the fact that abhimanyu and Akshara were not in a relationship .. Abhimanyu was a guy she felt attracted to and he probably was very sure of that connection he felt , but she was a very young girl who felt attracted. Felt happy about the feelings it was evoking .. but most girls I know will take time to conclude that this is love and I want to be with this person .. and then the tilak fiasco happened ..why would she declare a relationship ship that was not there at all when it would screw up the one relation that she was trying to make normal .. I don’t think her decisions are totally irrational or wrong .. and fire thing , she didn’t actively tell a lie .. but she chose to not break that lie .. but that doesn’t mean she was expecting Abhimanyu to fall for her sister and propose marriage because she saved him from fire .. I honestly feel Abhimanyu and to a lesser extent Harsh and Manjari were more responsible for most of the pre confessio fiasco and Abhimanyu solely responsible for how badly that wedding was broken .. he should have and could have handled that much better ..
